1 - Ed il Signore parlò a Mosè, e gli disse:	1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 «Il primo mese, il giorno primo, erigerai il tabernacolo della testimontanza,	2 “In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall raise the tabernacle of the testimony,
3 e vi porrai l'arca, stenderai il velo davanti a questa,	3 and you shall place the ark in it, and you shall release the veil before it.
4 e, trasportatavi la mensa, vi porrai sopra quel che è stato ordinato secondo il rito. Davanti all'arca della testimonianza starà il candelabro con le sue lampade,	4 And having brought in the table, you shall place the things which were solemnly commanded upon it. The lampstand shall stand with its lamps,
5 e l'altare d'oro sul quale si brucia l'incenso. Porrai la cortina all' ingresso del tabernacolo,	5 and the altar of gold, in which the incense is burned, shall stand before the ark of the testimony. You shall place the tent at the entrance of the tabernacle,
6 ed avanti ad essa l'altare degli olocausti;	6 and before it, the altar of holocaust.
7 tra l'altare poi ed il tabernacolo, la vasca che riempirai d'acqua.	7 The washtub shall stand between the altar and the tabernacle, and you shall fill it with water.
8 Circonderai di cortine l'atrio ed il suo ingresso.	8 And you shall encompass the atrium and its entrance with hangings.
9 E preso l'olio della consacrazione, ne ungerai il tabernacolo co' suoi arredi acciò siano santificati,	9 And, having taken up the oil of unction, you shall anoint the tabernacle along with its articles, so that they may be sanctified.
10 l'altare degli olocausti e tutti i suoi arredi,	10 The altar of holocaust and all its vessels,
11 la vasca con la sua base; tutte queste cose, le consacrerai con l'olio della consacrazione acciò siano santissime.	11 the washtub with its base, and all things, you shall consecrate with the oil of unction, so that they may be the Holy of holies.
12 Farai venire Aronne ed i suoi figliuoli avanti all'ingresso del tabernacolo della testimonianza, e lavatili con acqua,	12 And you shall bring forward Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony, and, having washed them with water,
13 li vestirai delle vesti sacre, acciò siano miei ministri, e dalla loro consacrazione provenga un sacerdozio perpetuo».	13 you shall clothe them in the holy vestments, so that they may minister to me, and so that their unction may accomplish an everlasting priesthood.”
14 E Mosè fece tutto quello che gli ebbe comandato il Signore.	14 And Moses did all that the Lord had instructed.
15 Pertanto, il primo mese dell'anno secondo, il giorno primo del mese, fu messo a posto il tabernacolo.	15 Therefore, in the first month of the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was put in place.
16 Mosè lo eresse, e collocò le assi, le basi e le traverse; rizzò le colonne,	16 And Moses raised it up, and he positioned the panels as well as the bases and the bars, and he set up the columns,
17 stese la tenda sul tabernacolo, e vi pose sopra la copertura, come aveva comandato il Signore.	17 and he stretched out the roof over the tabernacle, imposing a cover above it, just as the Lord had decreed.
18 Mise nell'arca le tavole della legge, vi passò da piede le stanghe [per trasportarla] vi collocò sopra il propiziatorio.	18 And he placed the testimony in the ark, applying the bars beneath, and the oracle above.
19 E trasportata l'arca nel tabernacolo stese innanzi ad essa il velo, per adempire il comando del Signore.	19 And when he had brought the ark into the tabernacle, he drew the veil before it, in order to fulfill the commandment of the Lord.
20 Pose poi la mensa del tabernacolo della testimonianza dalla parte settentrionale, al di qua del velo,	20 And he placed the table in the tabernacle of the testimony, at the north side, beyond the veil,
21 espostivi sopra in ordine i pani della proposizione, come aveva comandato il Signore.	21 arranging before it the bread of the presence, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.
22 Dalla parte meridionale del tabernacolo della testimonianza, di contro alla mensa, pose il candelabro,	22 And he placed the lampstand in the tabernacle of the testimony, away from the table, on the south side,
23 collocatevi al loro posto le lampade, secondo l'ordine del Signore.	23 setting the lamps in order, according to the precept of the Lord.
24 Pose anche sotto la tenda della testimonianza, di faccia al velo, l'altare d'oro,	24 He also positioned the altar of gold under the roof of the testimony, opposite the veil,
25 e su quello bruciò l'incenso degli aromi, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.	25 and he heaped upon it the incense of aromatics, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
26 Collocò la cortina all'ingresso del tabernacolo della testimonianza,	26 And he positioned the tent at the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony,
27 e, nel vestibolo, di questo, l'altare degli olocausti, offrendovi l'olocausto ed i sacrifizi secondo che aveva comandato il Signore.	27 and the altar of holocaust in the vestibule of the testimony, offering the holocaust and the sacrifices upon it, just as the Lord had decreed.
28 Fra il tabernacolo della testimonianza e l'altare collocò la vasca, e l'empì d'acqua;	28 Likewise, he stationed the washtub between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar, filling it with water.
29 Mosè, Aronne, ed i suoi figli vi si lavarono, le mani ed i piedi	29 And Moses and Aaron, along with his sons, washed their hands and feet,
30 quando stavano per entrare nel padiglione dell'alleanza ed accostarsi all'altare, come il Signore aveva prescritto a Mosè.	30 whenever they would enter the covering of the covenant, and when they approached to the altar, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.
31 Costruì anche l'atrio tutto attorno al tabernacolo ed all'altare, e stese una cortina al suo ingresso. Poi che dunque tutto ciò fu compiuto,	31 And he raised up the atrium around the tabernacle and the altar, drawing the hanging at its entrance. After all these things were perfected,
32 la nube coprì il tabernacolo della testimonianza, e la gloria del Signore lo riempì.	32 the cloud covered the tabernacle of the testimony, and the glory of the Lord filled it.
33 Nè ardiva Mosè d'entrare nel padiglione dell'alleanza, avendo la nube ricoperto ogni cosa, e la maestà del Signore sfolgorando da ogni parte, tutto essendo ricoperto dalla nube.	33 Neither could Moses enter the covering of the covenant: the cloud was covering all things, and the majesty of the Lord was flashing. For the cloud had covered everything.
34 Quando poi la nube lasciava libero il tabernacolo, i figli di Israele si mettevano in cammino a schiere a schiere;	34 Whenever the cloud departed from the tabernacle, the sons of Israel set out by their companies.
35 quando vi si fermava sopra, anch'essi si fermavano in quel luogo.	35 But if it remained hanging over it, they remained in the same place.
36 Sul tabernacolo infatti incombeva di giorno la nube del Signore, e di notte un fuoco, vedendo ciò tutte le genti d'Israele in tutte le loro fermate.	36 Certainly, the cloud of the Lord lay over the tabernacle by day, and the fire by night, being seen by all the people of Israel throughout all their resting places.
