1 - Alleluia! Aleph. Beati quei che son senza macchia nella [lor] via, che camminano secondo la legge del Signore.	1 Alleluia. ALEPH. Blessed are the immaculate in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 Beati quei che scrutano [e osservano] le sue massime, [che] con tutto il cuore le cercano.	2 Blessed are those who examine his testimonies. They seek him with their whole heart.
3 Che non operano iniquità, [e] nelle sue vie camminano.	3 For those who work iniquity have not walked in his ways.
4 Tu hai ingiunto, i tuoi comandamenti, perchè fossero osservati rigorosamente.	4 You have ordered your commandments to be kept most diligently.
5 Oh! siano indirizzati [e rafforzati] i miei passi, a custodire i tuoi statuti.	5 I wish that my ways may be directed so as to keep your justifications.
6 Non arrossirò allora, se avrò badato a tutti i tuoi precetti.	6 Then I will not be confounded, when I will look into all your commandments.
7 Ti celebrerò con rettitudine di cuore, perchè ho imparato i giudizi della tua giustizia.	7 I will confess to you with honesty of heart. In this way, I have learned the judgments of your justice.
8 I tuoi statuti custodirò: non m'abbandonare interamente! Beth.	8 I will keep your justifications. Do not utterly abandon me.
9 Come purifica il giovane la sua condotta? Osservando la tua parola.	9 BETH. By what does an adolescent correct his way? By keeping to your words.
10 Con tutto il cuor mio ti cerco, non mi [far] deviare da' tuoi precetti.	10 With my whole heart, I have sought you. Do not let me be driven away from your commandments.
11 Nel mio cuore ho riposto tutti i tuoi detti, per non peccare contro di te.	11 I have hidden your eloquence in my heart, so that I may not sin against you.
12 Benedetto sii tu, o Signore; insegnami i tuoi statuti!	12 Blessed are you, O Lord. Teach me your justifications.
13 Con le mie labbra enunciotutti i giudizi della tua bocca.	13 With my lips, I have pronounced all the judgments of your mouth.
14 Nella via delle tue massime mi diletto, come [e più che] in ogni ricchezza.	14 I have been delighted in the way of your testimonies, as if in all riches.
15 I tuoi comandamenti io meditoe bado alle tue vie.	15 I will be trained in your commandments, and I will consider your ways.
16 Sui tuoi statuti io medito [con diletto], non dimentico la tua parola. Ghimel.	16 I will meditate on your justifications. I will not forget your words.
17 Fa' del bene al tuo servo, fa' ch'io viva, e osserverò la tua parola.	17 GHIMEL. Repay your servant, revive me; and I will keep your words.
18 Togli il velo ai miei occhi e considereròle maraviglie della tua legge.	18 Reveal to my eyes, and I will consider the wonders of your law.
19 Forestiero io son sulla terra, non nascondere a me i tuoi precetti.	19 I am a sojourner on the earth. Do not hide your commandments from me.
20 Si consuma l'anima mia di desiderioper i tuoi giudizi in ogni tempo.	20 My soul has longed to desire your justifications at all times.
21 Tu minacci i superbi: maledettiquei che deviano da' tuoi precetti!	21 You have rebuked the arrogant. Those who decline from your commandments are accursed.
22 Togli via da me l'obbrobrio e il dispregio, perchè le tue massime io curo.	22 Take me away from disgrace and contempt, for I have sought your testimonies.
23 S'assidono anche i principi e parlan contro di me; ma il tuo servo medita i tuoi statuti.	23 For even the leaders sat and spoke against me. But your servant has been trained in your justifications.
24 Invero le tue massime son la mia meditazione [e la mia delizia], e i tuoi statuti i miei consiglieri. Daleth.	24 For your testimonies are also my meditation, and your justifications are my counsel.
25 Prostesa a terra è l'anima mia, rimettimi tu in vita secondo la tua parola.	25 DALETH. My soul has adhered to the pavement. Revive me according to your word.
26 Le mie vie t'ho esposto e m'hai ascoltato; insegnami i tuoi statuti.	26 I have declared my ways, and you have heeded me. Teach me your justifications.
