1 Alef Dichosos los que van por camino perfecto, los que proceden en la ley de Yahveh.	1 Happy those whose way is blameless, who walk by the teaching of the LORD.
2 Dichosos los que guardan sus dictámenes, los que le buscan de todo corazón,	2 Happy those who observe God's decrees, who seek the LORD with all their heart.
3 y los que, sin cometer iniquidad, andan por sus caminos.	3 They do no wrong; they walk in God's ways.
4 Tú tus ordenanzas promulgaste, para que sean guardadas cabalmente.	4 You have given them the command to keep your precepts with care.
5 ¡Ojalá mis caminos se aseguren para observar tus preceptos!	5 May my ways be firm in the observance of your laws!
6 Entonces no tendré vergüenza alguna al mirar a todos tus mandamientos.	6 Then I will not be ashamed to ponder all your commands.
7 Con rectitud de corazón te daré gracias, al aprender tus justos juicios.	7 I will praise you with sincere heart as I study your just edicts.
8 Tus preceptos, los observaré, no me abandones tú del todo.	8 I will keep your laws; do not leave me all alone.
9 Bet. ¿Cómo el joven guardará puro su camino? Observando tu palabra.	9 How can the young walk without fault? Only by keeping your words.
10 De todo corazón ando buscándote, no me desvíes de tus mandamientos.	10 With all my heart I seek you; do not let me stray from your commands.
11 Dentro del corazón he guardado tu promesa, para no pecar contra ti.	11 In my heart I treasure your promise, that I may not sin against you.
12 Bendito tú, Yahveh, enséñame tus preceptos.	12 Blessed are you, O LORD; teach me your laws.
13 Con mis labios he contado todos los juicios de tu boca.	13 With my lips I recite all the edicts you have spoken.
14 En el camino de tus dictámenes me recreo más que en toda riqueza.	14 I find joy in the way of your decrees more than in all riches.
15 En tus ordenanzas quiero meditar y mirar a tus caminos.	15 I will ponder your precepts and consider your paths.
16 En tus preceptos tengo mis delicias, no olvido tu palabra.	16 In your laws I take delight; I will never forget your word.
17 Guímel. Haz merced a tu siervo y viviré. y guardaré tu palabra.	17 Be kind to your servant that I may live, that I may keep your word.
18 Abre mis ojos para que contemple las maravillas de tu ley.	18 Open my eyes to see clearly the wonders of your teachings.
19 Un forastero soy sobre la tierra, tus mandamientos no me ocultes.	19 I am a sojourner in the land; do not hide your commands from me.
20 Mi alma se consume deseando tus juicios en todo tiempo.	20 At all times my soul is stirred with longing for your edicts.
21 Tú increpas a los soberbios, los malditos, que se desvían de tus mandamientos.	21 With a curse you rebuke the proud who stray from your commands.
22 Echa lejos de mí oprobio y menosprecio, porque he guardado tus dictámenes.	22 Free me from disgrace and contempt, for I observe your decrees.
23 Aunque los príncipes hablen en sesión contra mí, tu servidor medita en tus preceptos.	23 Though princes meet and talk against me, your servant studies your laws.
24 Tus dictámenes hacen mis delicias, mis consejeros, tus preceptos.	24 Your decrees are my delight; they are my counselors.
25 Dálet. Mi alma está pegada al polvo, hazme vivir conforme a tu palabra.	25 I lie prostrate in the dust; give me life in accord with your word.
26 Mis caminos expuse, y tú me respondiste, enséñame tus preceptos.	26 I disclosed my ways and you answered me; teach me your laws.
27 Hazme entender el camino de tus ordenanzas, y meditaré en tus maravillas.	27 Make me understand the way of your precepts; I will ponder your wondrous deeds.
28 Se va en lágrimas mi alma por el tedio, sosténme conforme a tu palabra.	28 I weep in bitter pain; in accord with your word to strengthen me.
29 Aléjame del camino de mentira, y dame la gracia de tu ley,	29 Lead me from the way of deceit; favor me with your teaching.
