Levitico 4

BIBBIA RICCIOTTI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 - Parlò ancora il Signore a Mosè, e disse:	1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:
2 «Di' ai figli di Israele così: - Colui che avrà peccato per ignoranza, ed avrà fatto qualcuna di quelle cose che il Signore in tutti i suoi comandamenti ha comandato di non fare:	2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "If anyone sins inadvertently against any of Yahweh's commandmentsand does anything prohibited by them,
3 se chi peccò fu il sacerdote consacrato, il quale fece così peccare anche il popolo, offrirà al Signore per il suo peccato un vitello senza macchia.	3 if the one who sins is the anointed priest, thus making the people guilty, then for the sin which he hascommitted he must offer Yahweh a young bul , an unblemished animal from the herd, as a sacrifice for sin.
4 Lo presenterà all'ingresso del tabernacolo della testimonianza al cospetto del Signore; gli porrà la mano sul capo, e l'immolerà al Signore.	4 He wil bring the bul before Yahweh at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, wil lay his hand on its headand slaughter it before Yahweh.
5 Prenderà poi del sangue del vitello, e lo porterà dentro il tabernacolo della testimonianza.	5 The anointed priest wil then take some of the bul 's blood and carry it into the Tent of Meeting.
6 Intinto un dito nel sangue, ne farà aspersione sette volte verso il velo del santuario che sta dinanzi al Signore.	6 He wil then dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times in front of the sanctuary curtain, beforeYahweh.
7 Metterà di quel medesimo sangue sui corni dell'altare dell'incenso gratissimo al Signore, che è nel tabernacolo della testimonianza; e tutto il sangue rimanente lo verserà appiede dell'altare degli olocausti che è all'ingresso del tabernacolo.	7 The priest will then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of incense smoking before Yahweh inthe Tent of Meeting, and wil pour al the rest of the bul 's blood at the foot of the altar of burnt offerings at theentrance to the Tent of Meeting.
8 Dal vitello offerto per il peccato caverà il grasso, tanto quello che cuopre le parti vitali quanto quello che è nell'interiora,	8 "Of the bul offered as a sacrifice for sin, he wil set aside all the fat: the fat covering the entrails, al the fat on the entrails,
9 i due reni, la rete che sta sovr'essi presso a' fianchi, ed il grasso del fegato coi reni,	9 both kidneys, the fat on them and on the loins, the mass of fat which he wil remove from the liver andkidneys-
10 come si cava dal vitello dell'ostia pacifica: e brucerà queste cose sull'altare degli olocausti.	10 exactly as was done with the portion set aside in the communion sacrifice -- and the priest will burnthese pieces on the altar of burnt offerings.
11 La pelle poi, tutte le carni, il capo, i piedi, l'intestino con gli escrementi,	11 "The bul 's skin and al its meat, its head, its shins, its entrails and its offal,
12 e tutto il resto del corpo, lo porterà fuori del campo, nel luogo mondo ove soglion gettarsi le ceneri, lo brucerà sopra una catasta di legna, e verrà consumato nel luogo dove si gettan le ceneri.	12 the whole bul he wil then have carried out of the camp to a clean place, the place where the fattyashes are thrown, and wil burn it on a wood fire; it must be burnt where the ashes are thrown.
13 Che se tutto il popolo d'Israele avrà errato, e per ignoranza avrà fatto qualcosa che sia contro un comando del Signore,	13 "If the whole community of Israel has sinned inadvertently and, without being aware of it has incurredguilt by doing something forbidden by Yahweh's commandments,
14 e poi riconosca il suo peccato, offrirà per questo suo peccato un vitello, e lo presenterà all'ingresso del tabernacolo.	14 once the sin of which it is guilty has been discovered, the community must offer a young bul , anunblemished animal from the herd, as a sacrifice for sin, and bring it in front of the Tent of Meeting.
15 I seniori del popolo stenderanno le mani sul capo, innanzi al Signore. Ed immolato al cospetto del Signore il vitello,	15 The elders of the community wil then lay their hands on the bul 's head before Yahweh, and the bulwil be slaughtered before Yahweh.
16 il sacerdote consacrato porterà del suo sangue nel tabernacolo della testimonianza,	16 "The anointed priest wil then take some of the bul 's blood into the Tent of Meeting.
17 ed intintovi un dito, ne farà aspersione sette volte verso il velo.	17 He will then dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times in front of the curtain, beforeYahweh.
18 Porrà poi di quel sangue sui corni dell'altare che sta dinanzi al Signore nel tabernacolo della testimonianza; il rimanente sangue, lo verserà a' piedi dell'altare degli olocausti, che è all'ingresso del tabernacolo della testimonianza.	18 He will then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar standing before Yahweh inside the Tent ofMeeting, and then pour al the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar of burnt offerings at the entrance to theTent of Meeting.