27 La via de' tuoi comandamenti fammi conoscere, e mediterò sulle tue maraviglie.	27 Instruct me in the way of your justifications, and I will be trained in your wonders.
28 Dorme l'anima mia per il tedio, confortami secondo la tua parola.	28 My soul has slumbered because of weariness. Confirm me in your words.
29 La via dell'iniquità [e della menzogna] allontana da me, e per la tua legge abbi pietà di me.	29 Remove the way of iniquity from me, and have mercy on me by your law.
30 La via della fedeltà ho scelto, i tuoi giudizi non dimentico.	30 I have chosen the way of truth. I have not forgotten your judgments.
31 Mi sono attaccato alle tue massime, o Signore, non mi fare arrossire.	31 I have adhered to your testimonies, O Lord. Do not be willing to confound me.
32 La via de' tuoi precetti io corro, quando tu allarghi il mio cuore. He.	32 I have run by way of your commandments, when you enlarged my heart.
33 Insegnami, o Signore, la via de' tuoi statutie la ricercherò [e custodirò] sempre.	33 HE. O Lord, place the law before me, the way of your justifications, and I will always inquire into it.
34 Dammi intelletto e scruterò [e custodirò] la tua legge e l'osserverò con tutto il mio cuore.	34 Give me understanding, and I will examine your law. And I will keep it with my whole heart.
35 Guidami per il sentiero de' tuoi precetti, perchè in esso mi compiaccio.	35 Lead me according to the path of your commandments, for I have desired this.
36 Piega il mio cuore verso le tue massime e non verso la cupidigia.	36 Bend my heart with your testimonies, and not with avarice.
37 Distogli i miei occhi dal veder la vanità, nella tua via rimettimi in vita.	37 Turn my eyes away, lest they see what is vain. Revive me in your way.
38 Mantieni al tuo servo il tuo detto[a chi vive] nel timor tuo.	38 Station your eloquence with your servant, along with your fear.
39 Taglia via da me l'obbrobrio che pavento, perchè i tuoi giudizi son [buoni e] lieti.	39 Cut off my disgrace, which I have taken up, for your judgments are delightful.
40 Ecco, io bramo i tuoi comandamenti: nella tua equità rimettimi in vita. Van.	40 Behold, I have longed for your commandments. Revive me in your fairness.
41 E venga su me la tua misericordia, o Signore, la tua salvezza secondo il tuo detto.	41 VAU. And let your mercy overwhelm me, O Lord: your salvation according to your eloquence.
42 E saprò che rispondere ai miei ingiuriatori, poichè confido nella tua parola.	42 And I will respond to those who reproach me by word, for I have hoped in your words.
43 Non toglier dalla mia bocca la parola di verità, perchè nei tuoi giudizi fortemente io spero.	43 And do not utterly take away the word of truth from my mouth. For in your judgments, I have hoped beyond hope.
44 E osserverò la tua legge sempre, in perpetuo e ne' secoli de' secoli.	44 And I will always keep your law, in this age and forever and ever.
45 E camminerò all'aperto, perchè i tuoi comandamenti io ricerco.	45 And I have wandered far and wide, because I was seeking your commandments.
46 E parlerò delle tue massime al cospetto de' re, e non avrò rossore.	46 And I spoke of your testimonies in the sight of kings, and I was not confounded.
47 E mediterò [con diletto] sui tuoi precettiche io amo.	47 And I meditated on your commandments, which I loved.
48 E metterò mano ai tuoi precetti che io amo, e mediterò sui tuoi statuti. Zain.	48 And I lifted up my hands to your commandments, which I loved. And I was trained in your justifications.
49 Rammentati della tua parola al tuo servo, con la quale mi hai dato speranza.	49 ZAIN. Be mindful of your word to your servant, by which you have given me hope.
50 È questo il mio conforto nell'afflizione mia, chè il tuo detto mi rimette in vita.	50 This has consoled me in my humiliation, for your word has revived me.
51 I superbi agiscono iniquamente [contro di me] in ogni maniera.ma dalla tua legge io non devio.	51 The arrogant act altogether iniquitously, but I have not turned aside from your law.
52 Rammento i tuoi giudizi ab antico, o Signore, e mi consolo.	52 I called to mind your judgments of antiquity, O Lord, and I was consoled.