30 He escogido el camino de la lealtad, a tus juicios me conformo.	30 The way of loyalty I have chosen; I have set your edicts before me. <
31 A tus dictámenes me mantengo adherido, no me confundas, tú, Yahveh.	31 I cling to your decrees, LORD; do not let me come to shame.
32 Corro por el camino de tus mandamientos, pues tú mi corazón dilatas.	32 I will run the way of your commands, for you open my docile heart.
33 He. Enséñame, Yahveh, el camino de tus preceptos, yo lo quiero guardar en recompensa.	33 LORD, teach me the way of your laws; I shall observe them with care.
34 Hazme entender, para guardar tu ley y observarla de todo corazón.	34 Give me insight to observe your teaching, to keep it with all my heart.
35 Llévame por la senda de tus mandamientos porque mi complacencia tengo en ella.	35 Lead me in the path of your commands, for that is my delight.
36 Inclina mi corazón hacia tus dictámenes, y no a ganancia injusta.	36 Direct my heart toward your decrees and away from unjust gain.
37 Aparta mis ojos de mirar vanidades, por tu palabra vivifícame.	37 Avert my eyes from what is worthless; by your way give me life.
38 Mantén a tu siervo tu promesa, que conduce a tu temor.	38 For your servant fulfill your promise made to those who fear you.
39 Aparta de mí el oprobio que me espanta, pues son buenos tus juicios.	39 Turn away from me the taunts I dread, for your edicts bring good.
40 Mira que deseo tus ordenanzas, hazme vivir por tu justicia.	40 See how I long for your precepts; in your justice give me life.
41 Vau. ¡Llegue hasta mí tu amor, Yahveh, tu salvación, conforme a tu promesa!	41 Let your love come to me, LORD, salvation in accord with your promise.
42 Y daré respuesta al que me insulta, porque confio en tu palabra.	42 Let me answer my taunters with a word, for I trust in your word.
43 No quites de mi boca la palabra de verdad, porque espero en tus juicios.	43 Do not take the word of truth from my mouth, for in your edicts is my hope.
44 Yo observaré sin descanso tu ley para siempre jamás.	44 I will keep your teachings always, for all time and forever.
45 Y andaré por camino anchuroso, porque tus ordenanzas voy buscando.	45 I will walk freely in an open space because I cherish your precepts.
46 De tus dictámenes hablaré ante los reyes, y no tendré que avergonzarme.	46 I will speak openly of your decrees without fear even before kings.
47 Y me deleitaré en tus mandamientos, que amo mucho.	47 I delight in your commands, which I dearly love.
48 Tiendo mis manos hacia tus mandamientos, en tus preceptos medito.	48 I lift up my hands to your commands; I study your laws, which I love.
49 Zain. Recuerda la palabra dada a tu servidor, de la que has hecho mi esperanza.	49 Remember your word to your servant by which you give me hope.
50 Este es mi consuelo en mi miseria: que tu promesa me da vida.	50 This is my comfort in affliction, your promise that gives me life.
51 Los soberbios me insultan hasta el colmo, yo no me aparto de tu ley.	51 Though the arrogant utterly scorn me, I do not turn from your teaching.
52 Me acuerdo de tus juicios de otro tiempo, oh Yahveh, y me consuelo.	52 When I recite your edicts of old I am comforted, LORD.
53 Me arrebata el furor por los impíos que abandonan tu ley.	53 Rage seizes me because of the wicked; they forsake your teaching.
54 Tus preceptos son cantares para mí en mi mansión de forastero.	54 Your laws become my songs wherever I make my home.
55 Me acuerdo por la noche de tu nombre, Yahveh, quiero guardar tu ley.	55 Even at night I remember your name in observance of your teaching, LORD.
56 Esta es mi tarea: guardar tus ordenanzas.	56 This is my good fortune, for I have observed your precepts.
57 Jet. Mi porción, Yahveh, he dicho, es guardar tus palabras.	57 My portion is the LORD; I promise to keep your words.
58 Con todo el corazón busco tu favor, tenme piedad conforme a tu promesa.	58 I entreat you with all my heart: have mercy on me in accord with your promise.
59 He examinado mis caminos y quiero volver mis pies a tus dictámenes.	59 I have examined my ways and turned my steps to your decrees.
