1 I secondi a uscire a sorte furono i figliuoli di Simeon distinti nelle loro famiglie: e il loro retaggio	1 The second lot to come out was for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans; their heritagewas within the heritage of the sons of Judah.
2 Fu nel mezzo della porzione di Giuda, (ed ebbero) Bersabee, e Sabee, e Molada,	2 As heritage, they received:
3 E Haser-sual, Bala, e Asem,	3 Beersheba, Shema, Moladah,
4 Ed Eltholad, Bethul, e Harma,	4 Hazar-Shual, Balah, Ezem, Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,
5 E Siceleg, e Bethmarchaboth, e Hasersusa,	5 Ziklag, Beth-ha-Marcaboth, Hazar-Susa,
6 E Beth-lebaoth, e Sarohem: tredici città co’ loro villaggi.	6 Beth-Lebaoth and Sharuhen: thirteen towns and their vil ages.
7 Ain, e Remmon, e Athar, e Asan: quattro città co' loro villaggi:	7 Ain, Rimmon, Ether and Ashan: four towns and their villages,
8 E tutti i castelli all'intorno di queste città fino a Balaath-Beer, Ramath, dalla parte di mezzodì. Questa è la porzione de' figliuoli di Simeon distinti nelle loro famiglie.	8 with al the vil ages situated near these towns as far as Baalath-Beer and Ramah of the Negeb. Suchwas the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans.
9 (La qual porzione) fu tolta dalla porzione, e dal retaggio di Giuda; perchè era troppo ampio: e per questo i figliuoli di Simeone ebbero la loro parte in mezzo alla porzione di Giuda.	9 The heritage of the sons of Simeon was taken out of the portion of the sons of Judah, because theshare of the sons of Judah was too large for them; hence, the sons of Simeon received their heritage within theheritage of the sons of Judah.
10 Uscirono in terzo luogo a sorte i figliuoli di Zabulon distinti nelle loro famiglie, e i confini del loro dominio andarono fino a Sarid.	10 The third lot fel to the sons of Zebulun, by clans; the territory of their heritage stretched as far asSadud;
11 E salgono dal mare, e da Merala, e giungono a Debbaseth sino al torrente, che è dirimpetto a Jecona.	11 their frontier climbed westwards to Maraalah, touching Dabbesheth and the torrent facing Jokneam.
12 E volgono da Zared verso levante a' confini di Ceseleththabor: e s'inoltrano a Dabereth, e si avanzano verso Japhie.	12 From Sadud, the frontier turned east, towards the rising sun, as far as the frontier of Chisloth-Tabor; itcame out at Dobrath and went up to Japhia.
13 E di là passano sino alla regione orientale di Geth-hepher, e di Thacasin: e vanno a Remmon, Amthar, e Noa.	13 Thence, it went east, towards the sunrise, to Gath-Hepher and Ittah-Kazin, came out at Rimmon andturned towards Neah.
14 E girano a settentrione verso Hanathon: e vanno a finire alla valle di Jephtahel	14 The northern frontier turned towards Hannathon and came to an end in the Val ey of Iphtah-El;
15 Ed a Cateth, e Naalol, e Semeron, e Jedala, e Bethlehem: dodici città co' loro villaggi	15 with Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Iralah and Bethlehem: twelve towns with their villages.
16 Questa è la porzione, queste le città co' loro villaggi, che toccarono in sorte alla tribù de' figliuoli di Zabulon distinti nelle loro famiglie.	16 Such was the heritage of the sons of Zebulun, by clans: these towns with their vil ages.
17 Uscì in quarto luogo a sorte la tribù d'Issachar distinta nelle sue famiglie:	17 The fourth lot came out for Issachar, for the sons of Issachar, by clans.
18 Ed ebbe per sua porzione Jezrael, e Casaloth, e Sunem,	18 Their territory stretched towards Jezreel and included Chesul oth, Shunem,
19 E Hapharaim, e Seon, e Anabarath,	19 Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,
20 E Rabboth, e Cesion, e Abes,	20 Dobrath, Kishion, Ebez,
21 E Rameth, e Engannim, e Enhadda, e Beth-pheses.	21 Remeth, En-Gannim, En-Haddah and Beth-Pazzez.
22 E i suoi confini arrivarono sino a Thabor, a Sehesima, e Bethsames: e finiscono al Giordano: sedici città co' loro villaggi.	22 Their frontier touched Tabor, Shahazimah and Beth-Shemesh, and the frontier came to an end at theJordan: sixteen towns with their vil ages.
23 Questa è la porzione, queste le città co' loro villaggi, che toccarono in sorte a' figliuoli d'Issachar distinti nelle loro famiglie.	23 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, by clans: the towns and their vil ages.
24 Uscì in quinto luogo a sorte la tribù de' figliuoli di Aser distinti nelle loro famiglie:	24 The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the sons of Asher, by clans.
25 E loro confini furono ad Halchath, e Chali, e Beten, e Axaph,	25 Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,
26 Elmelech, e Amaad, e Messal: e vanno fino al Carmelo del mare, e a Sihor, e a Labanath.	26 Alammelech, Amad and Mishal.
