1 Alef Dichosos los que van por camino perfecto, los que proceden en la ley de Yahveh.	1 How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Law of Yahweh!
2 Dichosos los que guardan sus dictámenes, los que le buscan de todo corazón,	2 Blessed are those who observe his instructions, who seek him with all their hearts,
3 y los que, sin cometer iniquidad, andan por sus caminos.	3 and, doing no evil, who walk in his ways.
4 Tú tus ordenanzas promulgaste, para que sean guardadas cabalmente.	4 You lay down your precepts to be careful y kept.
5 ¡Ojalá mis caminos se aseguren para observar tus preceptos!	5 May my ways be steady in doing your wil .
6 Entonces no tendré vergüenza alguna al mirar a todos tus mandamientos.	6 Then I shal not be shamed, if my gaze is fixed on your commandments.
7 Con rectitud de corazón te daré gracias, al aprender tus justos juicios.	7 I thank you with a sincere heart for teaching me your upright judgements.
8 Tus preceptos, los observaré, no me abandones tú del todo.	8 I shal do your will; do not ever abandon me whol y.
9 Bet. ¿Cómo el joven guardará puro su camino? Observando tu palabra.	9 How can a young man keep his way spotless? By keeping your words.
10 De todo corazón ando buscándote, no me desvíes de tus mandamientos.	10 With al my heart I seek you, do not let me stray from your commandments.
11 Dentro del corazón he guardado tu promesa, para no pecar contra ti.	11 In my heart I treasure your promises, to avoid sinning against you.
12 Bendito tú, Yahveh, enséñame tus preceptos.	12 Blessed are you, Yahweh, teach me your wil !
13 Con mis labios he contado todos los juicios de tu boca.	13 With my lips I have repeated al the judgements you have given.
14 En el camino de tus dictámenes me recreo más que en toda riqueza.	14 In the way of your instructions lies my joy, a joy beyond al wealth.
15 En tus ordenanzas quiero meditar y mirar a tus caminos.	15 I will ponder your precepts and fix my gaze on your paths.
16 En tus preceptos tengo mis delicias, no olvido tu palabra.	16 I find my delight in your wil , I do not forget your words.
17 Guímel. Haz merced a tu siervo y viviré. y guardaré tu palabra.	17 Be generous to your servant and I shal live, and shal keep your words.
18 Abre mis ojos para que contemple las maravillas de tu ley.	18 Open my eyes and I shal fix my gaze on the wonders of your Law.
19 Un forastero soy sobre la tierra, tus mandamientos no me ocultes.	19 Wayfarer though I am on the earth, do not hide your commandments from me.
20 Mi alma se consume deseando tus juicios en todo tiempo.	20 My heart is pining away with longing at all times for your judgements.
21 Tú increpas a los soberbios, los malditos, que se desvían de tus mandamientos.	21 You have rebuked the arrogant, the accursed, who stray from your commandments.
22 Echa lejos de mí oprobio y menosprecio, porque he guardado tus dictámenes.	22 Set me free from taunts and contempt since I observe your instructions.
23 Aunque los príncipes hablen en sesión contra mí, tu servidor medita en tus preceptos.	23 Though princes sit plotting against me, your servant keeps pondering your wil .
24 Tus dictámenes hacen mis delicias, mis consejeros, tus preceptos.	24 Your instructions are my delight, your wishes my counsellors.
25 Dálet. Mi alma está pegada al polvo, hazme vivir conforme a tu palabra.	25 Down in the dust I lie prostrate; true to your word, revive me.
26 Mis caminos expuse, y tú me respondiste, enséñame tus preceptos.	26 I tell you my ways and you answer me; teach me your wishes.
27 Hazme entender el camino de tus ordenanzas, y meditaré en tus maravillas.	27 Show me the way of your precepts, that I may reflect on your wonders.
28 Se va en lágrimas mi alma por el tedio, sosténme conforme a tu palabra.	28 I am melting away for grief; true to your word, raise me up.
29 Aléjame del camino de mentira, y dame la gracia de tu ley,	29 Keep me far from the way of deceit, grant me the grace of your Law.
30 He escogido el camino de la lealtad, a tus juicios me conformo.	30 I have chosen the way of constancy, I have moulded myself to your judgements.