53 Sdegno mi piglia per i malvagi, che abbandonan la tua legge.	53 Faintness has taken hold of me, because of the sinners, those who abandon your law.
54 Canti son per me i tuoi statutinella dimora della mia peregrinazione.	54 Your justifications were the subject of my worthy singing, in the place of my pilgrimage.
55 Rammento la notte il tuo nome, o Signore, e osservo la tua legge.	55 During the night, I remembered your name, O Lord, and I kept your law.
56 Tanto avviene a me, perchè i tuoi statuti io cerco. Heth.	56 This has happened to me because I sought your justifications.
57 La mia porzione, o Signore, - io ho detto -è d'osservar le tue parole.	57 HETH. O Lord, my portion, I have said that I would keep your law.
58 Imploro il tuo favore con tutto il mio cuore: abbi pietà di me secondo il tuo detto.	58 I have beseeched your face with my whole heart. Be merciful to me according to your word.
59 Io penso alle mie vie, e volgo i miei passi verso le tue massime.	59 I have considered my ways, and I have turned my feet toward your testimonies.
60 Son pronto, e non son turbato, ad osservare i tuoi precetti.	60 I have been prepared, and I have not been disturbed, so that I may keep your commandments.
61 I lacci degli empi m'han stretto all'intorno, ma la tua legge non ho dimenticato.	61 The ropes of the impious have encircled me, and I have not forgotten your law.
62 A mezza notte mi levo a lodartiper i giudizi della tua giustizia.	62 I arose in the middle of the night to confess to you, over the judgments of your justification.
63 Compagno io sono di tutti quei che ti temonoe osservano i tuoi comandamenti.	63 I am a partaker with all those who fear you and who keep your commandments.
64 Della tua bontà, o Signore, è piena la terra: i tuoi statuti insegnami. Teth.	64 The earth, O Lord, is full of your mercy. Teach me your justifications.
65 Bontà tu hai usato col tuo servo, o Signore, secondo la tua parola.	65 TETH. You have done well with your servant, O Lord, according to your word.
66 Bontà e senno e intelligenza insegnami, perchè ne' tuoi precetti ho fede.	66 Teach me goodness and discipline and knowledge, for I have trusted your commandments.
67 Prima ch'io fossi afflitto, ho commesso falli; ma ora il tuo detto osservo.	67 Before I was humbled, I committed offenses; because of this, I have kept to your word.
68 Buono tu sei, e nella tua bontàinsegnami i tuoi statuti.	68 You are good, so in your goodness teach me your justifications.
69 S'è moltiplicata contro di me l'iniquità de' superbi, ma io con tutto il mio cuore scruto [e osservo] i tuoi comandamenti.	69 The iniquity of the arrogant has been multiplied over me. Yet I will examine your commandments with all my heart.
70 S'è coagulato come latte il cuor loro, ma io la tua legge medito [con diletto].	70 Their heart has been curdled like milk. Truly, I have meditated on your law.
71 Buon per me che m'hai afflitto, perchè imparassi i tuoi statuti.	71 It is good for me that you humbled me, so that I may learn your justifications.
72 Miglior cosa è per me la legge della tua bocca, che migliaia [di pezzi] d'oro e d'argento. Jod.	72 The law of your mouth is good for me, beyond thousands of gold and silver pieces.
73 Le tue mani m'han fatto e plasmato: dammi intelletto e imparerò i tuoi precetti.	73 IOD. Your hands have created me and formed me. Give me understanding, and I will learn your commandments.
74 Quei che ti temono mi vedranno e si rallegreranno, perchè nella tua parola fortemente io spero.	74 Those who fear you will see me, and they will rejoice. For I have greatly hoped in your words.
75 Io so, o Signore, che sono equità i tuoi giudizie nella tua fedeltà tu mi triboli.	75 I know, O Lord, that your judgments are fairness. And in your truth, you have humbled me.
76 Oh! la tua misericordia mi consoli, secondo il tuo detto al tuo servo!	76 Let it be your mercy that consoles me, according to your eloquence to your servant.
