Psalmen 59

EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 [Für den Chormeister. Nach der Weise «Zerstöre nicht!». Ein Lied Davids, als Saul hinschickte und man das Haus bewachte, um ihn zu töten.]	1 Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.
2 Entreiß mich den Feinden, mein Gott, beschütze mich vor meinen Gegnern!	2 Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
3 Entreiß mich denen, die Unrecht tun, rette mich vor den Mördern!	3 For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.
4 Sieh her: Sie lauern mir auf, Mächtige stellen mir nach. Ich aber habe keinen Frevel begangen und keine Sünde;	4 They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.
5 Herr, ich bin ohne Schuld. Sie stürmen vor und stellen sich auf. Wach auf, komm mir entgegen, sieh her!	5 Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.
6 Herr, du Gott der Heerscharen, Gott Israels, werde wach, suche alle Völker heim! Sei keinem treulosen Frevler gnädig! [Sela]	6 They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
7 Abend für Abend kommen sie wieder, sie kläffen wie Hunde, durchstreifen die Stadt.	7 Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?
8 Ja, sie geifern mit ihrem Maul. Die Schwerter zwischen ihren Lippen, wer nimmt sie wahr?	8 But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.
9 Du aber, Herr, verlachst sie; du spottest über alle Völker.	9 Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.
10 Meine Stärke, an dich will ich mich halten, denn du, Gott, bist meine Burg.	10 The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.
11 Mein huldreicher Gott kommt mir entgegen; Gott lässt mich herabsehen auf meine Gegner.	11 Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.
12 Töte sie nicht, damit mein Volk nicht vergisst. In deiner Kraft zerstreue sie, wirf sie nieder, Herr, unser Schild!	12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.
13 Wegen der Sünde ihres Mundes, wegen all ihrer Reden sollen sie sich in ihrem Hochmut verfangen; denn sie fluchen und verbreiten nur Lügen.	13 Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.
14 Vernichte sie im Zorn, vernichte sie; sie sollen zugrunde gehen. Sie sollen erkennen, dass Gott der Herrscher in Jakob ist und bis an das Ende der Erde. [Sela]	14 And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
15 Abend für Abend kommen sie wieder, sie kläffen wie Hunde, durchstreifen die Stadt.	15 Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.
16 Sie streunen umher, gierig nach Fraß; werden sie nicht satt, dann knurren sie.	16 But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.
17 Ich aber will deine Macht besingen, will über deine Huld jubeln am Morgen. Denn du bist eine Burg für mich, bist meine Zuflucht am Tag der Not.	17 Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
18 Meine Stärke, dir will ich singen und spielen; denn du, Gott, bist meine Burg, mein huldreicher Gott.