60 Me doy prisa y no me tardo en observar tus mandamientos.	60 I am prompt, I do not hesitate in keeping your commands.
61 Las redes de los impíos me aprisionan, yo no olvido tu ley.	61 Though the snares of the wicked surround me, your teaching I do not forget.
62 Me levanto a medianoche a darte gracias por tus justos juicios.	62 At midnight I rise to praise you because your edicts are just.
63 Amigo soy de todos los que te temen y observan tus ordenanzas.	63 I am the friend of all who fear you, of all who keep your precepts.
64 De tu amor, Yahveh, está la tierra llena, enséñame tus preceptos.	64 The earth, LORD, is filled with your love; teach me your laws.
65 Tet. Has sido generoso con tu siervo, oh Yahveh, conforme a tu palabra.	65 You have treated your servant well, according to your word, O LORD.
66 Cordura y sabiduría enséñame, pues tengo fe en tus mandamientos.	66 Teach me wisdom and knowledge, for in your commands I trust.
67 Antes de ser humillado, me descarriaba, mas ahora observo tu promesa.	67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I hold to your promise.
68 Tú, que eres bueno y bienhechor, enséñame tus preceptos.	68 You are good and do what is good; teach me your laws.
69 Los soberbios me enredan con mentira, yo guardo tus ordenanzas de todo corazón.	69 The arrogant smear me with lies, but I observe your precepts with all my heart.
70 Como de grasa su corazón está embotado. mas yo en tu ley tengo mis delicias.	70 Their hearts are gross and fat; as for me, your teaching is my delight.
71 Un bien para mí ser humillado, para que aprenda tus preceptos.	71 It was good for me to be afflicted, in order to learn your laws.
72 Un bien para mí la ley de tu boca, más que miles de oro y plata.	72 Teaching from your lips is more precious to me than heaps of silver and gold.
73 Yod. Tus manos me han hecho y me han formado, hazme entender, y aprenderé tus mandamientos.	73 Your hands made me and fashioned me; give me insight to learn your commands.
74 Los que te temen me ven con alegría, porque espero en tu palabra.	74 Those who fear you rejoice to see me, because I hope in your word.
75 Yo sé, Yahveh, que son justos tus juicios, que con lealtad me humillas tú.	75 I know, LORD, that your edicts are just; though you afflict me, you are faithful.
76 Sea tu amor consuelo para mí, según tu promesa a tu servidor.	76 May your love comfort me in accord with your promise to your servant.
77 Me alcancen tus ternuras y viviré, porque tu ley es mi delicia.	77 Show me compassion that I may live, for your teaching is my delight.
78 Sean confundidos los soberbios que me afligen con mentira, yo en tus ordenanzas medito.	78 Shame the proud for oppressing me unjustly, that I may study your precepts.
79 Vuélvanse hacia mí los que te temen, los que conocen tus dictámenes.	79 Let those who fear you turn to me, those who acknowledge your decrees.
80 Sea mi corazón perfecto en tus preceptos, para que no sea confundido.	80 May I be wholehearted toward your laws, that I may not be put to shame.
81 Kaf. En pos de tu salvación mi alma languidece, en tu palabra espero.	81 My soul longs for your salvation; I put my hope in your word.
82 Languidecen mis ojos en pos de tu promesa diciendo: «¿Cuándo vas a consolarme?»	82 My eyes long to see your promise. When will you comfort me?
83 Aun hecho igual que un pellejo que se ahúma, de tus preceptos no me olvido.	83 I am like a wineskin shriveled by smoke, but I have not forgotten your laws.
84 ¿Cuántos serán los días de tu siervo? ¿cuándo harás justicia de mis perseguidores?	84 How long can your servant survive? When will your edict doom my foes?
85 Los soberbios han cavado fosas para mí en contra de tu ley.	85 The arrogant have dug pits for me; defying your teaching.
86 Todos tus mandamientos son verdad, con mentira se me persigue, ¡ayúdame!	86 All your commands are steadfast. Help me! I am pursued without cause.