27 E volgono a levante verso Beth-dagon: e passano fino a Zabulon, e alla valle di Jephtel verso tramontana, e fino a Bethemec, e Nehiel. E s'inoltra al lato sinistro di Cabul,	27 On the west, it touched Carmel and the course of the Libnath. On the side of the rising sun, it went asfar as Beth-Dagon, touched Zebulun, the Val ey of Iphtah-El on the north side, Beth-ha-Emek and Neiel, comingout with Cabul on the left,
28 E ad Abran, e Rohob, e Hamon, e Cana, fino a Sidone la grande:	28 with Abdon, Rehob, Hammon and Kanah as far as Sidon the Great. The frontier then turned towardsRamah, as far as the fortress-town of Tyre;
29 E tornano verso Horma fino alla città fortissima di Tiro, e fino ad Hosa: e finiscono al mare nel territorio di Achziba:	29 the frontier then went to Hosah and reached as far as the sea at Mahalab and Achzib,
30 E includono Amma, e Aphec, e Rohob: ventidue città coi loro villaggi.	30 with Acco, Aphek and Rehob: twenty-two towns with their vil ages.
31 Questa è la porzione, e queste le città co’ loro villaggi, che toccarono a' figliuoli di Aser distinti nelle loro famiglie.	31 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Asher, by clans; these towns and their vil ages.
32 Uscirono a sorte in sesto luogo i figliuoli di Nephtali distinti nelle loro famiglie:	32 To the sons of Naphtali fel the sixth portion, to the sons of Naphtali, by clans.
33 E i loro confini cominciavano da Eleph, e da Elon in Saananim, e Adami, che dicesi anche Neceb, e da Jebnael fino a Lecum; e vanno a finire al Giordano:	33 Their frontier went from Heleph and the Oak of Zanaannim, with Adami-ha-Negeb and Jabneel, as faras Lakkum, and ended at the Jordan.
34 E volgono da occidente verso Azanotthabor, e di là vanno verso Hucuca, e passano a Zabulon dalla parte di mezzodì, e in Aser da occidente, e verso Giuda da levante,	34 The westward boundary ran to Aznoth-Tabor and thence came out at Hukkok, marching with Zebulunin the south, Asher in the west and the Jordan in the east.
35 Sue città fortissime, Assedim, Ser, ed Emath, e Reccath, e Cenereth,	35 The fortified towns were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,
36 E Edema, e Arama, Asor:	36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,
37 E Cedes, ed Edrai, Enhasor,	37 Kedesh, Edrei, En-Hazor,
38 E Jeron, e Magdalel, Horem, e Bethanath, e Bethsames: diciannove città co' loro villaggi.	38 Jiron, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath and Beth-Shemesh: nineteen towns and their vil ages.
39 Questa è la porzione, e queste le città co' loro villaggi possedute da' figliuoli di Nephtali distinti nelle loro famiglie.	39 Such was the heritage of the sons of Naphtali, by clans: the towns and their vil ages.
40 Uscì a sorte in settimo luogo la tribù de’ figliuoli di Dan distinti nelle lor famiglie:	40 To the tribe of the sons of Dan, by clans, fel the seventh portion.
41 E dentro i confini della loro porzione fu Sara, ed Esthaol, e Hirsemes, cioè città del Sole,	41 The territory of their heritage comprised: Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-Shemesh,
42 Selebin, e Ajalon, e Jethela,	42 Shaalbim, Aijalon, Silatha,
43 Elon, e Themna, e Acron,	43 Elon, Timnah, Ekron,
44 Elthece, Gebbethon, e Balaath,	44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon,
45 E Jud, e Bane, e Barach, e Gethremmon:	45 Baalath, Azor, Bene-Berak and Gath-Rimmon;
46 E Mejarcon, e Arecon con quel tratto che guarda Joppe:	46 and, by the sea, Jerakon with the territory facing Jaffa.
47 E qui termina il loro confine. Ma i figliuoli di Dan si mossero, e assaltarono Lesem, e la presero: e tutto misero a fil di spada, e ne rimaser padroni, e vi abitarono, dandole il nome di Lesem-Dan dal nome di Dan loro padre.	47 The territory of the sons of Dan eluded them, however, and the sons of Dan consequently went upand attacked Leshem, captured it and put it to the sword. Having gained possession of it, they settled there andcal ed Leshem, Dan, after Dan their ancestor.

49 E finita che fu di distribuirsi a sorte la terra a tutti, tribù per tribù, i figliuoli d'Israele diedero a Giosuè figliuolo di Nun la sua porzione tra di loro,	49 Having finished dividing the country, frontier by frontier, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun aheritage among themselves;

51 Queste sono le porzioni distribuite a sorte da Eleazaro sacerdote, e da Giosuè figliuolo di Nun, e da' principi delle famiglie, e delle tribù de' figliuoli d'Israele in Silo, dinanzi al Signore alla porta del tabernacolo del testimonio, e questa fu la divisione che fecero del paese.	51 Such are the heritages which the priest Eleazar, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of each familyapportioned by lot between the tribes of Israel at Shiloh, in Yahweh's presence, at the door of the Tent ofMeeting; and thus the apportioning of the country was completed.