31 A tus dictámenes me mantengo adherido, no me confundas, tú, Yahveh.	31 I cling to your instructions, Yahweh, do not disappoint me.
32 Corro por el camino de tus mandamientos, pues tú mi corazón dilatas.	32 I run the way of your commandments, for you have given me freedom of heart.
33 He. Enséñame, Yahveh, el camino de tus preceptos, yo lo quiero guardar en recompensa.	33 Teach me, Yahweh, the way of your will, and I wil observe it.
34 Hazme entender, para guardar tu ley y observarla de todo corazón.	34 Give me understanding and I will observe your Law, and keep it wholeheartedly.
35 Llévame por la senda de tus mandamientos porque mi complacencia tengo en ella.	35 Guide me in the way of your commandments, for my delight is there.
36 Inclina mi corazón hacia tus dictámenes, y no a ganancia injusta.	36 Bend my heart to your instructions, not to selfish gain.
37 Aparta mis ojos de mirar vanidades, por tu palabra vivifícame.	37 Avert my eyes from pointless images, by your word give me life.
38 Mantén a tu siervo tu promesa, que conduce a tu temor.	38 Keep your promise to your servant so that al may hold you in awe.
39 Aparta de mí el oprobio que me espanta, pues son buenos tus juicios.	39 Avert the taunts that I dread, for your judgements are generous.
40 Mira que deseo tus ordenanzas, hazme vivir por tu justicia.	40 See how I yearn for your precepts; in your saving justice give me life.
41 Vau. ¡Llegue hasta mí tu amor, Yahveh, tu salvación, conforme a tu promesa!	41 Let your faithful love come to me, Yahweh, true to your promise, save me!
42 Y daré respuesta al que me insulta, porque confio en tu palabra.	42 Give me an answer to the taunts against me, since I rely on your word.
43 No quites de mi boca la palabra de verdad, porque espero en tus juicios.	43 Do not deprive me of that faithful word, since my hope lies in your judgements.
44 Yo observaré sin descanso tu ley para siempre jamás.	44 I shal keep your Law without fail for ever and ever.
45 Y andaré por camino anchuroso, porque tus ordenanzas voy buscando.	45 I shal live in all freedom because I have sought your precepts.
46 De tus dictámenes hablaré ante los reyes, y no tendré que avergonzarme.	46 I shal speak of your instructions before kings and wil not be shamed.
47 Y me deleitaré en tus mandamientos, que amo mucho.	47 Your commandments fill me with delight, I love them dearly.
48 Tiendo mis manos hacia tus mandamientos, en tus preceptos medito.	48 I stretch out my hands to your commandments that I love, and I ponder your judgements.
49 Zain. Recuerda la palabra dada a tu servidor, de la que has hecho mi esperanza.	49 Keep in mind your promise to your servant on which I have built my hope.
50 Este es mi consuelo en mi miseria: que tu promesa me da vida.	50 It is my comfort in distress, that your promise gives me life.
51 Los soberbios me insultan hasta el colmo, yo no me aparto de tu ley.	51 Endlessly the arrogant have jeered at me, but I have not swerved from your Law.
52 Me acuerdo de tus juicios de otro tiempo, oh Yahveh, y me consuelo.	52 I have kept your age -- old judgements in mind, Yahweh, and I am comforted.
53 Me arrebata el furor por los impíos que abandonan tu ley.	53 Fury grips me when I see the wicked who abandon your Law.
54 Tus preceptos son cantares para mí en mi mansión de forastero.	54 Your judgements are my song where I live in exile.
55 Me acuerdo por la noche de tu nombre, Yahveh, quiero guardar tu ley.	55 Al night, Yahweh, I hold your name in mind, I keep your Law.
56 Esta es mi tarea: guardar tus ordenanzas.	56 This is what it means to me, observing your precepts.
57 Jet. Mi porción, Yahveh, he dicho, es guardar tus palabras.	57 My task, I have said, Yahweh, is to keep your word.
58 Con todo el corazón busco tu favor, tenme piedad conforme a tu promesa.	58 Wholeheartedly I entreat your favour; true to your promise, take pity on me!