19 Prenderà tutto il grasso, e lo brucerà sull'altare,	19 "He wil then set aside al the fat from the animal and burn it on the altar.
20 facendo di questo vitello come fece del primo. Pregando il sacerdote per essi diverrà loro propizio il Signore.	20 He will then deal with the bul as he did with the bul in the sacrifice for sin. It wil be dealt with in thesame way; and once the priest has performed the rite of expiation for the people, they will be forgiven.
21 Quel vitello poi, lo porterà fuori del campo, e lo brucerà come il primo, essendo esso offerto per il peccato della moltitudine.	21 "He wil then have the bul carried out of the camp and wil burn it as he burned the first one. This is thesacrifice for the sin of the community.
22 Se peccherà uno dei capi, facendo per ignoranza una delle molte cose proibite dalla legge del Signore,	22 "When a leader has sinned and inadvertently incurred guilt by doing something forbidden by thecommandments of Yahweh his God
23 e poi riconoscerà il suo peccato, offrirà come ostia al Signore un capro senza difetti.	23 (or if the sin which he has committed is drawn to his attention), he must bring a he-goat as his offering,an unblemished male.
24 Gli porrà sul capo una mano, e dopo che l'avrà immolato nel luogo ove sogliono immolarsi innanzi al Signore gli olocausti (giacchè è un'ostia per il peccato),	24 He will then lay his hand on the goat's head and slaughter it on the spot where the burnt offerings areslaughtered before Yahweh. This is a sacrifice for sin;
25 il sacerdote intingerà il dito nel sangue di quell'ostia per il peccato, toccherà con esso i corni dell'altare dell'olocausto, e spargerà il rimanente a' piedi del medesimo.	25 the priest wil take some of the victim's blood on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burntofferings. He will then pour the rest of its blood at the foot of the altar of burnt offerings
26 Sopra poi, vi brucerà il grasso, come si suol fare per le ostie pacifiche. Il sacerdote pregherà per lui e per il suo peccato, e gli verrà perdonato.	26 and burn al the fat on the altar, as with the fat in the communion sacrifice. This is how the priest mustperform the rite of expiation for him to free him from his sin, and he wil be forgiven.
27 Che se uno del popolo di Israele avrà mancato per ignoranza, facendo qualcuna delle cose proibite dalla legge del Signore, e peccando,	27 "If one of the country people sins inadvertently and incurs guilt by doing something forbidden byYahweh's commandments
28 e poi avrà riconosciuto il suo peccato, offrirà una capra senza macchia.	28 (or if the sin which he has committed is drawn to his attention), he must bring a she-goat as his offeringfor the sin which he has committed, an unblemished female.
29 Porrà la mano sul capo della vittima che è per il suo peccato, e l'immolerà nel luogo destinato agli olocausti.	29 He will then lay his hand on the victim's head and slaughter it on the spot where the burnt offerings areslaughtered.
30 Il sacerdote prenderà di quel sangue col dito, ne toccherà i corni dell'altare dell'olocausto, e verserà il resto a' piedi del medesimo.	30 The priest wil take some of its blood on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offerings.He will then pour all the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar.
31 Estrattone poi tutto il grasso, come si suol estrarre dalle ostie pacifiche, lo brucerà sull'altare in odore di soavità per il Signore; pregherà per costui, e gli sarà perdonato.	31 He will then remove al the fat, as the fat was removed for the communion sacrifice, and the priest wilburn it on the altar as a smell pleasing to Yahweh. This is how the priest must perform the rite of expiation forhim, and he wil be forgiven.
32 Che se quegli pel suo peccato offrirà come vittima una pecora, sia una pecora senza macchia.	32 "If he wishes to bring a lamb as an offering for this kind of sacrifice, he must bring an unblemishedfemale.
33 Porrà la mano sul capo di essa, e l'immolerà nel luogo dove sogliono immolarsi le vittime per gli olocausti.	33 He will then lay his hand on the victim's head and slaughter it as a sacrifice for sin on the spot wherethe burnt offerings are slaughtered.
34 Il sacerdote prenderà col dito di quel sangue, e dopo averne toccati i corni dell'altare dell'olocausto, verserà il rimanente a' piedi di questo.	34 The priest wil take some of the victim's blood on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burntofferings. He will then pour al the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar.
35 Cavatone poi tutto il grasso, come si suol cavare il grasso dell'ariete immolato per ostia pacifica, lo brucerà sull'altare come incenso al Signore; pregherà per costui e per il suo peccato, e gli verrà perdonato.	35 He will then remove al the fat, as was done for the sheep in the communion sacrifice, and the priestwil burn it as food burnt for Yahweh. This is how the priest must perform for him the rite of expiation for the sinwhich he has committed, and he wil be forgiven." '