87 Poco falta para que me borren de la tierra, mas yo tus ordenanzas no abandono.	87 They have almost ended my life on earth, but I do not forsake your precepts.
88 Según tu amor dame la vida, y guardaré el dictamen de tu boca.	88 In your kindness give me life, to keep the decrees you have spoken.
89 Lámed. Para siempre, Yahveh, tu palabra, firme está en los cielos.	89 Your word, LORD, stands forever; it is firm as the heavens.
90 Por todas las edades tu verdad, tú fijaste la tierra, ella persiste.	90 Through all generations your truth endures; fixed to stand firm like the earth.
91 Por tus juicios subsiste todo hasta este día, pues toda cosa es sierva tuya.	91 By your edicts they stand firm to this day, for all things are your servants.
92 Si tu ley no hubiera sido mi delicia, ya habría perecido en mi miseria.	92 Had your teaching not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.
93 Jamás olvidaré tus ordenanzas, por ellas tú me das la vida.	93 I will never forget your precepts; through them you give me life.
94 Tuyo soy, sálvame, pues tus ordenanzas voy buscando.	94 I am yours; save me, for I cherish your precepts.
95 Para perderme me acechan los impíos, yo estoy atento a tus dictámenes.	95 The wicked hope to destroy me, but I pay heed to your decrees.
96 De todo lo perfecto he visto el límite: ¡Qué inmenso es tu mandamiento!	96 I have seen the limits of all perfection, but your command is without bounds.
97 Mem. ¡Oh, cuánto amo tu ley! Todo el día es ella mi meditación.	97 How I love your teaching, Lord! I study it all day long.
98 Más sabio me haces que mis enemigos por tu mandamiento, que por siempre es mío.	98 Your command makes me wiser than my foes, for it is always with me.
99 Tengo más prudencia que todos mis maestros, porque mi meditación son tus dictámenes.	99 I have more understanding than all my teachers, because I ponder your decrees.
100 Poseo más cordura que los viejos, porque guardo tus ordenanzas.	100 I have more insight than my elders, because I observe your precepts.
101 Retraigo mis pasos de toda mala senda para guardar tu palabra.	101 I keep my steps from every evil path, that I may obey your word.
102 De tus juicios no me aparto, porque me instruyes tú.	102 From your edicts I do not turn, for you have taught them to me.
103 ¡Cuán dulce al paladar me es tu promesa, más que miel a mi boca!	103 How sweet to my tongue is your promise, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 Por tus ordenanzas cobro inteligencia, por eso odio toda senda de mentira.	104 Through your precepts I gain insight; therefore I hate all false ways.
105 Nun. Para mis pies antorcha es tu palabra, luz para mi sendero.	105 Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light for my path.
106 He jurado, y he de mantenerlo, guardar tus justos juicios.	106 I make a solemn vow to keep your just edicts.
107 Humillado en exceso estoy, Yahveh, dame la vida conforme a tu palabra.	107 I am very much afflicted, LORD; give me life in accord with your word.
108 Acepta los votos de mi boca, Yahveh, y enséñame tus juicios.	108 Accept my freely offered praise; LORD, teach me your decrees.
109 Mi alma está en mis manos sin cesar, mas no olvido tu ley.	109 My life is always at risk, but I do not forget your teaching.
110 Me tienden un lazo los impíos, mas yo no me desvío de tus ordenanzas.	110 The wicked have set snares for me, but from your precepts I do not stray.
111 Tus dictámenes son mi herencia por siempre, ellos son la alegría de mi corazón.	111 Your decrees are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.
112 Inclino mi corazón a practicar tus preceptos, recompensa por siempre.	112 My heart is set on fulfilling your laws; they are my reward forever.

116 Sosténme conforme a tu promesa, y viviré, no defraudes mi esperanza.	116 Sustain me by your promise that I may live; do not disappoint me in my hope.
117 Sé tú mi apoyo, y seré salvo, y sin cesar tendré a la vista tus preceptos.	117 Strengthen me that I may be safe, ever to contemplate your laws.
118 Tú deshaces a todos los que se desvían de tus preceptos, mentira es su astucia.	118 You reject all who stray from your laws, for vain is their deceit.
