1 Beati quelli che sono senza macchia nella loro condotta e procedono secondo la legge del Signore.	1 Alleluia. ALEPH. Blessed are the immaculate in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 Beati quelli che ne studiano gl'insegnamenti e lo cercano con tutto il cuore.	2 Blessed are those who examine his testimonies. They seek him with their whole heart.
3 Non certo quelli che commettono l'iniquità camminano nelle sue vie!	3 For those who work iniquity have not walked in his ways.
4 Tu hai ordinato che i tuoi precetti siano osservati con grande esattezza.	4 You have ordered your commandments to be kept most diligently.
5 Possa la mia condotta essere indirizzata all'osservanza dei tuoi statuti.	5 I wish that my ways may be directed so as to keep your justifications.
6 Allora non avrò da arrossire, quando avrò l'occhio a tutti i tuoi comandamenti.	6 Then I will not be confounded, when I will look into all your commandments.
7 Con sincerità di cuore ti darò lode, quando avrò appreso i decreti della tua giustizia.	7 I will confess to you with honesty of heart. In this way, I have learned the judgments of your justice.
8 Io propongo di osservare i tuoi statuti; deh, non mi abbandonare del tutto!	8 I will keep your justifications. Do not utterly abandon me.
9 In qual maniera il giovane mantiene pura la sua condotta? Col mettere in pratica le tue parole.	9 BETH. By what does an adolescent correct his way? By keeping to your words.
10 Con tutto il mio cuore ti ho cercato: non permettere che m'allontani dai tuoi comandamenti.	10 With my whole heart, I have sought you. Do not let me be driven away from your commandments.
11 Nel mio cuore fo tesoro delle tue parole, per non peccare contro di te.	11 I have hidden your eloquence in my heart, so that I may not sin against you.
12 Sii benedetto, o Signore: insegnami le tue istituzioni.	12 Blessed are you, O Lord. Teach me your justifications.
13 Colle mie labbra ho ripetuto tutti i giudizi della tua bocca.	13 With my lips, I have pronounced all the judgments of your mouth.
14 Nella pratica dei tuoi precetti ho trovata la mia gioia, come nel possesso d'ogni ricchezza.	14 I have been delighted in the way of your testimonies, as if in all riches.
15 Voglio esercitarmi nei tuoi comandamenti e considerare le tue vie.	15 I will be trained in your commandments, and I will consider your ways.
16 Mediterò le tue leggi, non dimenticherò le tue parole.	16 I will meditate on your justifications. I will not forget your words.
17 Fa questa grazia al tuo servo:di vivere per mettere in pratica le tue parole.	17 GHIMEL. Repay your servant, revive me; and I will keep your words.
18 Togli il velo dai miei occhi, ond'io possa contemplare le maraviglie della tua legge.	18 Reveal to my eyes, and I will consider the wonders of your law.
19 Io son pellegrino sulla terra: non mi nascondere i tuoi comandamenti.	19 I am a sojourner on the earth. Do not hide your commandments from me.
20 L'anima mia si è consumatadalla brama delle tue leggi in ogni tempo.	20 My soul has longed to desire your justifications at all times.
21 Tu hai minacciati i superbi, maledetti quelli che si allontanano dai tuoi precetti.	21 You have rebuked the arrogant. Those who decline from your commandments are accursed.
22 Allontana da me l'obbrobrio e il disprezzo, perchè ho ricercatii tuoi insegnamenti.	22 Take me away from disgrace and contempt, for I have sought your testimonies.
23 Anche quando i principi simettevano a sedere e parlavano contro di me, il tuo servo meditava le tue leggi.	23 For even the leaders sat and spoke against me. But your servant has been trained in your justifications.
24 Infatti i tuoi insegnamenti son la mia meditazione, i tuoi statuti sono i miei consiglieri.	24 For your testimonies are also my meditation, and your justifications are my counsel.
25 L'anima mia è prostesa al suolo, rendimi la vita secondo la tua parola.	25 DALETH. My soul has adhered to the pavement. Revive me according to your word.
26 Ti ho fatto conoscer la mia condotta, e tu m'hai esaudito: insegnami le tue leggi.	26 I have declared my ways, and you have heeded me. Teach me your justifications.
