1 I secondi a uscire a sorte furono i figliuoli di Simeon distinti nelle loro famiglie: e il loro retaggio	1 And the second lot went out, for the sons of Simeon by their families. And their inheritance was,
2 Fu nel mezzo della porzione di Giuda, (ed ebbero) Bersabee, e Sabee, e Molada,	2 in the midst of the possession of the sons of Judah: Beersheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,
3 E Haser-sual, Bala, e Asem,	3 and Hazar-shual, Balah, and Ezem,
4 Ed Eltholad, Bethul, e Harma,	4 and Eltolad, Bethul, and Hormah,
5 E Siceleg, e Bethmarchaboth, e Hasersusa,	5 and Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,
6 E Beth-lebaoth, e Sarohem: tredici città co’ loro villaggi.	6 and Bethlebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen cities, and their villages;
7 Ain, e Remmon, e Athar, e Asan: quattro città co' loro villaggi:	7 Ain and Enrimmon, and Ether and Ashan: four cities, and their villages;
8 E tutti i castelli all'intorno di queste città fino a Balaath-Beer, Ramath, dalla parte di mezzodì. Questa è la porzione de' figliuoli di Simeon distinti nelle loro famiglie.	8 all villages around these cities, as far as Baalath-beer, the high place facing the southern region. This is the inheritance of the sons of Simeon, according to their families,
9 (La qual porzione) fu tolta dalla porzione, e dal retaggio di Giuda; perchè era troppo ampio: e per questo i figliuoli di Simeone ebbero la loro parte in mezzo alla porzione di Giuda.	9 within the possession and lot of the sons of Judah, which was greater. And for this reason, the sons of Simeon had a possession in the midst of their inheritance.
10 Uscirono in terzo luogo a sorte i figliuoli di Zabulon distinti nelle loro famiglie, e i confini del loro dominio andarono fino a Sarid.	10 And the third lot fell to the sons of Zebulun, by their families; and the limit of their possession was set as far as Sarid.
11 E salgono dal mare, e da Merala, e giungono a Debbaseth sino al torrente, che è dirimpetto a Jecona.	11 And it ascends from the sea and from Mareal. And it passes on to Dabbesheth, as far as the torrent, which is opposite Jokneam.
12 E volgono da Zared verso levante a' confini di Ceseleththabor: e s'inoltrano a Dabereth, e si avanzano verso Japhie.	12 And it turns back from Sarid, to the east, to the end of Chisloth-tabor. And it goes out to Daberath, and it ascends opposite Japhia.
13 E di là passano sino alla regione orientale di Geth-hepher, e di Thacasin: e vanno a Remmon, Amthar, e Noa.	13 And from there, it continues to the eastern region of Gathhepher and Ethkazin. And goes out to Rimmon, Amthar, and Neah.
14 E girano a settentrione verso Hanathon: e vanno a finire alla valle di Jephtahel	14 And it circles to the north at Hannathon. And its exits are at the Valley of Iphtahel;
15 Ed a Cateth, e Naalol, e Semeron, e Jedala, e Bethlehem: dodici città co' loro villaggi	15 and Kattath and Nahalal, and Shimron and Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities, and their villages.
16 Questa è la porzione, queste le città co' loro villaggi, che toccarono in sorte alla tribù de' figliuoli di Zabulon distinti nelle loro famiglie.	16 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, by their families, the cities and their villages.
17 Uscì in quarto luogo a sorte la tribù d'Issachar distinta nelle sue famiglie:	17 The fourth lot went out to Issachar, by their families.
18 Ed ebbe per sua porzione Jezrael, e Casaloth, e Sunem,	18 And his inheritance was: Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
19 E Hapharaim, e Seon, e Anabarath,	19 and Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,
20 E Rabboth, e Cesion, e Abes,	20 and Rabbith and Kishion, Ebez
21 E Rameth, e Engannim, e Enhadda, e Beth-pheses.	21 and Remeth, and Engannim, and Enhaddah, and Bethpazzez.
22 E i suoi confini arrivarono sino a Thabor, a Sehesima, e Bethsames: e finiscono al Giordano: sedici città co' loro villaggi.	22 And its limit reaches to Tabor and Shahazumah and Beth-shemesh; and its exits shall be at the Jordan: sixteen cities, and their villages.
23 Questa è la porzione, queste le città co' loro villaggi, che toccarono in sorte a' figliuoli d'Issachar distinti nelle loro famiglie.	23 This is the possession of the sons of Issachar by their families, the cities and their villages.
24 Uscì in quinto luogo a sorte la tribù de' figliuoli di Aser distinti nelle loro famiglie:	24 And the fifth lot fell to the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families.
25 E loro confini furono ad Halchath, e Chali, e Beten, e Axaph,	25 And their border was: Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,
26 Elmelech, e Amaad, e Messal: e vanno fino al Carmelo del mare, e a Sihor, e a Labanath.	26 and Allammelech, and Amad, and Mishal. And it extends even to Carmel by the sea, and Shihor, and Libnath.
