Geremia 30

BIBBIA RICCIOTTI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 - Questa è la parola, che il Signore comunicò a Geremia, dicendogli:	1 The word which came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, as follows,
2 «Il Signore Dio d'Israele dice così: - Scriviti in un libro tutte le parole, che ho detto a te.	2 'Yahweh, God of Israel, says this, "Write for yourself in a book al the words I have spoken to you.
3 Ecco che i giorni giungono, dice il Signore, e ricondurrò al rimpatrio il mio popolo d'Israele e di Giuda, dice il Signore, e li ricondurrò alla terra che ho data ai loro padri e la possederanno -».	3 For look, the days are coming, Yahweh declares, when I shal bring back the captives of my peopleIsrael (and Judah), Yahweh says. I shall make them come back and take possession of the country I gave totheir ancestors." '
4 E queste sono le parole che il Signore ha detto a Israele e a Giuda:	4 These are the words Yahweh spoke about Israel (and Judah):
5 «Perchè il Signore dice così: - Abbiamo udito un grido di terrore: c'è lo spavento e non la pace!	5 Yahweh says this: We have heard a cry of panic, of terror, not of peace.
6 Domandate e guardate; sarà mai che un maschio partorisca? perchè dunque ho veduto ogni uomo colle mani attorno ai fianchi, come donna sopra parto e tutti i volti cangiar colore?	6 Now ask and see: can a man bear children? Then why do I see each man with his hands on his loinslike a woman in labour? Why has every face grown pale?
7 Ahi, che gran giorno quello, non ce n'è altro simile, tempo di tribolazione per Giacobbe, ma ne uscirà salvato!.	7 Disaster! This is the great day, no other like it: a time of distress for Jacob, though he will be savedfrom it.
8 E avverrà in quel giorno, dice il Signore degli eserciti, che io spezzerò il suo giogo d'in sul tuo collo e romperò le sue catene e non starà più asservito agli stranieri;	8 (That day, Yahweh Sabaoth declares, I shal break the yoke now on your neck and snap your chains;and foreigners wil enslave you no more,
9 ma serviranno al Signore Dio loro e a David loro re che ad essi io farò sorgere.-	9 but Israel and Judah wil serve Yahweh their God, and David their king whom I shal raise up for them.)
10 Tu dunque non temere, servo mio Giacobbe, dice il Signore, non ti spaventare, o Israele, perchè io trarrò in salvo te dalle terre lontane, e i tuoi discendenti, dalla terra della loro schiavitù, e Giacobbe ritornerà e sarà nella quiete e nell'affluenza di tutti i beni senza più temere di nessuno.	10 So do not be afraid, my servant Jacob, Yahweh declares, Israel, do not be alarmed: for look, I shalrescue you from distant countries and your descendants from the country where they are captive. Jacob wilreturn and be at peace, secure, with no one to trouble him.
11 Perchè io sono con te, dice il Signore, per salvarti; e annienterò tutte le genti tra le quali ti ho disperso, ma te non annienterò, ti darò il castigo che ti meriti, affinchè non ti creda innocente.	11 For I am with you to save you, Yahweh declares, I shal make an end of all the nations where I havedriven you, but I shall not make an end of you, only discipline you in moderation, not to let you go quiteunpunished.
12 Perchè così dice il Signore: - Senza rimedio è la tua ferita, disperata la tua piaga;	12 Yes, Yahweh says this: Your wound is incurable, your injury past healing.
13 nessuno patrocina la tua causa per medicarti; efficacia di rimedi più non hai.	13 There is no one to plead your cause; for an ulcer there are remedies, but for you no cure at al .
14 Tutti i tuoi amanti si sono scordati di te e più non ti cercano, io t'ho percossa con mano nemica, con un crudele castigo, per la enormità della tua colpa, nei tuoi peccati sei giunta all'indurimento.	14 Al your lovers have forgotten you, they look for you no more. Yes, I have struck you as an enemystrikes, with cruel punishment (because of your great guilt and countless sins).
15 Perchè urli sopra la tua sventura, il tuo dolore non ha rimedio? A causa dell'enormità delle tue colpe e per l'indurimento nei tuoi peccati, io t'ho fatto questo.	15 Why cry out because of your wound? Your pain is incurable! Because of your great guilt andcountless sins, I have treated you like this.
16 Ma però tutti coloro che ti divorano saranno divorati, e tutti i tuoi nemici saranno menati in schiavitù, e coloro che ti devastano saranno devastati e tutti i tuoi depredatori li darò in preda ad altri.	16 But al those who devoured you wil be devoured, al your enemies, al , go into captivity, those whodespoiled you will be despoiled, and al who pillaged you be pil aged.
17 Ed io salderò la tua cicatrice e ti guarirò delle tue ferite, dice il Signore, perchè reietta chiamarono te, o Sion. È questa, dissero, che non aveva più chi la ricercasse. -	17 For I shal restore you to health and heal your wounds, Yahweh declares, you who used to be called'Outcast', 'Zion for whom no one cares'.
18 Così dice il Signore: - Ecco che io ricondurrò al rimpatrio i padiglioni di Giacobbe e dei loro tetti avrò pietà; la città sarà riedificata sulle sue alture e il tempio ricostituito nella medesima maniera.	18 Yahweh says this: Look, I shal restore the tents of Jacob and take pity on his dwel ings: the town wilbe rebuilt on its mound, the stronghold where it ought to stand.
19 E uscirà da loro un cantico di lode e voci giubilanti, e li moltiplicherò e non diminueranno più, e li glorificherò e più non saranno menomati.	19 From them wil come thanksgiving and shouts of joy. I shal make them increase, they wil notdecrease; I shal make them honoured, no more to be humbled.
20 E i loro figli saranno come per l'addietro e la loro assemblea permanente nel mio cospetto, e tutti coloro che li opprimono io li visiterò.	20 Their sons wil be as once they were, their community fixed firmly before me, and I shal punish alltheir oppressors.
21 E il suo condottiero sarà dei suoi e il suo sovrano verrà fuor d'in seno a lui; io lo avvicinerò a me, egli mi starà d'accanto, perchè chi è tale per mettersi in cuore d'accostarsi a me, dice il Signore?	21 Their prince wil be one of their own, their ruler come from their own people, and I shal permit him toapproach me freely; for who, otherwise, would be so bold as to approach me, Yahweh demands?
22 E voi sarete il mio popolo ed io sarò il vostro Dio.	22 You wil be my people and I shal be your God.
23 Ecco il turbine del Signore, l'ira furibonda che si scatena, la tempesta impetuosa che piomba sopra il capo degli empi.	23 Look, Yahweh's hurricane, his wrath, bursts out, a roaring hurricane, to burst on the heads of thewicked;
24 Non ritirerà l'ira corrucciosa il Signore fin a tanto che abbia eseguito e compiuto i disegni del suo cuore, voi li comprenderete negli ultimi giorni -».	24 Yahweh's burning anger wil not turn aside until he has performed, has carried out, what he has inmind. In the final days, you wil understand this.