59 He examinado mis caminos y quiero volver mis pies a tus dictámenes.	59 I have reflected on my ways, and I turn my steps to your instructions.
60 Me doy prisa y no me tardo en observar tus mandamientos.	60 I hurry without delay to keep your commandments.
61 Las redes de los impíos me aprisionan, yo no olvido tu ley.	61 Though caught in the snares of the wicked, I do not forget your Law.
62 Me levanto a medianoche a darte gracias por tus justos juicios.	62 At midnight I rise to praise you for your upright judgements.
63 Amigo soy de todos los que te temen y observan tus ordenanzas.	63 I am a friend to all who fear you and keep your precepts.
64 De tu amor, Yahveh, está la tierra llena, enséñame tus preceptos.	64 Your faithful love fil s the earth, Yahweh, teach me your judgements.
65 Tet. Has sido generoso con tu siervo, oh Yahveh, conforme a tu palabra.	65 You have been generous to your servant, Yahweh, true to your promise.
66 Cordura y sabiduría enséñame, pues tengo fe en tus mandamientos.	66 Teach me judgement and knowledge, for I rely on your commandments.
67 Antes de ser humillado, me descarriaba, mas ahora observo tu promesa.	67 Before I was punished I used to go astray, but now I keep to your promise.
68 Tú, que eres bueno y bienhechor, enséñame tus preceptos.	68 You are generous and act generously, teach me your wil .
69 Los soberbios me enredan con mentira, yo guardo tus ordenanzas de todo corazón.	69 The arrogant blacken me with lies though I wholeheartedly observe your precepts.
70 Como de grasa su corazón está embotado. mas yo en tu ley tengo mis delicias.	70 Their hearts are gross like rich fat, but my delight is in your Law.
71 Un bien para mí ser humillado, para que aprenda tus preceptos.	71 It was good for me that I had to suffer, the better to learn your judgements.
72 Un bien para mí la ley de tu boca, más que miles de oro y plata.	72 The Law you have uttered is more precious to me than al the wealth in the world.
73 Yod. Tus manos me han hecho y me han formado, hazme entender, y aprenderé tus mandamientos.	73 Your hands have made me and held me firm, give me understanding and I shal learn yourcommandments.
74 Los que te temen me ven con alegría, porque espero en tu palabra.	74 Those who fear you rejoice at the sight of me since I put my hope in your word.
75 Yo sé, Yahveh, que son justos tus juicios, que con lealtad me humillas tú.	75 I know, Yahweh, that your judgements are upright, and in punishing me you show your constancy.
76 Sea tu amor consuelo para mí, según tu promesa a tu servidor.	76 Your faithful love must be my consolation, as you have promised your servant.
77 Me alcancen tus ternuras y viviré, porque tu ley es mi delicia.	77 Treat me with tenderness and I shall live, for your Law is my delight.
78 Sean confundidos los soberbios que me afligen con mentira, yo en tus ordenanzas medito.	78 Let the arrogant who tell lies against me be shamed, while I ponder your precepts.
79 Vuélvanse hacia mí los que te temen, los que conocen tus dictámenes.	79 Let those who fear you rally to me, those who understand your instructions.
80 Sea mi corazón perfecto en tus preceptos, para que no sea confundido.	80 My heart shall be faultless towards your wil ; then I shall not be ashamed.
81 Kaf. En pos de tu salvación mi alma languidece, en tu palabra espero.	81 I shal wear myself out for your salvation, for your word is my hope.
82 Languidecen mis ojos en pos de tu promesa diciendo: «¿Cuándo vas a consolarme?»	82 My eyes, too, are worn out waiting for your promise, when wil you have pity on me?
83 Aun hecho igual que un pellejo que se ahúma, de tus preceptos no me olvido.	83 For I am like a smoked wineskin, but I do not forget your wil .
84 ¿Cuántos serán los días de tu siervo? ¿cuándo harás justicia de mis perseguidores?	84 How long has your servant to live? When wil you bring my persecutors to judgement?
85 Los soberbios han cavado fosas para mí en contra de tu ley.	85 The arrogant have dug pitfalls for me in defiance of your Law.
86 Todos tus mandamientos son verdad, con mentira se me persigue, ¡ayúdame!	86 Al your commandments show constancy. Help me when they pursue me dishonestly.
