1 - Laude-cantico di David. Per il giorno avanti il sabbato, quando fu fondata la terra. Il Signore regna! di maestà s'è rivestito: s'è rivestito il Signore di forza, s'è cinto [di potenza]. 2 Stabile è il tuo trono fin da' primordi: dall'eterno tu sei!	2 The Lord has reigned. He has been clothed with beauty.
3 Levano i fiumi, o Signore! levano i fiumi la lor voce, levano i fiumi [il fragor de'] loro flutti.	3 The Lord has been clothed with strength, and he has girded himself. Yet he has also confirmed the world, which will not be moved.
4 [Ma] più che i mugghi delle molte acque, più mirabile de' cavalloni del mare, mirabile è nell'alto il Signore!	4 My throne is prepared from of old. You are from everlasting.
5 I tuoi oracoli sono fedeli oltremodo: alla tua casa si conviene la santità, o Signore, per lunghi [e lunghi] dì.	5 Your testimonies have been made exceedingly trustworthy. Sanctity befits your house, O Lord, with length of days.
