BIBBIA TINTORI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 (Salmo di David. Al finir del Tabernacolo). Portate al Signore, o figli di Dio, portate al Signore gli agnelli.	1 [Of David] To you, Yahweh, I cry, my rock, do not be deaf to me! If you stay silent I shall be like thosewho sink into oblivion.
2 Portate al Signore gloria e onore, portate al Signore la gloria dovuta al suo nome, adorate il Signore nell'atrio suo santo.	2 Hear the sound of my prayer when I cal upon you, when I raise my hands, Yahweh, towards your Holyof Holies.
3 La voce del Signore sopra le acque, il Dio della maestà tona: il Signore sopra le acque immense.	3 Do not drag me away with the wicked, with evil-doers, who talk to their partners of peace withtreachery in their hearts.
4 La voce del Signore è potente, la voce del Signore è maestosa.	4 Repay them as their deeds deserve, as befits their treacherous actions; as befits their handiworkrepay them, let their deserts fall back on themselves.
5 La voce del Signore schianta i cedri, il Signore schianta i cedri del Libano.	5 They do not comprehend the deeds of Yahweh, the work of his hands. May he pul them down and notrebuild them!
6 Li fa in pezzi come un vitello del Libano, e il diletto come il figlio del liocorno.	6 Blessed be Yahweh for he hears the sound of my prayer.
7 La voce del Signore sprizza lampi di fuoco.	7 Yahweh is my strength and my shield, in him my heart trusts. I have been helped; my body hasrecovered its vigour, with all my heart I thank him.
8 La voce del Signore scuote il deserto, il Signore scuote il deserto di Cades.	8 Yahweh is the strength of his people, a safe refuge for his anointed.
9 La voce del Signore prepara le cerve, spoglia le foreste, e nel tempio di lui tutti dicono: « Gloria! »	9 Save your people, bless your heritage, shepherd them and carry them for ever!
10 Il Signore mette la dimora sopra il diluvio, ed egli sta assiso come Signore e re in eterno.
11 Il Signore dia forza al suo popolo, il Signore benedica il suo popolo nella pace.
