1 Alleluia, Cantate al Signore un nuovo cantico: la sua lode nella chiesa, dei santi.	1 Alleluia. Sing to the Lord a new song. His praise is in the Church of the saints.
2 Israele si rallegri nel suo creatore, e i figli di Sionne esultino nei loro re.	2 Let Israel rejoice in him who made them, and let the sons of Zion exult in their king.
3 Lodino il nome di lui tra le danze, tra, i timpani e le cetre a lui salmeggino.	3 Let them praise his name in chorus. Let them sing psalms to him with the timbrel and the psaltery.
4 Perchè il Signore si compiace nel suo popolo, ed esalta i mansueti colla vittoria.	4 For the Lord is well pleased with his people, and he will exalt the meek unto salvation.
5 I santi esultino nella gloria, si rallegrino nel loro riposo,	5 The saints will exult in glory. They will rejoice upon their couches.
6 siano sulla loro bocca le lodi di Dio, e nella loro mano spade a doppio taglio,	6 The exultations of God will be in their throat, and two-edged swords will be in their hands:
7 Per far vendetta delle nazioni e castigare i popoli,	7 to obtain vindication among the nations, chastisements among the peoples,
8 Per legare i loro re in ceppi e i loro grandi in catene di ferro,	8 to bind their kings with shackles and their nobles with manacles of iron,
9 Onde eseguire contro di essi la sentenza già scritta: ecco la gloria riserbata a tutti i suoi santi. Alleluia.	9 to obtain judgment over them, as it has been written. This is glory for all his saints. Alleluia.