119 Tienes por escoria a todos los impíos de la tierra, por eso amo yo tus dictámenes.	119 Like dross you regard all the wicked on earth; therefore I love your decrees.
120 Por tu terror tiembla mi carne, de tus juicios tengo miedo.	120 My flesh shudders with dread of you; I hold your edicts in awe.
121 Ain. Juicio y justicia he practicado, a mis opresores no me entregues.	121 I have fulfilled your just edict; do not abandon me to my oppressors.
122 Sé fiador de tu siervo para el bien, no me opriman los soberbios.	122 Guarantee your servant's welfare; do not let the arrogant oppress me.
123 En pos de tu salvación languidecen mis ojos, tras tu promesa de justicia.	123 My eyes long to see your salvation and the justice of your promise.
124 Según tu amor trata a tu siervo, enséñame tus preceptos.	124 Act with kindness toward your servant; teach me your laws.
125 Yo soy tu servidor, hazme entender, y aprenderé tus dictámenes.	125 I am your servant; give me discernment that I may know your decrees.
126 Ya es hora de actuar, Yahveh, se ha violado tu ley.	126 It is time for the LORD to act; they have disobeyed your teaching.
127 Por eso amo yo tus mandamientos más que el oro, más que el oro fino.	127 Truly I love your commands more than the finest gold.
128 Por eso me guío por todas tus ordenanzas y odio toda senda de mentira.	128 Thus I follow all your precepts; every wrong way I hate.
129 Pe. Maravillas son tus dictámenes, por eso mi alma los guarda.	129 Wonderful are your decrees; therefore I observe them.
130 Al abrirse, tus palabras iluminan dando inteligencia a los sencillos.	130 The revelation of your words sheds light, gives understanding to the simple.
131 Abro mi boca franca, y hondo aspiro, que estoy ansioso de tus mandamientos.	131 I sigh with open mouth, yearning for your commands.
132 Vuélvete a mí y tenme piedad, como es justo para los que aman tu nombre.	132 Turn to me and be gracious, your edict for lovers of your name.
133 Mis pasos asegura en tu promesa, que no me domine ningún mal.	133 Steady my feet in accord with your promise; do not let iniquity lead me.
134 Rescátame de la opresión del hombre, y tus ordenanzas guardaré.	134 Free me from human oppression, that I may keep your precepts.
135 Haz que brille tu faz para tu siervo, y enséñame tus preceptos.	135 Let your face shine upon your servant; teach me your laws.
136 Mis ojos destilan ríos de lágrimas, porque tu ley no se guarda.	136 My eyes shed streams of tears because your teaching is not followed.
137 Sade. ¡Justo eres tú, Yahveh, y rectitud tus juicios!	137 You are righteous, LORD, and just are your edicts.
138 Con justicia impones tus dictámenes, con colmada verdad.	138 You have issued your decrees in justice and in surpassing faithfulness.
139 Mi celo me consume, porque mis adversarios olvidan tus palabras.	139 I am consumed with rage, because my foes forget your words.
140 Acendrada en extremo es tu promesa, tu servidor la ama.	140 Your servant loves your promise; it has been proved by fire.
141 Pequeño soy y despreciado, mas no olvido tus ordenanzas.	141 Though belittled and despised, I do not forget your precepts.
142 Justicia eterna es tu justicia, verdad tu ley.	142 Your justice is forever right, your teaching forever true.
143 Angustia y opresión me han alcanzado, tus mandamientos hacen mis delicias.	143 Though distress and anguish come upon me, your commands are my delight.
144 Justicia eterna tus dictámenes, hazme entender para que viva.	144 Your decrees are forever just; give me discernment that I may live.
145 Qof. Invoco con todo el corazón, respóndeme, Yahveh, y guardaré tus preceptos.	145 I call with all my heart, O LORD; answer me that I may observe your laws.
146 Yo te invoco, sálvame, y guardaré tus dictámenes.	146 I call to you to save me that I may keep your decrees.
147 Me adelanto a la aurora y pido auxilio, en tu palabra espero.	147 I rise before dawn and cry out; I put my hope in your words.
