1 - Cantico-salmo di Asaf.	1 [Psalm Of Asaph] God takes his stand in the divine assembly, surrounded by the gods he givesjudgement.
2 O Dio, chi simile a te? Non tacere e non rattenerti, o Dio.	2 'How much longer wil you give unjust judgements and uphold the prestige of the wicked?
3 Perchè ecco, i tuoi nemici strepitano, e quei che t'odiano alzan la testa.	3 Let the weak and the orphan have justice, be fair to the wretched and the destitute.Pause
4 Contro il tuo popol ordiscon congiura malvagia, tramano contro i tuoi santi.	4 'Rescue the weak and the needy, save them from the clutches of the wicked.
5 Han detto: «Venite, disperdiamoli di tra le nazioni, e non si ricordi il nome d'Israele più oltre!».	5 'Ignorant and uncomprehending, they wander in darkness, while the foundations of the world aretottering.
6 Cospirano insieme, d'accordo; contro di te han fatto alleanza	6 I had thought, "Are you gods, are al of you sons of the Most High?"
7 i padiglioni degli Idumei e gl'Ismaeliti,Moab e gli Agareni,	7 No! you wil die as human beings do, as one man, princes, you will fal .'
8 Gebal e Ammon e Amalec, i Filistei con gli abitanti di Tiro;	8 Arise, God, judge the world, for al nations belong to you.
9 anche Assur viene con essi, presta aiuto ai figli di Lot.
10 Fa' a loro come [facesti] a Madian e a Sisara, come a Jabin sul torrente Cisson.
11 Furon sterminati in Endor, diventaron letame per il terreno!
12 Tratta i loro principi come Oreb e Zeb, e [come] Zebee e Salmana tutti i loro capi.
13 I quali han detto: «Impossessiamoci de' pascoli di Dio!».
14 Mio Dio, riducili come [cardi] turbinantie come paglia in faccia al vento!
15 Come il fuoco che abbrucia la selvae come la fiamma che incendia i monti,
16 così tu perseguili con la tua tempesta, e col tuo furore sgomentali!
17 Ricolma le loro facce d'ignominia, sì che cerchino il tuo nome, o Signore!
18 Arrossiscano e sian sgomenti ne' secoli, sian confusi e periscano.
19 E conoscano che tu hai nome il Signore, che sei tu solo l'Altissimo su tutta la terra!