77 Vengano a me le tue compassioni e vivrò, perchè la tua legge è la meditazione [e la delizia] mia.	77 Let your compassion draw near to me, and I will live. For your law is my meditation.
78 Sian confusi i superbi che ingiustamente m'han leso: io medito sui tuoi comandamenti.	78 Let the arrogant be confounded, for unjustly they have done iniquity to me. But I will be trained in your commandments.
79 Si volgano a me quei che ti temonoe conoscon le tue massime.	79 Let those who fear you turn to me, along with those who know your testimonies.
80 Sia il mio cuore irreprensibile ne' tuoi statuti, perchè io non abbia ad arrossire. caph.	80 Let my heart be immaculate in your justifications, so that I may not be confounded.
81 languisce [di desiderio] per la tua salvezza l'anima mia, e nella tua parola fortemente io spero.	81 CAPH. My soul has faltered in your salvation, yet in your word, I have hoped beyond hope.
82 Languono i miei occhi per il tuo detto, ripetendo: «Quando mi consolerai?».	82 My eyes have failed in your eloquence, saying, “When will you console me?”
83 Perchè son diventato come un otre [esposto] alla brinata, [e tuttavia] i tuoi statuti non ho dimenticato.	83 For I have become like a wineskin in the frost. I have not forgotten your justifications.
84 Quanti son mai i giorni del tuo servo? quando farai tu de' miei persecutori giudizio?	84 How many are the days of your servant? When will you bring judgment against those who persecute me?
85 Gl'iniqui m'han contato favole; ma non come la tua legge!	85 The iniquitous have spoken fables to me. But these are unlike your law.
86 Tutti i tuoi precetti son verità: ingiustamente mi perseguitano, salvami tu.	86 All your commandments are truth. They have been persecuting me unjustly: assist me.
87 Per poco m'han finito sulla terra; ma io non ho abbandonato i tuoi comandamenti.	87 They have nearly consumed me on earth. Yet I have not forsaken your commandments.
88 Per la tua misericordia rimettimi in vita, e osserverò le massime della tua bocca. Lamed.	88 Revive me according to your mercy. And I will keep the testimonies of your mouth.
89 In eterno, o Signore, la tua parola perdura ne' cieli.	89 LAMED. O Lord, your word remains firm in heaven, for all eternity.
90 Di generazione in generazione la tua fedeltà [rimane]: hai fondato la terra e sta salda.	90 Your truth is from generation to generation. You have founded the earth, and it remains firm.
91 Per tuo ordine persiste il giorno, perchè ogni cosa è al tuo servizio.	91 By your ordinance, the day perseveres. For all things are in service to you.
92 Se la tua legge non fosse stata la mia meditazione[e la mia delizia], già forse sarei perito nella mia miseria.	92 If your law had not been my meditation, then perhaps I would have perished in my humiliation.
93 In eterno non mi scorderò de' tuoi statuti, perchè per essi mi rimetti in vita.	93 I will not forget your justifications, for eternity. For by them, you have enlivened me.
94 Tuo io sono, salvami!perchè i tuoi statuti io cerco.	94 I am yours. Accomplish my salvation. For I have inquired into your justifications.
95 M'aspettano [al varco] gli empi per rovinarmi: alle tue massime io bado.	95 The sinners have waited for me, in order to destroy me. I have understood your testimonies.
96 Di ogni perfezione ho visto un limite;[ma] vasto è il tuo precetto oltremodo. Mem.	96 I have seen the end of the consummation of all things. Your commandment is exceedingly broad.
97 Come amo la tua legge, o Signore!tutto il giorno è la mia meditazione.	97 MEM. How have I loved your law, O Lord? It is my meditation all day long.
98 Più savio de' miei nemici tu m'hai fatto col tuo precetto, perchè in eterno esso m'appartiene.	98 By your commandment, you have made me able to see far, beyond my enemies. For it is with me for eternity.
99 Più di tutti i miei maestri io capisco, perchè le tue massime son la mia meditazione.	99 I have understood beyond all my teachers. For your testimonies are my meditation.
100 Più de' vecchi ho senno, perchè i tuoi comandamenti io ricerco [e osservo].	100 I have understood beyond the elders. For I have searched your commandments.
