Ezechiele 39

BIBBIA CEI 2008	NEW JERUSALEM
1 E tu, figlio dell’uomo, profetizza contro Gog e annuncia: Così dice il Signore Dio: Eccomi contro di te, Gog, capo supremo di Mesec e Tubal.	1 'So, son of man, prophesy against Gog. Say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I am against you,Gog, paramount prince of Meshech and Tubal.
2 Io ti sospingerò e ti condurrò e dagli estremi confini del settentrione ti farò salire e ti porterò sui monti d’Israele.	2 I shal turn you about, lead you on, and bring you from the farthest north against the mountains ofIsrael.
3 Spezzerò l’arco nella tua mano sinistra e farò cadere le frecce dalla tua mano destra.	3 I shal break the bow in your left hand and dash the arrows out of your right.
4 Tu cadrai sui monti d’Israele con tutte le tue schiere e i popoli che sono con te: ti ho destinato in pasto agli uccelli rapaci d’ogni specie e alle bestie selvatiche.	4 You will fal on the mountains of Israel, you, al your troops and the nations with you. I shall make youfood for every kind of bird of prey and wild animals.
5 Tu sarai abbattuto in aperta campagna, perché io ho parlato. Oracolo del Signore Dio.	5 You will fal in the wilds, for I have spoken -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
6 Manderò un fuoco su Magòg e sopra quelli che abitano tranquilli le isole. Sapranno che io sono il Signore.	6 I shal send down fire on Magog and on those living undisturbed in the islands, and they wil know thatI am Yahweh.
7 Farò conoscere il mio nome santo in mezzo al mio popolo Israele, e non permetterò che il mio santo nome sia profanato. Le nazioni sapranno che io sono il Signore, santo in Israele.	7 I shal see that my holy name is acknowledged by my people Israel, and no longer al ow my holy nameto be profaned; and the nations wil know that I am Yahweh, holy in Israel.
8 Ecco, questo avviene e si compie – oracolo del Signore Dio –; è questo il giorno di cui ho parlato.	8 "All this is to happen, al this is to take place -- declares the Lord Yahweh. This is the day I predicted.
9 Gli abitanti delle città d’Israele usciranno e per accendere il fuoco bruceranno armi, scudi grandi e piccoli, e archi e frecce e mazze e giavellotti, e con quelle alimenteranno il fuoco per sette anni.	9 "The inhabitants of the towns of Israel wil go out and set fire to and burn the weapons, the shields andbucklers, bows and arrows, javelins and spears. They wil burn these for seven years
10 Non andranno a prendere la legna nei campi e neppure a tagliarla nei boschi, perché faranno il fuoco con le armi: spoglieranno coloro che li avevano spogliati e deprederanno coloro che li avevano saccheggiati. Oracolo del Signore Dio.	10 and not fetch wood from the countryside or cut it in the forests, since they wil be burning theweapons. They will plunder those who plundered them, and despoil those who despoiled them -- declares theLord Yahweh.
11 In quel giorno assegnerò a Gog come sepolcro un luogo famoso in Israele, la valle di Abarìm, a oriente del mare: essa chiude il passo ai viandanti. Lì sarà sepolto Gog e tutta la sua moltitudine e quel luogo si chiamerà valle della Moltitudine di Gog.	11 "That day, I shall give Gog a famous spot in Israel for his grave, the val ey of the Obarim, east of theSea -- the val ey that halts the travel er -- and there Gog and his whole throng wil be buried, and it wil be cal edthe Val ey of Hamon-Gog.
12 La casa d’Israele darà loro sepoltura per sette mesi per purificare il paese.	12 The House of Israel will take seven months to bury them and cleanse the country.
13 Lì seppellirà tutta la popolazione del paese e sarà per loro glorioso il giorno in cui manifesterò la mia gloria. Oracolo del Signore Dio.	13 Al the people of the country wil dig their graves, thus winning themselves renown, the day when Idisplay my glory -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
14 Saranno scelti uomini che percorreranno di continuo il paese per seppellire con l’aiuto dei viandanti quelli che sono rimasti a fior di terra, per renderla pura; cominceranno le ricerche alla fine del settimo mese.	14 And men wil be detailed to the permanent duty of going through the country and burying those leftabove ground and cleansing it. They wil begin their search once the seven months are over,
15 Quando, percorrendo il paese, vedranno ossa umane, vi porranno un segnale, finché i seppellitori non le sotterrino nella valle della Moltitudine di Gog:	15 and as they go through the country, if one of them sees any human bones, he wil set up a markerbeside them until the gravediggers have buried them in the val ey of Hamon-Gog
16 Amonà sarà chiamata la città. Così purificheranno il paese.	16 (and Hamonah is also the name of a town) and have cleansed the country."