87 Poco falta para que me borren de la tierra, mas yo tus ordenanzas no abandono.	87 They have almost annihilated me on earth, but I have not deserted your precepts.
88 Según tu amor dame la vida, y guardaré el dictamen de tu boca.	88 True to your faithful love, give me life, and I shal keep the instructions you have laid down.
89 Lámed. Para siempre, Yahveh, tu palabra, firme está en los cielos.	89 For ever, Yahweh, your word is planted firm in heaven.
90 Por todas las edades tu verdad, tú fijaste la tierra, ella persiste.	90 Your constancy endures from age to age; you established the earth and it stands firm.
91 Por tus juicios subsiste todo hasta este día, pues toda cosa es sierva tuya.	91 Through your judgements al stands firm to this day, for al creation is your servant.
92 Si tu ley no hubiera sido mi delicia, ya habría perecido en mi miseria.	92 Had your Law not been my delight, I would have perished in my misery.
93 Jamás olvidaré tus ordenanzas, por ellas tú me das la vida.	93 I shal never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.
94 Tuyo soy, sálvame, pues tus ordenanzas voy buscando.	94 I am yours, save me, for I seek your precepts.
95 Para perderme me acechan los impíos, yo estoy atento a tus dictámenes.	95 The wicked may hope to destroy me, but al my thought is of your instructions.
96 De todo lo perfecto he visto el límite: ¡Qué inmenso es tu mandamiento!	96 I have seen that al perfection is finite, but your commandment has no limit.
97 Mem. ¡Oh, cuánto amo tu ley! Todo el día es ella mi meditación.	97 How I love your Law! I ponder it al day long.
98 Más sabio me haces que mis enemigos por tu mandamiento, que por siempre es mío.	98 You make me wiser than my enemies by your commandment which is mine for ever.
99 Tengo más prudencia que todos mis maestros, porque mi meditación son tus dictámenes.	99 I am wiser than al my teachers because I ponder your instructions.
100 Poseo más cordura que los viejos, porque guardo tus ordenanzas.	100 I have more understanding than the aged because I keep your precepts.
101 Retraigo mis pasos de toda mala senda para guardar tu palabra.	101 I restrain my foot from evil paths to keep your word.
102 De tus juicios no me aparto, porque me instruyes tú.	102 I do not turn aside from your judgements, because you yourself have instructed me.
103 ¡Cuán dulce al paladar me es tu promesa, más que miel a mi boca!	103 How pleasant your promise to my palate, sweeter than honey in my mouth!
104 Por tus ordenanzas cobro inteligencia, por eso odio toda senda de mentira.	104 From your precepts I learn wisdom, so I hate all deceptive ways.
105 Nun. Para mis pies antorcha es tu palabra, luz para mi sendero.	105 Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
106 He jurado, y he de mantenerlo, guardar tus justos juicios.	106 I have sworn -- and shal maintain it -- to keep your upright judgements.
107 Humillado en exceso estoy, Yahveh, dame la vida conforme a tu palabra.	107 I am utterly wretched, Yahweh; true to your promise, give me life.
108 Acepta los votos de mi boca, Yahveh, y enséñame tus juicios.	108 Accept, Yahweh, the tribute from my mouth, and teach me your judgements.
109 Mi alma está en mis manos sin cesar, mas no olvido tu ley.	109 My life is in your hands perpetual y, I do not forget your Law.
110 Me tienden un lazo los impíos, mas yo no me desvío de tus ordenanzas.	110 The wicked have laid out a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.
111 Tus dictámenes son mi herencia por siempre, ellos son la alegría de mi corazón.	111 Your instructions are my eternal heritage, they are the joy of my heart.
112 Inclino mi corazón a practicar tus preceptos, recompensa por siempre.	112 I devote myself to obeying your statutes, their recompense is eternal.
113 Sámek. Aborrezco la doblez y amo tu ley.	113 I hate a divided heart, I love your Law.
114 Mi refugio y mi escudo eres tú, yo espero en tu palabra.	114 You are my refuge and shield, I put my hope in your word.

116 Sosténme conforme a tu promesa, y viviré, no defraudes mi esperanza.	116 True to your word, support me and I shal live; do not disappoint me of my hope.
