| 6 sposarono le loro figlie, diedero le loro figlie ai loro figli e servirono i loro dèi. | 6 and they took their daughters to themselves for wives, and their own daughters they gave to their sons; and they served their gods. |

| 29 In quell’occasione batterono i Moabiti, in numero di circa diecimila, tutti robusti e valorosi; non ne scampò uno. | 29 And they killed at that time about ten thousand of the Moabites, all strong, able-bodied men; not a man escaped. |
| 30 In quel giorno Moab fu battuto sotto la mano di Israele e il paese restò in pace per ventiquattro anni. | 30 So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel. And the land had rest for eighty years. |
| 31 Dopo di lui ci fu Shamgar, figlio di Anat. Egli sconfisse i Filistei in numero di seicento uomini con un pungolo di buoi; anch’egli salvò Israele. | 31 After him was Shamgar the son of Anath, who killed six hundred of the Philistines with an oxgoad; and he too delivered Israel. |
