BIBBIA TINTORI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Felice l'uomo che teme il Signore e pone nei suoi comandamenti ogni suo diletto.	1 Al eluia! I give thanks to Yahweh with al my heart, in the meeting-place of honest people, in theassembly.
2 Potente sulla terra sarà la sua stirpe; la progenie dei giusti sarà benedetta.	2 Great are the deeds of Yahweh, to be pondered by al who delight in them.
3 Gloria e ricchezze saran nella sua casa, e la giustizia di lui rimane nei secoli dei secoli.	3 Ful of splendour and majesty his work, his saving justice stands firm for ever.
4 Per gli uomini retti sorge fra le tenebre come luce il misericordioso, il benigno, il giusto.	4 He gives us a memorial of his great deeds; Yahweh is mercy and tenderness.
5 Fortunato l'uomo che è pietoso e presta: regolerà i suoi affari con senno,	5 He gives food to those who fear him, he keeps his covenant ever in mind.
6 Perchè non si turberà mai.	6 His works show his people his power in giving them the birthright of the nations.
7 Il giusto sarà ricordato in eterno, nè avrà da temere cattiva fama, il suo cuore è disposto a sperare nel Signore,	7 The works of his hands are fidelity and justice, al his precepts are trustworthy,
8 Il suo cuore è saldo e senza paura, e giungerà a guardar dall'alto i suoi nemici.	8 established for ever and ever, accomplished in fidelity and honesty.
9 A piene mani ha dato ai poveri, la sua giustizia rimane in eterno, la sua potenza si alzerà fino alla gloria.	9 Deliverance he sends to his people, his covenant he imposes for ever; holy and awesome his name.
10 Il peccatore al vederlo ne avrà dispetto, digrignerà i denti e si roderà; ma il desiderio degli empi andrà in fumo.	10 The root of wisdom is fear of Yahweh; those who attain it are wise. His praise wil continue for ever.
