1 Fece anche un altare di rame, lungo venti cubiti, largo venti cubiti, alto dieci cubiti.	1 Also, he made a brass altar of twenty cubits in length, and of twenty cubits in width, and of ten cubits in height,
2 Fece il mare di getto, che aveva dieci cubiti, da un orlo all'altro, era perfettamente rotondo, era alto cinque cubiti. Una corda di trenta cubiti abbracciava tutta la sua circonferenza;	2 as well as a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in its circumference. It had five cubits in height, and a line of thirty cubits went around it on all sides.

Now the oxen were molten.
4 Il mare posava sopra dodici buoi, dei quali tre erari volti a settentrione, tre a occidente, tre a mezzodì e gli ultimi tre a levante. Essi sostenevano il mare e le loro parti posteriori eran di dentro sotto il mare.	4 And the sea itself was placed upon the twelve oxen, three of which were looking toward the north, and another three toward the west, then another three toward the south, and the three that remained toward the east, having the sea imposed upon them. But the posteriors of the oxen were toward the interior, under the sea.
5 Il mare aveva lo spessore d'un palmo, il suo orlo era come quello d'un calice o di un giglio sbocciato, e conteneva tre mila metrete.	5 Now its thickness had the measure of the palm of a hand, and its brim was like the lip of a cup, or like the outturned petal of a lily. And it held three thousand measures.
6 Fece anche dieci conche, e ne collocò cinque a destra e cinque a sinistra, per lavarvi tutto quel­lo che doveva essere offerto in olocausto; nel mare poi ci si lavavano i sacerdoti.	6 Also, he made ten basins. And he placed five on the right, and five on the left, so that they might wash in them all the things that they were to offer as holocausts. But the priests were to be washed in the sea.
7 Fece anche dieci candelabri d'oro secondo la forma prescritta, e li pose nel tempio, cinque a destra e cinque a sinistra.	7 Then he also made ten gold lampstands, according to the form by which they had been ordered to be made. And he set them in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left.
8 Così pure dieci mense, e le collocò nel tempio, cinque a destra e cinque a sinistra; ed anche cento fiale d'oro.	8 Moreover, there were also ten tables. And he placed them in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left. Also, there were one hundred gold bowls.
9 Fece inoltre l'atrio pei sacerdoti e il gran portico, e, nel portico, le porte, che rivestì di rame.	9 Then too, he made the court of the priests, and a great hall, and doors in the hall, which he covered with brass.
10 Il mare lo collocò dal lato destro verso levante, dalla parte meridionale.	10 Now he placed the sea on the right side, facing the east, toward the south.
11 Hiram fece le caldaie, i forchettoni, le fiale, e compì tutti i lavori del re nella casa di Dio,	11 Then Hiram made cooking pots and hooks and bowls. And he completed every work of the king in the house of God,
12 cioè le due colonne cogli epistilii, i capitelli e le specie di reti che coprivano i capitelli al disopra degli epistilii,	12 that is, the two pillars, and the crossbeams, and the heads, and something like a little net, which would cover the heads above the crossbeams,
13 e le quattrocento melagrane e le due reti, messe in modo che due ordini di melagrai ne erano imiti a ciascuna delle reti che coprivano gli epistilii e i capitelli delle colonne.	13 and also four hundred pomegranates, and two little nets, so that two rows of pomegranates were joined to each net, which would cover the crossbeams and the heads of the pillars.
14 Fece anche le basi e le conche che pose sopra le basi,	14 He also made bases; and basins that he placed upon the bases;
15 e il mare unico, i dodici buoi che eran sotto il mare,	15 one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea;
16 e caldaie, i forchettoni e le coppe. Hiram suo padre fece a Salomone tutti i vasi per la casa del Signore con rame purissimo.	16 and cooking pots and hooks and bowls. Hiram, his father, made all the vessels for Solomon, in the house of the Lord, from the purest brass.

19 Cosi Salomone fece tutti que­sti vasi della casa di Dio, e l'altare d'oro, e le mense sulle quali si mettevano i pani di proposizione.	19 And Solomon made all the vessels for the house of God, and the gold altar, and the tables upon which were the bread of the presence;
20 Fece pure d'oro finissimo i candelabri colle lampade, per far lume dinanzi all'oracolo, secondo il rito,	20 and also, of the purest gold, the lampstands with their lamps, to shine before the oracle, according to the rite;
21 e così pure i fiori, le lucerne e le molle d'oro. Tutte que­ste cose furon fatte d'oro finissimo.	21 and certain flowers, and lamps, and gold tongs. All these were made from the purest gold.
22 Anche i braceri, i turiboli, le coppe e i mortai eran di oro finissimo. Le porte del tempio interiore, cioè del Santo dei Santi, eran d'intaglio; e le porte del tempio al di fuori eran d'oro. Così fu compiuto tutto il lavoro che Salomone fece nella casa del Si­gnore.	22 Also, the vessels for the perfumes, and the censers, and the bowls, and the little mortars were from the purest gold. And he engraved the doors of the inner temple, that is, for the Holy of Holies. And the doors of the outer temple were of gold. And so, every work was completed that Solomon made in the house of the Lord.