27 Fammi conoscere la via dei tuoi ordini, e contemplerò le tue maraviglie.	27 Instruct me in the way of your justifications, and I will be trained in your wonders.
28 S'è assopita dal tedio l'anima mia; tu fortificami colla tua parola.	28 My soul has slumbered because of weariness. Confirm me in your words.
29 Allontana da me la via dell'iniquità, e accordami la grazia della tua legge.	29 Remove the way of iniquity from me, and have mercy on me by your law.
30 Ho scelto la via della verità, non mi sono dimenticato dei tuoi giudizi.	30 I have chosen the way of truth. I have not forgotten your judgments.
31 Mi son tenuto ai tuoi insegnamenti, o Signore, fa ch'io non ne abbia ad arrossire.	31 I have adhered to your testimonies, O Lord. Do not be willing to confound me.
32 Corsi per la via dei tuoi comandamenti, quando mi allargasti il cuore.	32 I have run by way of your commandments, when you enlarged my heart.
33 Imponimi come norma la via dei tuoi statuti, ed io la seguirò per sempre.	33 HE. O Lord, place the law before me, the way of your justifications, and I will always inquire into it.
34 Dammi intelligenza e studierò attentamente la tua legge, e la metterò in pratica con tutto il mio cuore.	34 Give me understanding, and I will examine your law. And I will keep it with my whole heart.
35 Conducimi pel sentiero dei tuoi comandamenti, perchè è il mio desiderio.	35 Lead me according to the path of your commandments, for I have desired this.
36 Inclina il mio cuore verso i tuoi insegnamenti e non verso l'avidità del guadagno.	36 Bend my heart with your testimonies, and not with avarice.
37 Distogli i miei occhi dal guardare la vanità, fammi vivere nella tua via.	37 Turn my eyes away, lest they see what is vain. Revive me in your way.
38 Conferma al tuo servo la tua parola col tuo timore.	38 Station your eloquence with your servant, along with your fear.
39 Tien lungi da me l'obbrobrio che pavento, perchè soavi sono i tuoi ordini.	39 Cut off my disgrace, which I have taken up, for your judgments are delightful.
40 Ecco, ho desiderato i tuoi comandamenti: nella tua equità dammi la vita.	40 Behold, I have longed for your commandments. Revive me in your fairness.
41 E venga sopra di me la tua misericordia, o Signore, venga da te la salvezza secondo la tua parola.	41 VAU. And let your mercy overwhelm me, O Lord: your salvation according to your eloquence.
42 E potrò rispondere a chi mi oltraggia, perchè nella tua parola ho posta la mia speranza.	42 And I will respond to those who reproach me by word, for I have hoped in your words.
43 E non togliere del tutto dalla mia bocca la parola di verità, perchè ho riposta tutta la mia speranza nei tuoi giudizi.	43 And do not utterly take away the word of truth from my mouth. For in your judgments, I have hoped beyond hope.
44 Osserverò sempre la tua legge, nei secoli e nei secoli dei secoli.	44 And I will always keep your law, in this age and forever and ever.
45 Io camminerò al largo chè cercherò con cura i tuoi comandamenti.	45 And I have wandered far and wide, because I was seeking your commandments.
46 E parlerò dei tuoi insegnamenti al cospetto dei re senza averne rossore.	46 And I spoke of your testimonies in the sight of kings, and I was not confounded.
47 E mediterò i tuoi precetti, da me amati.	47 And I meditated on your commandments, which I loved.
48 Ed alzerò le mie mani ai tuoi comandamenti da me amati, meditando le tue leggi.	48 And I lifted up my hands to your commandments, which I loved. And I was trained in your justifications.
49 Ricordati della parola data al tuo servo, sulla quale m'hai fatto sperare.	49 ZAIN. Be mindful of your word to your servant, by which you have given me hope.
50 Essa fu di mio conforto nelle mie umiliazioni, perchè la tua parola mi ridà la vita.	50 This has consoled me in my humiliation, for your word has revived me.
51 I superbi agiscono perversamente fino all'ultimo; ma io non mi sono allontanato dalla tua legge.	51 The arrogant act altogether iniquitously, but I have not turned aside from your law.
