Geremia 30

1 - Questa è la parola, che il Signore comunicò a Geremia, dicendogli:	1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
2 «Il Signore Dio d'Israele dice così: - Scriviti in un libro tutte le parole, che ho detto a te.	2 Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
3 Ecco che i giorni giungono, dice il Signore, e ricondurrò al rimpatrio il mio popolo d'Israele e di Giuda, dice il Signore, e li ricondurrò alla terra che ho data ai loro padri e la possederanno -».	3 For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
4 E queste sono le parole che il Signore ha detto a Israele e a Giuda:	4 And these are the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah.
5 «Perchè il Signore dice così: - Abbiamo udito un grido di terrore: c'è lo spavento e non la pace!	5 For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.
6 Domandate e guardate; sarà mai che un maschio partorisca? perchè dunque ho veduto ogni uomo colle mani attorno ai fianchi, come donna sopra parto e tutti i volti cangiar colore?	6 Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
7 Ahi, che gran giorno quello, non ce n'è altro simile, tempo di tribolazione per Giacobbe, ma ne uscirà salvato!.	7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.
8 E avverrà in quel giorno, dice il Signore degli eserciti, che io spezzerò il suo giogo d'in sul tuo collo e romperò le sue catene e non starà più asservito agli stranieri;	8 For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him:
9 ma serviranno al Signore Dio loro e a David loro re che ad essi io farò sorgere.-	9 But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.
10 Tu dunque non temere, servo mio Giacobbe, dice il Signore, non ti spaventare, o Israele, perchè io trarrò in salvo te dalle terre lontane, e i tuoi discendenti, dalla terra della loro schiavitù, e Giacobbe ritornerà e sarà nella quiete e nell'affluenza di tutti i beni senza più temere di nessuno.	10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.
11 Perchè io sono con te, dice il Signore, per salvarti; e annienterò tutte le genti tra le quali ti ho disperso, ma te non annienterò, ti darò il castigo che ti meriti, affinchè non ti creda innocente.	11 For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
12 Perchè così dice il Signore: - Senza rimedio è la tua ferita, disperata la tua piaga;	12 For thus saith the LORD, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous.
13 nessuno patrocina la tua causa per medicarti; efficacia di rimedi più non hai.	13 There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines.
14 Tutti i tuoi amanti si sono scordati di te e più non ti cercano, io t'ho percossa con mano nemica, con un crudele castigo, per la enormità della tua colpa, nei tuoi peccati sei giunta all'indurimento.	14 All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased.
15 Perchè urli sopra la tua sventura, il tuo dolore non ha rimedio? A causa dell'enormità delle tue colpe e per l'indurimento nei tuoi peccati, io t'ho fatto questo.	15 Why criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.
16 Ma però tutti coloro che ti divorano saranno divorati, e tutti i tuoi nemici saranno menati in schiavitù, e coloro che ti devastano saranno devastati e tutti i tuoi depredatori li darò in preda ad altri.	16 Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.
17 Ed io salderò la tua cicatrice e ti guarirò delle tue ferite, dice il Signore, perchè reietta chiamarono te, o Sion. È questa, dissero, che non aveva più chi la ricercasse. -	17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
18 Così dice il Signore: - Ecco che io ricondurrò al rimpatrio i padiglioni di Giacobbe e dei loro tetti avrò pietà; la città sarà riedificata sulle sue alture e il tempio ricostituito nella medesima maniera.	18 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.
19 E uscirà da loro un cantico di lode e voci giubilanti, e li moltiplicherò e non diminueranno più, e li glorificherò e più non saranno menomati.	19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
20 E i loro figli saranno come per l'addietro e la loro assemblea permanente nel mio cospetto, e tutti coloro che li opprimono io li visiterò.	20 Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.
21 E il suo condottiero sarà dei suoi e il suo sovrano verrà fuor d'in seno a lui; io lo avvicinerò a me, egli mi starà d'accanto, perchè chi è tale per mettersi in cuore d'accostarsi a me, dice il Signore?	21 And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD.
22 E voi sarete il mio popolo ed io sarò il vostro Dio.	22 And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
23 Ecco il turbine del Signore, l'ira furibonda che si scatena, la tempesta impetuosa che piomba sopra il capo degli empi.	23 Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.
24 Non ritirerà l'ira corrucciosa il Signore fin a tanto che abbia eseguito e compiuto i disegni del suo cuore, voi li comprenderete negli ultimi giorni -».	24 The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.
