1 Alleluia! Lodate Jahve dai cieli, lodatelo nelle altezze!	1 Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from the heavens; give praise in the heights.
2 Lodatelo voi tutti, o suoi angeli, lodatelo voi tutte, o sue schiere!	2 Praise him, all you angels; give praise, all you hosts.
3 Lodatelo, sole e luna, lodatelo voi tutte, stelle fulgenti!	3 Praise him, sun and moon; give praise, all shining stars.
4 Lodatelo, cieli dei cieli, e le acque sopra i cieli!	4 Praise him, highest heavens, you waters above the heavens.
5 Lodino il nome di Jahve poichè egli ordinò e furono creati.	5 Let them all praise the LORD'S name; for the LORD commanded and they were created,
6 E li stabilì per sempre nei secoli diede un ordine e non passerà.	6 Assigned them duties forever, gave them tasks that will never change.
7 Lodate Jahve dalla terra, mostri e tutti gli abissi!	7 Praise the LORD from the earth, you sea monsters and all deep waters;
8 Fuoco e grandine, neve e fumo, vento di bufera, realizzatore della sua parola.	8 You lightning and hail, snow and clouds, storm winds that fulfill his command;
9 Monti e tutti i colli, alberi da frutto e tutti i cedri.	9 You mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars;
10 Le fiere e tutti gli animali, rettili e uccelli alati.	10 You animals wild and tame, you creatures that crawl and fly;
11 Re della terra e popoli tutti, principi e tutti i giudici della terra.	11 You kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all who govern on earth;
12 I giovani e le vergini, i vecchi con gli infanti.	12 Young men and women too, old and young alike.
13 Lodino il nome di Jahve poichè è esaltato il suo nome, solo esso. La sua maestà sulla terra e nei cieli	13 Let them all praise the LORD'S name, for his name alone is exalted, majestic above earth and heaven.
14 e innalzò il corno al suo popolo. Lode per tutti i suoi pii, per i figli di Israele, popolo di quanti sono vicini a lui. Alleluia!	14 The LORD has lifted high the horn of his people; to the glory of all the faithful, of Israel, the people near to their God. Hallelujah!