52 Ho ricordati i tuoi giudizi, così antichi, o Signore, e sono stato consolato.	52 I called to mind your judgments of antiquity, O Lord, and I was consoled.
53 Mi son consumato nel vedere i peccatori che abbandonano la tua legge.	53 Faintness has taken hold of me, because of the sinners, those who abandon your law.
54 Le tue leggi sono i miei cariti nel luogo del mio pellegrinaggio.	54 Your justifications were the subject of my worthy singing, in the place of my pilgrimage.
55 Del tuo nome mi son ricordato la notte, o Signore, ed ho osservata la tua legge.	55 During the night, I remembered your name, O Lord, and I kept your law.
56 E questo m'è accaduto, perchè ho cercate le tue leggi.	56 This has happened to me because I sought your justifications.
57 Il Signore è la mia porzione: ho detto d'osservare la tua legge.	57 HETH. O Lord, my portion, I have said that I would keep your law.
58 Prego alla tua presenza con tutto il mio cuore: abbi pietà di me secondo la tua parola.	58 I have beseeched your face with my whole heart. Be merciful to me according to your word.
59 Ho esaminata la mia condotta, ed ho rivolti i miei passi ai tuoi insegnamenti.	59 I have considered my ways, and I have turned my feet toward your testimonies.
60 Son pronto, senza esitazioni, a mettere in pratica i tuoi precetti.	60 I have been prepared, and I have not been disturbed, so that I may keep your commandments.
61 Mi hanno stretto da ogni parte i lacci dei peccatori, ma non ho dimenticata la tua legge.	61 The ropes of the impious have encircled me, and I have not forgotten your law.
62 A mezzanotte uso alzarmi per lodarti, a motivo dei decreti della tua giustizia.	62 I arose in the middle of the night to confess to you, over the judgments of your justification.
63 Entro in società con tutti quelli che ti temono e mettono in pratica i tuoi comandamenti.	63 I am a partaker with all those who fear you and who keep your commandments.
64 O Signore, la terra è piena della tua misericordia, insegnami le tue leggi.	64 The earth, O Lord, is full of your mercy. Teach me your justifications.
65 Tu hai trattato con bontà il tuo servo, o Signore, secondo la tua parola.	65 TETH. You have done well with your servant, O Lord, according to your word.
66 Insegnami la bontà, la disciplina e la scienza, perchè io ho fede nei tuoi comandamenti.	66 Teach me goodness and discipline and knowledge, for I have trusted your commandments.
67 Prima d'essere umiliato mancai, ma dopo questo ho custodita la tua parola.	67 Before I was humbled, I committed offenses; because of this, I have kept to your word.
68 Tu sei buono: nella tua bontà insegnami le tue leggi.	68 You are good, so in your goodness teach me your justifications.
69 E' cresciuta contro di me l'iniquità dei superbi, ma io con tutto il mio cuore studierò i tuoi comand amenti.	69 The iniquity of the arrogant has been multiplied over me. Yet I will examine your commandments with all my heart.
70 Il loro cuore si è accagliato come il latte, ma io ho meditata la tua legge.	70 Their heart has been curdled like milk. Truly, I have meditated on your law.
71 Fu per me un bene l'avermi tu umiliato, per farmi imparare i tuoi statuti.	71 It is good for me that you humbled me, so that I may learn your justifications.
72 Meglio è per me la legge della tua bocca che migliaia di monete d'oro e di argento.	72 The law of your mouth is good for me, beyond thousands of gold and silver pieces.
73 Le tue mani m'han fatto e m'han formato: dammi intelligenza per imparare i tuoi comandamenti.	73 IOD. Your hands have created me and formed me. Give me understanding, and I will learn your commandments.
74 Quelli che ti temono, vedendomi, si rallegreranno, perchè io ho riposta ogni mia speranza nelle tue parole.	74 Those who fear you will see me, and they will rejoice. For I have greatly hoped in your words.
75 Ho riconosciuto, o Signore, che i tuoi giudizi son giusti, e che mi hai umiliato, perchè sei fedele.	75 I know, O Lord, that your judgments are fairness. And in your truth, you have humbled me.
76 Venga la tua misericordia a consolarmi, secondo la promessa fatta al tuo servo.	76 Let it be your mercy that consoles me, according to your eloquence to your servant.