148 Mis ojos se adelantan a las vigilias de la noche, a fin de meditar en tu promesa.	148 My eyes greet the night watches as I meditate on your promise.
149 Por tu amor, Yahveh, escucha mi voz, por tus juicios, vivifícame.	149 Hear my voice in your love, O LORD; by your edict give me life.
150 Se acercan a la infamia los que me persiguen, se alejan de tu ley.	150 Malicious persecutors draw near me; they are far from your teaching.
151 Tú estás cerca, Yahveh, todos tus mandamientos son verdad.	151 You are near, O LORD; reliable are all your commands.
152 De tus dictámenes sé desde hace tiempo que para siempre los fundaste.	152 Long have I known from your decrees that you have established them forever.
153 Res Mira mi aflicción y líbrame, porque tu ley no olvido.	153 Look at my affliction and rescue me, for I have not forgotten your teaching.
154 Aboga por mi causa tú, rescátame, dame la vida conforme a tu promesa.	154 Take up my cause and redeem me; for the sake of your promise give me life.
155 Lejos de los impíos la salvación, pues no van buscando tus preceptos.	155 Salvation is far from sinners because they do not cherish your laws.
156 Muchas son tus ternuras, Yahveh, por tus juicios, vivifícame.	156 Your compassion is great, O LORD; in accord with your edicts give me life.
157 Numerosos mis perseguidores y adversarios, yo no me aparto de tus dictámenes.	157 Though my persecutors and foes are many I do not turn from your decrees.
158 He visto a los traidores, me disgusta que no guarden tu promesa.	158 I view the faithless with loathing, because they do not heed your promise.
159 Mira que amo tus ordenanzas, Yahveh, dame la vida por tu amor.	159 See how I love your precepts, LORD; in your kindness give me life.
160 Es verdad el principio de tu palabra, por siempre, todos tus justos juicios.	160 Your every word is enduring; all your just edicts are forever.
161 Sin. Príncipes me persiguen sin razón, mas mi corazón teme tus palabras.	161 Princes persecute me without reason, but my heart reveres only your word.
162 Me regocijo en tu promesa como quien halla un gran botín.	162 I rejoice at your promise, as one who has found rich spoil.
163 La mentira detesto y abomino, amo tu ley.	163 Falsehood I hate and abhor; your teaching I love.
164 Siete veces al día te alabo por tus justos juicios.	164 Seven times a day I praise you because your edicts are just.
165 Mucha es la paz de los que aman tu ley, no hay tropiezo para ellos.	165 Lovers of your teaching have much peace; for them there is no stumbling block.
166 Espero tu salvación, Yahveh, tus mandamientos cumplo.	166 I look for your salvation, LORD, and I fulfill your commands.
167 Mi alma guarda tus dictámenes, mucho los amo.	167 I observe your decrees; I love them very much.
168 Guardo tus ordenanzas y dictámenes que ante ti están todos mis caminos.	168 I observe your precepts and decrees; all my ways are before you.
169 Tau. Mi grito llegue hasta tu faz, Yahveh, por tu palabra dame inteligencia. 170 Mi súplica llegue ante tu rostro, por tu promesa líbrame.	169 Let my cry come before you, LORD; in keeping with your word give me discernment.
	170 Let my prayer come before you; rescue me according to your promise.
171 Mis labios proclaman tu alabanza, pues tú me enseñas tus preceptos.	171 May my lips pour forth your praise, because you teach me your laws.
172 Mi lengua repita tu promesa, pues todos tus mandamientos son justicia.	172 May my tongue sing of your promise, for all your commands are just.
173 Venga tu mano en mi socorro, porque tus ordenanzas he escogido.	173 Keep your hand ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts.
174 Anhelo tu salvación, Yahveh, tu ley hace mis delicias.	174 I long for your salvation, LORD; your teaching is my delight.
175 Viva mi alma para alabarte, y ayúdenme tus juicios.	175 Let me live to praise you; may your edicts give me help.
176 Me he descarriado como oveja perdida: ven en busca de tu siervo. No, no me olvido de tus mandamientos.	176 I have wandered like a lost sheep; seek out your servant, for I do not forget your commands.