117 Sé tú mi apoyo, y seré salvo, y sin cesar tendré a la vista tus preceptos.	117 Uphold me and I shall be saved, my gaze fixed on your wil .
118 Tú deshaces a todos los que se desvían de tus preceptos, mentira es su astucia.	118 You shake off al who stray from your wil ; deceit fills their horizon.
119 Tienes por escoria a todos los impíos de la tierra, por eso amo yo tus dictámenes.	119 In your sight al the wicked of the earth are like rust, so I love your instructions.
120 Por tu terror tiembla mi carne, de tus juicios tengo miedo.	120 My whole body trembles before you, your judgements fill me with fear.
121 Ain. Juicio y justicia he practicado, a mis opresores no me entregues.	121 Al my conduct has been just and upright, do not hand me over to my oppressors.
122 Sé fiador de tu siervo para el bien, no me opriman los soberbios.	122 Guarantee the wel -being of your servant, do not let the proud oppress me.
123 En pos de tu salvación languidecen mis ojos, tras tu promesa de justicia.	123 My eyes are languishing for your salvation and for the saving justice you have promised.
124 Según tu amor trata a tu siervo, enséñame tus preceptos.	124 Show your faithful love to your servant, teach me your judgements.
125 Yo soy tu servidor, hazme entender, y aprenderé tus dictámenes.	125 Your servant am I; give me understanding and I shal know your instructions.
126 Ya es hora de actuar, Yahveh, se ha violado tu ley.	126 It is time to take action, Yahweh, your Law is being broken.
127 Por eso amo yo tus mandamientos más que el oro, más que el oro fino.	127 So I love your commandments more than gold, purest gold.
128 Por eso me guío por todas tus ordenanzas y odio toda senda de mentira.	128 So I rule my life by your precepts, I hate al deceptive paths.
129 Pe. Maravillas son tus dictámenes, por eso mi alma los guarda.	129 Wonderful are your instructions, so I observe them.
130 Al abrirse, tus palabras iluminan dando inteligencia a los sencillos.	130 As your word unfolds it gives light, and even the simple understand.
131 Abro mi boca franca, y hondo aspiro, que estoy ansioso de tus mandamientos.	131 I open wide my mouth, panting eagerly for your commandments.
132 Vuélvete a mí y tenme piedad, como es justo para los que aman tu nombre.	132 Turn to me, pity me; those who love your name deserve it.
133 Mis pasos asegura en tu promesa, que no me domine ningún mal.	133 Keep my steps firm in your promise; that no evil may triumph over me.
134 Rescátame de la opresión del hombre, y tus ordenanzas guardaré.	134 Rescue me from human oppression, and I wil observe your precepts.
135 Haz que brille tu faz para tu siervo, y enséñame tus preceptos.	135 Let your face shine on your servant, teach me your wil .
136 Mis ojos destilan ríos de lágrimas, porque tu ley no se guarda.	136 My eyes stream with tears because your Law is disregarded.
137 Sade. ¡Justo eres tú, Yahveh, y rectitud tus juicios!	137 You are upright, Yahweh, and your judgements are honest.
138 Con justicia impones tus dictámenes, con colmada verdad.	138 You impose uprightness as a witness to yourself, it is constancy itself.
139 Mi celo me consume, porque mis adversarios olvidan tus palabras.	139 My zeal is burning me up because my oppressors forget your word.
140 Acendrada en extremo es tu promesa, tu servidor la ama.	140 Your promise is wel tested, your servant holds it dear.
141 Pequeño soy y despreciado, mas no olvido tus ordenanzas.	141 Puny and despised as I am, I do not forget your precepts.
142 Justicia eterna es tu justicia, verdad tu ley.	142 Your saving justice is for ever just, and your Law is trustworthy.
143 Angustia y opresión me han alcanzado, tus mandamientos hacen mis delicias.	143 Though anguish and distress grip me your commandments are my delight.
144 Justicia eterna tus dictámenes, hazme entender para que viva.	144 Your instructions are upright for ever, give me understanding and I shal live.
145 Qof. Invoco con todo el corazón, respóndeme, Yahveh, y guardaré tus preceptos.	145 I cal with al my heart; answer me, Yahweh, and I wil observe your judgements.