77 Vengano le tue misericordie a darmi vita, perche la tua legge è oggetto della mia meditazione.	77 Let your compassion draw near to me, and I will live. For your law is my meditation.
78 Sian confusi i superbi che ingiustamente mi opprimono, ma io mediterò i tuoi comandamenti.	78 Let the arrogant be confounded, for unjustly they have done iniquity to me. But I will be trained in your commandments.
79 Si rivolgano a me quelli che ti temono e conoscono i tuoi insegnamenti.	79 Let those who fear you turn to me, along with those who know your testimonies.
80 Sia il mio cuore senza macchia nelle tue leggi, ond'io non resti confuso.	80 Let my heart be immaculate in your justifications, so that I may not be confounded.
81 Si strugge l'anima mia nel­l'attesa del tuo soccorso, ma ho riposta ogni mia speranza nella tua parola.	81 CAPH. My soul has faltered in your salvation, yet in your word, I have hoped beyond hope.
82 Si sono stancati i miei occhi nell'aspettare quanto hai pro­messo, dicendo: « Quando mi consolerai? »	82 My eyes have failed in your eloquence, saying, “When will you console me?”
83 Sebbene io sia diventato comeotre esposto alla brina, non mi son dimenticato delle tue leggi.	83 For I have become like a wineskin in the frost. I have not forgotten your justifications.
84 Quanti sono i giorni del tuoservo? Quando farai giustizia dei miei persecutori?	84 How many are the days of your servant? When will you bring judgment against those who persecute me?
85 Gl'iniqui mi raccontarono delle favole, ma non secondo la tua legge.	85 The iniquitous have spoken fables to me. But these are unlike your law.
86 Tutti i tuoi comandamentison verità: mi perseguitano ingiustamente: aiutami.	86 All your commandments are truth. They have been persecuting me unjustly: assist me.
87 Per poco non mi han fatto sparire dalla terra, ma io non ho abbandonato i tuoi comandamenti.	87 They have nearly consumed me on earth. Yet I have not forsaken your commandments.
88 Nella tua misericordia dammi vita, e metterò in pratica gl'in­segnamenti della tua bocca.	88 Revive me according to your mercy. And I will keep the testimonies of your mouth.
89 In eterno, o Signore, la tua parola sta fissa nei cieli.	89 LAMED. O Lord, your word remains firm in heaven, for all eternity.
90 La tua verità è per tutte le generazioni: tu hai fondata la terra ed essa dura.	90 Your truth is from generation to generation. You have founded the earth, and it remains firm.
91 In virtù dei tuoi ordini continua il giorno, perchè tutte le cose sono a te soggette.	91 By your ordinance, the day perseveres. For all things are in service to you.
92 Se la tua legge non fosse stata la mia meditazione, allora forse nella mia umiliazione sarei perito.	92 If your law had not been my meditation, then perhaps I would have perished in my humiliation.
93 Non dimenticherò in eterno le tue leggi, perchè con esse mi hai ridata la vita.	93 I will not forget your justifications, for eternity. For by them, you have enlivened me.
94 Io sono tuo: salvami, perchè ho ricercati i tuoi ordini.	94 I am yours. Accomplish my salvation. For I have inquired into your justifications.
95 Gli empi mi aspettaron per rovinarmi, ma io ho capito i tuoi insegnamenti.	95 The sinners have waited for me, in order to destroy me. I have understood your testimonies.
96 A tutte le cose perfette ho visto un limite, ma il tuo precetto è senza confini.	96 I have seen the end of the consummation of all things. Your commandment is exceedingly broad.
97 Quanto mi è cara, o Signore, la tua legge! La medito tutto il giorno.	97 MEM. How have I loved your law, O Lord? It is my meditation all day long.
98 Mi hai reso prudente più dei miei nemici col tuo precetto, che io tengo davanti in eterno.	98 By your commandment, you have made me able to see far, beyond my enemies. For it is with me for eternity.
99 Ho capito più di tutti i miei maestri, perchè i tuoi insegnamenti son la mia meditazione.	99 I have understood beyond all my teachers. For your testimonies are my meditation.