17 A te, figlio dell’uomo, così dice il Signore Dio: Annuncia agli uccelli d’ogni specie e a tutte le bestie selvatiche: Radunatevi, venite; raccoglietevi da ogni parte sul sacrificio che offro a voi, sacrificio grande, sui monti d’Israele. Mangerete carne e berrete sangue;	17 'Son of man, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Say to the birds of every kind and to al the wild animals:Muster, come, gather from everywhere around for the sacrifice I am making for you, a great sacrifice on themountains of Israel, so that you can eat flesh and drink blood.
18 mangerete carne d’eroi, berrete sangue di prìncipi del paese: sono tutti montoni, agnelli, capri e tori grassi di Basan.	18 You wil eat the flesh of heroes, you wil drink the blood of the princes of the world. They are al ramsand lambs, goats and fat bul s of Bashan.
19 Mangerete grasso a sazietà e berrete fino all’ebbrezza il sangue del sacrificio che preparo per voi.	19 You wil glut yourselves on fat and drink yourselves drunk on blood at this sacrifice I am making foryou.
20 Alla mia tavola vi sazierete di cavalli e cavalieri, di eroi e di guerrieri di ogni razza. Oracolo del Signore Dio.	20 You wil glut yourselves at my table on horses and chargers, on heroes and every kind of warrior --declares the Lord Yahweh."
21 Fra le nazioni manifesterò la mia gloria e tutte le nazioni vedranno la giustizia che avrò fatto e la mano che avrò posto su di voi.	21 'I shal display my glory to the nations, and al nations wil see my sentence when I inflict it and myhand when I strike them.
22 La casa d’Israele da quel giorno in poi saprà che io sono il Signore, loro Dio.	22 The House of Israel will know that I am Yahweh their God, from that day forward for ever.
23 Le nazioni sapranno che la casa d’Israele per la sua iniquità era stata condotta in schiavitù, perché si era ribellata a me e io avevo nascosto loro il mio volto e li avevo dati in mano ai loro nemici, perché tutti cadessero di spada.	23 The nations too wil know that the House of Israel were exiled for their guilt; because they wereunfaithful to me, I hid my face from them and put them into the clutches of their enemies, so that they all fel bythe sword.
24 Secondo le loro impurità e le loro trasgressioni io li trattai e nascosi loro la faccia.	24 I treated them as their loathsome acts of infidelity deserved and hid my face from them.
25 Perciò così dice il Signore Dio: Ora io ristabilirò la sorte di Giacobbe, avrò compassione di tutta la casa d’Israele e sarò geloso del mio santo nome.	25 'So, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Now I shal bring Jacob's captives back and take pity on the wholeHouse of Israel and show myself jealous for my holy name.
26 Quando essi abiteranno nella loro terra tranquilli, senza che alcuno li spaventi, si vergogneranno della loro ignominia e di tutte le ribellioni che hanno commesso contro di me.	26 They will forget their disgrace and al the acts of infidelity which they committed against me whenthey were living safely in their own country, with no one to disturb them.
27 Quando io li avrò ricondotti dai popoli e li avrò radunati dalle terre dei loro nemici e avrò mostrato in loro la mia santità, davanti a numerose nazioni,	27 When I bring them home from the peoples, when I gather them back from the countries of theirenemies, when I display my holiness in them for many nations to see,
28 allora sapranno che io sono il Signore, loro Dio, poiché, dopo averli condotti in schiavitù fra le nazioni, li avrò radunati nella loro terra e non ne avrò lasciato fuori neppure uno.	28 they wil know that I am Yahweh their God who, having sent them into exile among the nations, havereunited them in their own country, not leaving a single one behind.
29 Allora non nasconderò più loro il mio volto, perché diffonderò il mio spirito sulla casa d’Israele». Oracolo del Signore Dio.	29 I shal never hide my face from them again, since I shal pour out my spirit on the House of Israel --declares the Lord Yahweh." '
