| 2 Di faccia alla porta di settentrione aveva cento cubiti di lunghezza, e cinquanta cubiti di larghezza. | 2 The length of the building which was on the north side was a hundred cubits, and the breadth fifty cubits. |
| 3 Di faccia all'atrio interiore, venti cubiti, e di faccia al pavimento lastricato dell'atrio esteriore c'eran portici uniti a triplice ordine. | 3 Adjoining the twenty cubits which belonged to the inner court, and facing the pavement which belonged to the outer court, was gallery against gallery in three stories. |
| 4 E davanti alle camere c'era un passaggio di dieci cubiti di larghezza, e per andare nell'interno c'era un passaggio d'un cubito, e le loro porte erano a settentrione. | 4 And before the chambers was a passage inward, ten cubits wide and a hundred cubits long, and their doors were on the north. |

| 6 Erano infatti tre piani, e non avevan colonne come le colonne degli atrii, per questo si alzavano di cinquanta cubiti dal suolo sopra il piano inferiore e quel di mezzo. | 6 For they were in three stories, and they had no pillars like the pillars of the outer court; hence the upper chambers were set back from the ground more than the lower and the middle ones. |
| 7 E la cinta esteriore, lungo le camere che erano verso l'atrio esteriore, che era di faccia alle camere, aveva cinquanta cubiti di lunghezza. | 7 And there was a wall outside parallel to the chambers, toward the outer court, opposite the chambers, fifty cubits long. |
| 8 La lunghezza delle camere dell'atrio esteriore era di cinquanta cubiti, e la lunghezza dinanzi al tempio era di cento cubiti. | 8 For the chambers on the outer court were fifty cubits long, while those opposite the temple were a hundred cubits long. |
| 9 E sotto le camere v'era un'entrata da oriente per chi entrava in esse dall'atrio esteriore. | 9 Below these chambers was an entrance on the east side, as one enters them from the outer court, |
| 10 Nella larghezza della cinta dell'atrio, che era dal lato orientale, di faccia all'edificio separato, v'erano, dinanzi all'edifìcio, delle camere. | 10 where the outside wall begins. On the south also, opposite the yard and opposite the building, there were chambers |
| 11 E dinanzi ad esse v'era un passaggio simile a quello delle camere che erano verso settentrione, e la loro lunghezza e la loro larghezza era uguale, così i loro ingressi, le loro figure, le loro porte. | 11 with a passage in front of them; they were similar to the chambers on the north, of the same length and breadth, with the same exits and arrangements and doors. |
| 12 Come le porte delle camere, così quelle che guardavano il mezzogiorno: la porta era a capo della strada, la strada era davanti al vestibolo separato per chi veniva da oriente. | 12 And below the south chambers was an entrance on the east side, where one enters the passage, and opposite them was a dividing wall. |
| 13 E mi disse: « Le camere di settentrione e le camere di mezzodì, che sono davanti all'edificio separato, son camere sante, in esse mangiano i sacerdoti che si accostano al Signore nel Santo dei Santi, in esse porranno le cose santissime e le oblazioni per il peccato e pel delitto essendo santo quel luogo. | 13 Then he said to me, "The north chambers and the south chambers opposite the yard are the holy chambers, where the priests who approach the LORD shall eat the most holy offerings; there they shall put the most holy offerings--the cereal offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering, for the place is holy. |
| 14 E i sacerdoti, entrati che siano, non usciranno dal Santo nell'atrio esteriore, ma ivi riporranno le loro vesti che portano nel loro ministero, perchè sono sante, e prenderanno altre vesti, e cosi andranno al popolo ». | 14 When the priests enter the holy place, they shall not go out of it into the outer court without laying there the garments in which they minister, for these are holy; they shall put on other garments before they go near to that which is for the people." |
| 15 E quando ebbe finito di misurare la casa interiore, mi condusse fuori per la via della porta che guardava ad oriente, e la misurò da ogni parte tutt'all'intorno. | 15 Now when he had finished measuring the interior of the temple area, he led me out by the gate which faced east, and measured the temple area round about. |
| 16 E misurò dalla parte d'oriente colla canna da misurare, cinquecento canne di misura all'intorno. | 16 He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred cubits by the measuring reed. |
| 17 E misurò dalla parte di settentrione colla canna da misurare, cinquecento canne all'intorno. | 17 Then he turned and measured the north side, five hundred cubits by the measuring reed. |
