2 Il Signore ama le porte di Sion più che tutti i tabernacoli di Giacobbe.	2 the Lord loves the gates of Zion above all the tabernacles of Jacob.
3 Grandi cose sono dette di te, o città di Dio.	3 Glorious things are being said of you, O City of God.
4 Io mi ricorderò di Rahab e di Babilonia, fra quei che mi conoscono. Ecco gli stranieri, i Tiri e il popolo degli Etiopi, che vi sono stati.	4 I will be mindful of Rahab and of Babylon knowing me. Behold, the foreigners, and Tyre, and the people of the Ethiopians: these have been there.
5 Forse non si dirà di Sion: « L'uomo, l'uomo è nato in lei, e l'Altissimo è colui che l'ha fondata? »	5 Will not Zion say that this man and that man were born in her? And the Most High himself has founded her.
6 Il Signore scriverà nel registro dei popoli e dei principi quelli che sono stati in lei.	6 The Lord will explain, in the writings of peoples and of leaders, about those who have been in her.
7 Quelli che abitano in te son tutti lieti e festosi.	7 For so the dwelling place within you is with all rejoicing.
