1 - Cantico de' gradini. Dal profondo io grido a te, o Signore,	1 A Canticle in steps. From the depths, I have cried out to you, O Lord.
2 Signore, ascolta la mia voce. Siano attenti i tuoi orecchi alla voce della mia supplica.	2 O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.
3 Se badi alle iniquità, o Signore, Signore, chi mai potrà reggere?	3 If you, O Lord, were to heed iniquities, who, O Lord, could persevere?
4 Ma presso di te è misericordia e per via della tua legge io confido in te, o Signore. Confida l'anima mia nella tua parola,	4 For with you, there is forgiveness, and because of your law, I persevered with you, Lord. My soul has persevered in his word.
5 spera l'anima mia nel Signore.	5 My soul has hoped in the Lord.
6 Dalla vigilia del mattino sino a nottesperi Israele nel Signore.	6 From the morning watch, even until night, let Israel hope in the Lord.
7 Perchè presso il Signore è la misericordia, e copioso riscatto è presso di lui.	7 For with the Lord there is mercy, and with him there is bountiful redemption.
8 Ed egli riscatterà Israeleda tutte le sue iniquità.	8 And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