100 Ho capito più dei vecchi, perchè ho ricercati i tuoi comandamenti.	100 I have understood beyond the elders. For I have searched your commandments.
101 Da ogni cattiva strada ritenni i miei passi, per metter in pratica le tue parole.	101 I have prohibited my feet from every evil way, so that I may keep your words.
102 Non mi allontanai dai tuoi ordini, perchè tu mi desti la norma.	102 I have not declined from your judgments, because you have stationed a law for me.
103 Quanto son dolci al mio palato le tue parole: son più dolci del miele per la mia bocca!	103 How sweet is your eloquence to my palate, more so than honey to my mouth!
104 Avendomi i tuoi comandamenti fatto accorto, ho in odio ogni via d'iniquità.	104 I obtained understanding by your commandments. Because of this, I have hated every way of iniquity.
105 Sia tua parola è lampada ai miei passi e luce nel mio cammino.	105 NUN. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my paths.
106 Ho giurato e stabilito d'osservare i decreti della tua giustizia.	106 I have sworn it, and so I am determined to keep the judgments of your justice.
107 Sono oltremodo umiliato, o Signore, donami lo, vita secondo la tua parola.	107 I have been altogether humbled, Lord. Revive me according to your word.
108 Gradisci, o Signore, le spontanee offerte della mia bocca, e fammi conoscere i tuoi ordini.	108 Make the willing offerings of my mouth well pleasing, Lord, and teach me your judgments.
109 L'anima mia è sempre nelle mie mani, ma non ho dimenticata la tua legge.	109 My soul is always in my hands, and I have not forgotten your law.
110 I peccatori mi tesero il laccio, ma io non mi al lontanai dalla via dei tuoi precetti.	110 Sinners have set a snare for me, yet I have not strayed from your commandments.
111 Come eterna mia eredità ho fatto acquisto dei tuoi insegnamenti, perchè son la gioia del mio cuore.	111 I have acquired your testimonies as an inheritance unto eternity, because they are the exultation of my heart.
112 Ho piegato il mio cuore ad eseguire le tue leggi in eterno, per amore della ricompensa.	112 I have inclined my heart to do your justifications for eternity, as a recompense.
113 Odio gl'iniqui, ed amo la tua legge.	113 SAMECH. I have hated the iniquitous, and I have loved your law.
114 Tu sei il mio aiuto, il mio sostegno, ed io ho riposta ogni mia speranza nella tua parola.	114 You are my helper and my supporter. And in your word, I have greatly hoped.
115 Lungi da me, o malvagi, io voglio mettere ogni mio studio nei comandamenti del mio Dio.	115 Turn away from me, you malignant ones. And I will examine the commandments of my God.
116 Sorreggimi, secondo la tua parola, e avrò vita, e fa che non resti deluso nella mia speranza.	116 Uphold me according to your eloquence, and I will live. And let me not be confounded in my expectation.
117 Aiutami e sarò salvo, e mediterò sempre le tue leggi.	117 Help me, and I will be saved. And I will meditate always on your justifications.
118 Tu disprezzi tutti coloro che si allontanano dai tuoi decreti, perchè il loro pensiero è ingiusto.	118 You have despised all those who fell away from your judgments. For their intention is unjust.
119 Ho riputati prevaricatori tutti i malvagi della terra, perchè ho amati i tuoi insegnamenti.	119 I have considered all the sinners of the earth to be transgressors. Therefore, I have loved your testimonies.
120 Trafiggi col tuo timore le mie carni, perchè mi spavento davanti ai tuoi giudizi.	120 Pierce my flesh with your fear, for I am afraid of your judgments.
121 Ho fatto ciò che è giusto e retto: non mi dare in potere dei miei calunniatori.	121 AIN. I have accomplished judgment and justice. Do not hand me over to those who slander me.
122 Aiuta al bene il tuo servo, e non ne calunnino i superbi.	122 Uphold your servant in what is good. And do not allow the arrogant to slander me.
123 Gli occhi miei si sono stancati nell'attesa del tuo soccorso e della promessa della tua giustizia.	123 My eyes have failed in your salvation and in the eloquence of your justice.
124 Tratta il tuo servo secondo la sua misericordia, e insegnami le tue leggi.	124 Deal with your servant according to your mercy, and teach me your justifications.