27 E volgono a levante verso Beth-dagon: e passano fino a Zabulon, e alla valle di Jephtel verso tramontana, e fino a Bethemec, e Nehiel. E s'inoltra al lato sinistro di Cabul,	27 And it turns back toward the east at Bethdagon. And it continues on as far as Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtahel, toward the north, at Beth-emek and Neiel. And it goes out to the left of Cabul,
28 E ad Abran, e Rohob, e Hamon, e Cana, fino a Sidone la grande:	28 and to Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, as far as the great Sidon.
29 E tornano verso Horma fino alla città fortissima di Tiro, e fino ad Hosa: e finiscono al mare nel territorio di Achziba:	29 And it turns back at Ramah, even to the very fortified city of Tyre, and even to Hosah. And its exits shall be at the sea, from the lot of Achzib;
30 E includono Amma, e Aphec, e Rohob: ventidue città coi loro villaggi.	30 and Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities, and their villages.
31 Questa è la porzione, e queste le città co’ loro villaggi, che toccarono a' figliuoli di Aser distinti nelle loro famiglie.	31 This is the possession of the sons of Asher, by their families, and the cities and their villages.
32 Uscirono a sorte in sesto luogo i figliuoli di Nephtali distinti nelle loro famiglie:	32 The sixth lot fell to the sons of Naphtali, by their families.
33 E i loro confini cominciavano da Eleph, e da Elon in Saananim, e Adami, che dicesi anche Neceb, e da Jebnael fino a Lecum; e vanno a finire al Giordano:	33 And its border begins from Heleph and Elon, into Zaanannim, and Adami, which is Nekeb, and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum. And its exits are as far as the Jordan.
34 E volgono da occidente verso Azanotthabor, e di là vanno verso Hucuca, e passano a Zabulon dalla parte di mezzodì, e in Aser da occidente, e verso Giuda da levante,	34 And the border turns back to the west at Aznoth-tabor, and it goes out from there to Hukkok. And continues on to Zebulun, in the south, and to Asher, in the west, and to Judah, at the Jordan, toward the rising of the sun.
35 Sue città fortissime, Assedim, Ser, ed Emath, e Reccath, e Cenereth,	35 And the most fortified cities are Ziddim, Zer and Hammath, and Rakkath, and Chinnereth,
36 E Edema, e Arama, Asor:	36 and Adamah and Ramah, Hazor
37 E Cedes, ed Edrai, Enhasor,	37 and Kedesh and Edrei, Enhazor
38 E Jeron, e Magdalel, Horem, e Bethanath, e Bethsames: diciannove città co' loro villaggi.	38 and Yiron and Migdalel, Horem and Bethanath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen cities, and their villages.
39 Questa è la porzione, e queste le città co' loro villaggi possedute da' figliuoli di Nephtali distinti nelle loro famiglie.	39 This is the possession of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, by their families, the cities and their villages.
40 Uscì a sorte in settimo luogo la tribù de’ figliuoli di Dan distinti nelle lor famiglie:	40 The seventh lot went out to the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families.
41 E dentro i confini della loro porzione fu Sara, ed Esthaol, e Hirsemes, cioè città del Sole,	41 And the border of their possession was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh, that is, the City of the Sun,
42 Selebin, e Ajalon, e Jethela,	42 Sha-alabbin, and Aijalon, and Ithlah,
43 Elon, e Themna, e Acron,	43 Elon, and Timnah, and Ekron,
44 Elthece, Gebbethon, e Balaath,	44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon and Baalath,
45 E Jud, e Bane, e Barach, e Gethremmon:	45 and Jehud, and Bene and Berak, and Gath-Rimmon,
46 E Mejarcon, e Arecon con quel tratto che guarda Joppe:	46 and Mejarkon and Rakkon, with a border that looks toward Joppa,
47 E qui termina il loro confine. Ma i figliuoli di Dan si mossero, e assaltarono Lesem, e la presero: e tutto misero a fil di spada, e ne rimaser padroni, e vi abitarono, dandole il nome di Lesem-Dan dal nome di Dan loro padre.	47 and there the last part is concluded. 49 E finita che fu di distribuirsi a sorte la terra a tutti, tribù per tribù, i figliuoli d'Israele diedero a Giosuè figliuolo di Nun la sua porzione tra di loro,	49 And when he had completed dividing the land by lot to each one by their tribes, the sons of Israel gave a possession to Joshua, the son of Nun, in their midst,

51 Queste sono le porzioni distribuite a sorte da Eleazaro sacerdote, e da Giosuè figliuolo di Nun, e da' principi delle famiglie, e delle tribù de' figliuoli d'Israele in Silo, dinanzi al Signore alla porta del tabernacolo del testimonio, e questa fu la divisione che fecero del paese.	51 These are the possessions which Eleazar, the priest, and Joshua, the son of Nun, and the leaders of the families and tribes of the sons of Israel divided by lot at Shiloh, before the Lord, at the door of the Tabernacle of the Testimony. And so did they divide the land.