101 Da ogni cattivo sentiero ritraggo i miei piedi, per custodir la tua parola.	101 I have prohibited my feet from every evil way, so that I may keep your words.
102 Dai tuoi giudizi non devio, perchè tu m'ammaestri.	102 I have not declined from your judgments, because you have stationed a law for me.
103 Quanto dolci al mio palato sono i tuoi detti!più che il miele alla mia bocca!	103 How sweet is your eloquence to my palate, more so than honey to my mouth!
104 Dai tuoi comandamenti acquisto intelligenza; perciò odio ogni via d'iniquità! Nun.	104 I obtained understanding by your commandments. Because of this, I have hated every way of iniquity.
105 Una lampada ai miei piedi è la tua parolae una luce ai miei sentieri.	105 NUN. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my paths.
106 Ho giurato ed ho stabilitodi osservare i giudizi della tua giustizia.	106 I have sworn it, and so I am determined to keep the judgments of your justice.
107 Afflitto son profondamente, o Signore, rimettimi tu in vita secondo la tua parola.	107 I have been altogether humbled, Lord. Revive me according to your word.
108 Le [offerte] spontanee della mia bocca gradisci, o Signore, e i tuoi giudizi insegnami.	108 Make the willing offerings of my mouth well pleasing, Lord, and teach me your judgments.
109 L'anima mia è sulle mie mani sempre, ma la tua legge non ho dimenticato.	109 My soul is always in my hands, and I have not forgotten your law.
110 Gli empi tendon lacci per me, ma dai tuoi comandamenti non devio.	110 Sinners have set a snare for me, yet I have not strayed from your commandments.
111 Mia eredità son le tue massime in eterno, perchè son gaudio del mio cuore.	111 I have acquired your testimonies as an inheritance unto eternity, because they are the exultation of my heart.
112 Ho inclinato il mio cuore ad eseguire i tuoi statutiin eterno, a motivo della ricompensa. Samech.	112 I have inclined my heart to do your justifications for eternity, as a recompense.
113 Gl'iniqui ho in odioe la tua legge io amo.	113 SAMECH. I have hated the iniquitous, and I have loved your law.
114 Aiuto e difensore mio tu sei, e nella tua parola fortemente io spero.	114 You are my helper and my supporter. And in your word, I have greatly hoped.
115 Scostatevi da me, o malvagi, e scruterò [e osserverò] i precetti del mio Dio.	115 Turn away from me, you malignant ones. And I will examine the commandments of my God.
116 Sostienimi secondo il tuo detto e vivrò, e non mi fare arrossir per la mia speranza.	116 Uphold me according to your eloquence, and I will live. And let me not be confounded in my expectation.
117 Aiutami e sarò salvo, e mediterò sui tuoi statuti sempre.	117 Help me, and I will be saved. And I will meditate always on your justifications.
118 Tu disprezzi tutti quelli che s'allontanano da' tuoi giudizi, perchè ingiusto è il loro pensiero.	118 You have despised all those who fell away from your judgments. For their intention is unjust.
119 Fuorviati reputo tutti i peccatori della terra, perciò io amo le tue massime.	119 I have considered all the sinners of the earth to be transgressors. Therefore, I have loved your testimonies.
120 Trafiggi col tuo timore le mie carni, che i tuoi giudizi io pavento. Ain.	120 Pierce my flesh with your fear, for I am afraid of your judgments.
121 Adempio il giudizio e la giustizia: non m'abbandonare a' miei calunniatori [e persecutori].	121 AIN. I have accomplished judgment and justice. Do not hand me over to those who slander me.
122 Datti cura del tuo servo per il [suo] bene, non mi calunnino [nè m'opprimano] i superbi.	122 Uphold your servant in what is good. And do not allow the arrogant to slander me.
123 I miei occhi languono [di desiderio] per la tua salvezzae per il detto della tua giustizia.	123 My eyes have failed in your salvation and in the eloquence of your justice.
124 Fa' col tuo servo secondo la tua misericordia, e i tuoi statuti insegnami.	124 Deal with your servant according to your mercy, and teach me your justifications.
125 Tuo servo io sono: dammi intellettoper conoscer le tue massime.	125 I am your servant. Give me understanding, so that I may know your testimonies.