125 Io son tuo servo: dammi intelligenza per intendere i tuoi insegnamenti.	125 I am your servant. Give me understanding, so that I may know your testimonies.
126 E' tempo d'agire, o Signore, han rovinata la tua legge.	126 It is time to act, O Lord. They have dissipated your law.
127 Siccome ho amati i tuoi comandamenti più dell'oro e dei topazi,	127 Therefore, I have loved your commandments beyond gold and topaz.
128 Per questo mi sono diretto secondo tutti i tuoi precetti, ed ho avuto in odio ogni via iniqua.	128 Because of this, I was directed toward all your commandments. I held hatred for every iniquitous way.
129 Son maravigliosi i tuoi insegnamenti, per questo l'anima mia li ha studiati attentamente.	129 PHE. Your testimonies are wonderful. Therefore, my soul has been examined by them.
130 La spiegazione delle tue parole illumina, e dà intelligenza ai piccoli.	130 The declaration of your words illuminates, and it gives understanding to little ones.
131 Apro la mia bocca e sospiro, perchè desidero i tuoi comandamenti.	131 I opened my mouth and drew breath, for I desired your commandments.
132 Volgi a me il tuo sguardo ed abbi pietà di me, come è giusto verso quelli che amano il tuo nome.	132 Gaze upon me and be merciful to me, according to the judgment of those who love your name.
133 Guida i miei passi secondo la tua parola e nessuna ingiustizia abbia su me dominio.	133 Direct my steps according to your eloquence, and let no injustice rule over me.
134 Liberami dalle calunnie degli uomini, in modo che possa mettere in pratica i tuoi comandamenti.	134 Redeem me from the slanders of men, so that I may keep your commandments.
135 Fa risplendere il tuo volto sopra il tuo servo e insegnami le tue leggi.	135 Make your face shine upon your servant, and teach me your justifications.
136 I miei occhi han versato torrenti di lacrime, per non avere osservata la tua legge.	136 My eyes have gushed like springs of water, because they have not kept your law.
137 Tu sei giusto, o Signore e retti sono i tuoi giudizi.	137 SADE. You are just, O Lord, and your judgment is right.
138 Tu hai imposta una legge di giustizia con somma fedeltà.	138 You have commanded justice: your testimonies and your truth even more so.
139 Il mio zelo mi ha consumato, perchè i miei nemici han dimenticate le tue parole.	139 My zeal has caused me to pine away, because my enemies have forgotten your words.
140 La tua parola è provata e riprovata, col fuoco, e il tuo servo l'ha cara.	140 Your eloquence has been greatly enflamed, and your servant has loved it.
141 Io son piccolo e disprezzato, ma non mi son dimenticato dei tuoi ordini.	141 I am young and treated with contempt. But I have not forgotten your justifications.
142 La tua giustizia è giustizia eterna, e la tua legge è verità.	142 Your justice is justice for all eternity, and your law is truth.
143 Mi hanno incolto le tribolazioni e le angustie, ma i tuoi comandamenti son la mia meditazione.	143 Tribulation and anguish have found me. Your commandments are my meditation.
144 I tuoi insegnamenti son giusti in eterno, dammi intelligenza, ed avrò vita.	144 Your testimonies are fairness unto eternity. Give me understanding, and I will live.
145 Io grido con tutto il mio cuo­re: esaudiscimi, o Signore, voglio osservare i tuoi statuti.	145 COPH. I cried out with my whole heart. Heed me, O Lord. I will ask for your justifications.
146 Grido a te: salvami, perchè possa mettere in pratica i tuoi comandamenti.	146 I cried out to you. Save me, so that I may keep your commandments.
147 Prevenendo il mattino alzo il mio grido, perchè nelle tue parole ho riposta ogni mia speranza.	147 I arrived first in maturity, and so I cried out. For in your words, I have hoped beyond hope.
148 I miei occhi vengono a te avanti l'alba, per meditare le tue parole.	148 My eyes preceded the dawn for you, so that I might meditate on your eloquence.
149 Secondo la tua misericordia ascolta la mia voce, e conforme al tuo giudizio dammi la vita.	149 Hear my voice according to your mercy, O Lord. And revive me according to your judgment.