146 Yo te invoco, sálvame, y guardaré tus dictámenes.	146 I cal to you; save me, and I wil keep your instructions.
147 Me adelanto a la aurora y pido auxilio, en tu palabra espero.	147 I am awake before dawn to cry for help, I put my hope in your word.
148 Mis ojos se adelantan a las vigilias de la noche, a fin de meditar en tu promesa.	148 My eyes are awake before each watch of the night, to ponder your promise.
149 Por tu amor, Yahveh, escucha mi voz, por tus juicios, vivifícame.	149 In your faithful love, Yahweh, listen to my voice, let your judgements give me life.
150 Se acercan a la infamia los que me persiguen, se alejan de tu ley.	150 My pursuers are coming closer to their wicked designs, and further from your Law.
151 Tú estás cerca, Yahveh, todos tus mandamientos son verdad.	151 You are close to me, Yahweh, and all your commandments are true.
152 De tus dictámenes sé desde hace tiempo que para siempre los fundaste.	152 Long have I known that your instructions were laid down to last for ever.
153 Res Mira mi aflicción y líbrame, porque tu ley no olvido.	153 Look at my suffering and rescue me, for I do not forget your Law.
154 Aboga por mi causa tú, rescátame, dame la vida conforme a tu promesa.	154 Plead my cause and defend me; as you promised, give me life.
155 Lejos de los impíos la salvación, pues no van buscando tus preceptos.	155 Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek your will.
156 Muchas son tus ternuras, Yahveh, por tus juicios, vivifícame.	156 Your kindnesses to me are countless, Yahweh; true to your judgements, give me life.
157 Numerosos mis perseguidores y adversarios, yo no me aparto de tus dictámenes.	157 Though my enemies and oppressors are countless, I do not turn aside from your instructions.
158 He visto a los traidores, me disgusta que no guarden tu promesa.	158 The sight of these renegades appals me; they do not observe your promise.
159 Mira que amo tus ordenanzas, Yahveh, dame la vida por tu amor.	159 See how I love your precepts; true to your faithful love, give me life.
160 Es verdad el principio de tu palabra, por siempre, todos tus justos juicios.	160 Faithfulness is the essence of your word, your upright judgements hold good for ever.
161 Sin. Príncipes me persiguen sin razón, mas mi corazón teme tus palabras.	161 Though princes hound me unprovoked, what fil s me with awe is your word.
162 Me regocijo en tu promesa como quien halla un gran botín.	162 I rejoice in your promise like one who finds a vast treasure.
163 La mentira detesto y abomino, amo tu ley.	163 Falsehood I hate and detest, my love is for your Law.
164 Siete veces al día te alabo por tus justos juicios.	164 Seven times a day I praise you for your upright judgements.
165 Mucha es la paz de los que aman tu ley, no hay tropiezo para ellos.	165 Great peace for those who love your Law; no stumbling-blocks for them!
166 Espero tu salvación, Yahveh, tus mandamientos cumplo.	166 I am waiting for your salvation, Yahweh, I fulfil your commandments.
167 Mi alma guarda tus dictámenes, mucho los amo.	167 I observe your instructions, I love them dearly.
168 Guardo tus ordenanzas y dictámenes que ante ti están todos mis caminos.	168 I observe your precepts, your judgements, for al my ways are before you.
169 Tau. Mi grito llegue hasta tu faz, Yahveh, por tu palabra dame inteligencia. 170 Mi súplica llegue ante tu rostro, por tu promesa líbrame.	169 May my cry approach your presence, Yahweh; by your word give me understanding.
	170 May my prayer come into your presence, rescue me as you have promised.
171 Mis labios proclaman tu alabanza, pues tú me enseñas tus preceptos.	171 May my lips proclaim your praise, for you teach me your will.
172 Mi lengua repita tu promesa, pues todos tus mandamientos son justicia.	172 May my tongue recite your promise, for al your commandments are upright.
173 Venga tu mano en mi socorro, porque tus ordenanzas he escogido.	173 May your hand be there to help me, since I have chosen your precepts.
174 Anhelo tu salvación, Yahveh, tu ley hace mis delicias.	174 I long for your salvation, Yahweh, your Law is my delight.
