1 - Alleluia! Cantate al Signore un cantico nuovo, [risuoni] la sua lode nell'assemblea de' fedeli.	1 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
2 Si rallegri Israele nel suo creatore, e i figliuoli di Sion esultino nel loro re.	2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
3 Lodino il suo nome tra le danze, con timpani e cetra inneggino a lui.	3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
4 Perchè si compiace il Signore nel suo popoloed esalta gli umili a vittoria.	4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
5 Esultino i fedeli nella gloriae si rallegrino sui loro giacigli.	5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6 Le esaltazioni di Dio [siano] nella lor gola, e spade a due tagli nelle lor mani:	6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;
7 per far vendetta tra le gentie castigare i popoli,	7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
8 per legare in ceppi i loro re e i loro grandi in manette di ferro,	8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 per compiere su loro il giudizio [già] scritto: è questa la gloria [riservata] a tutti i suoi santi! [Alleluia!]	9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.