150 I miei persecutori si son avvicinati all'iniquità e si son allontanati dalla tua legge.	150 Those who persecute me have drawn near to iniquity, but they been brought far from your law.
151 Mi stai vicino tu, o Signore, e tutte le tue vie son verità.	151 You are near, O Lord, and all your ways are truth.

155 La salvezza è lungi dai peccatori, perchè non ricercano le tue leggi.	155 Salvation is far from sinners, because they have not inquired about your justifications.
156 Le tue misericordie son molte, o Signore, secondo la tua giustizia ridonami la vita.	156 Many are your mercies, O Lord. Enliven me according to your judgment.
157 Son molti quelli che mi perseguitano e mi affliggono, ma io non ho deviato dai tuoi insegnamenti .	157 Many are those who persecute me and who trouble me. I have not turned away from your testimonies.
158 Nel vedere i prevaricatori mi consumo, perchè non mettono in pratica le tue parole.	158 I saw the prevaricators, and I pine away. For they have not kept your word.
159 Guarda. o Signore, come io ho amati i tuoi comandamenti: nella tua misericordia dammi la vita.	159 O Lord, see how I have loved your commandments. Revive me in your mercy.
160 Principio delle tue parole è la verità, ogni decreto della tua giustizia è eterno.	160 The beginning of your words is truth. All the judgments of your justice are for eternity.
161 I principi m'han perseguitato senza ragione, ma il mio cuore ha temute le tue parole.	161 SIN. The leaders have persecuted me without cause. And my heart has been awed by your words.
162 Io m'allieto della tua parola, come chi ha, trovato ricche spoglie. .	162 I will rejoice over your eloquence, like one who has found many spoils.
163 Ho avuto in odio l'iniquità e l'ho in abbominio, ed ho amata la tua legge.	163 I have held hatred for iniquity, and I have abhorred it. Yet I have loved your law.
164 Sette volte al giorno uso cantare le tue lodi, per i decreti della tua giustizia.	164 Seven times a day, I uttered praise to you about the judgments of your justice.
165 Godon molta pace quelli che amano la tua legge, e per essi non c'è scandalo.	165 Those who love your law have great peace, and there is no scandal for them.
166 Io m'attendo da te la salvezza, o Signore, ed amo i tuoi comandamenti.	166 I have waited for your salvation, O Lord. And I have loved your commandments.
167 L'anima mia ha messi in pratica i tuoi insegnamenti, e li ha amati ardentemente.	167 My soul has kept to your testimonies and has loved them exceedingly.
168 Ho osservato i tuoi precetti e i tuoi insegnamenti, perchè tutte le mie vie son davanti ai tuoi occhi.	168 I have served your commandments and your testimonies. For all my ways are before your sight.
169 Giunga la mia preghiera dinanzi a te, o Signore, secondo la tua parola, dammi intelligenza.	169 TAU. O Lord, let my supplication draw near in your sight. Grant understanding to me according to your eloquence.
170 Sia accolta la mia domanda al tuo cospetto, liberami secondo la tua promessa.	170 Let my petition enter before you. Rescue me according to your word.
171 Dalle mie labbra eromperà un cantico, quando m'avrai insegnate le tue leggi.	171 A hymn will burst forth from my lips, when you will teach me your justifications.
172 La mia lingua annunzierà la tua parola, perchè tutti i tuoi comandamenti son giusti.	172 My tongue will pronounce your eloquence. For all your commandments are fairness.
173 Sia stesa la tua mano a salvarmi, perchè ho preferiti i tuoi ordini.	173 Let it be your hand that saves me. For I have chosen your commandments.
174 Io bramo la salvezza da te, o Signore, e la tua legge è la mia meditazione.	174 O Lord, I have longed for your salvation, and your law is my meditation.
175 Viva l'anima mia e ti lodi, e i tuoi giudizi mi aiutino.	175 My soul will live and will praise you, and your judgments will assist me.
176 Sono andato errando qual pecorella smarrita: cerca il tuo servo, perchè non mi son dimenticato dei tuoi comandamenti.	176 I have gone astray like a sheep that is lost. Seek out your servant, for I have not forgotten your commandments.
