1 - Alleluia! Cantate al Signore un cantico nuovo, [risuoni] la sua lode nell'assemblea de' fedeli.	1 Hallelujah! Sing to the LORD a new song, a hymn in the assembly of the faithful.
2 Si rallegri Israele nel suo creatore, e i figliuoli di Sion esultino nel loro re.	2 Let Israel be glad in their maker, the people of Zion rejoice in their king.
3 Lodino il suo nome tra le danze, con timpani e cetra inneggino a lui.	3 Let them praise his name in festive dance, make music with tambourine and lyre.
4 Perchè si compiace il Signore nel suo popoloed esalta gli umili a vittoria.	4 For the LORD takes delight in his people, honors the poor with victory.
5 Esultino i fedeli nella gloriae si rallegrino sui loro giacigli.	5 Let the faithful rejoice in their glory, cry out for joy at their banquet,
6 Le esaltazioni di Dio [siano] nella lor gola, e spade a due tagli nelle lor mani:	6 With the praise of God in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hands,
7 per far vendetta tra le gentie castigare i popoli,	7 To bring retribution on the nations, punishment on the peoples,
8 per legare in ceppi i loro re e i loro grandi in manette di ferro,	8 To bind their kings with chains, shackle their nobles with irons,
9 per compiere su loro il giudizio [già] scritto: è questa la gloria [riservata] a tutti i suoi santi! [Alleluia!]	9 To execute the judgments decreed for them-- such is the glory of all God's faithful. Hallelujah!