126 È tempo d'agire, o Signore!han spazzato via la tua legge.	126 It is time to act, O Lord. They have dissipated your law.
127 Perciò io amo i tuoi precettipiù dell'oro e del topazio.	127 Therefore, I have loved your commandments beyond gold and topaz.
128 Perciò secondo tutti i tuoi comandamenti io mi dirigoe ogni via iniqua [di menzogna] detesto. Phe.	128 Because of this, I was directed toward all your commandments. I held hatred for every iniquitous way.
129 Mirabili son le tue massime: perciò le scruta [e osserva] l'anima mia.	129 PHE. Your testimonies are wonderful. Therefore, my soul has been examined by them.
130 La rivelazione delle tue parole illuminae dà intelligenza ai semplici.	130 The declaration of your words illuminates, and it gives understanding to little ones.
131 Apro la mia bocca e aspiro, perchè de' tuoi precetti ho brama.	131 I opened my mouth and drew breath, for I desired your commandments.
132 Guardami e abbi pietà di meconforme al giudizio per quei che amano il tuo nome.	132 Gaze upon me and be merciful to me, according to the judgment of those who love your name.
133 I miei passi guida [e rafferma] a seconda del tuo detto, e non mi domini ingiustizia veruna.	133 Direct my steps according to your eloquence, and let no injustice rule over me.
134 Liberami dalle calunnie [e dall'oppressione] degli uomini, perchè io osservi i tuoi comandamenti.	134 Redeem me from the slanders of men, so that I may keep your commandments.
135 Fa' risplender la tua faccia sul servo tuo, e insegnami i tuoi statuti.	135 Make your face shine upon your servant, and teach me your justifications.
136 Torrenti d'acqua versano i miei occhi, perchè non s'osserva la tua legge. Sade.	136 My eyes have gushed like springs of water, because they have not kept your law.
137 Giusto tu sei, o Signore, e retto è il tuo giudizio.	137 SADE. You are just, O Lord, and your judgment is right.
138 Hai ingiunto [con] giustizia le tue massime e [con] verità stragrande.	138 You have commanded justice: your testimonies and your truth even more so.
139 Mi consuma il mio zeloperchè han dimenticato le tue parole i miei nemici.	139 My zeal has caused me to pine away, because my enemies have forgotten your words.
140 Depurato intensamente al fuoco è il tuo detto, e il tuo servo lo ama.	140 Your eloquence has been greatly enflamed, and your servant has loved it.
141 Piccolo io sono e disprezzato, [ma] i tuoi statuti non dimentico.	141 I am young and treated with contempt. But I have not forgotten your justifications.
142 La tua giustizia è giustizia in eternoe la tua legge verità.	142 Your justice is justice for all eternity, and your law is truth.
143 Tribolazione e angustia m'hanno incolto: i tuoi precetti son la mia meditazione [e la mia delizia].	143 Tribulation and anguish have found me. Your commandments are my meditation.
144 Equità son le tue massime in eterno: dammi intelletto e vivrò. Coph.	144 Your testimonies are fairness unto eternity. Give me understanding, and I will live.
145 Grido con tutto il mio cuore: ascoltami, o Signore!i tuoi statuti ricercherò e [osserverò].	145 COPH. I cried out with my whole heart. Heed me, O Lord. I will ask for your justifications.
146 Grido a te, salvami!affinchè io osservi i tuoi comandamenti.	146 I cried out to you. Save me, so that I may keep your commandments.
147 Prevengo l'aurora e grido, perchè nelle tue parole fortemente io spero.	147 I arrived first in maturity, and so I cried out. For in your words, I have hoped beyond hope.
148 Prevengono i miei occhi, a te [rivolti], il crepuscolo, per meditare i tuoi detti.	148 My eyes preceded the dawn for you, so that I might meditate on your eloquence.
149 La mia voce deh! ascolta secondo la tua misericordia, o Signore, e secondo il tuo giudizio rimettimi in vita.	149 Hear my voice according to your mercy, O Lord. And revive me according to your judgment.
150 Si avvicinano i miei persecutori all'iniquità, dalla tua legge si sono allontanati.	150 Those who persecute me have drawn near to iniquity, but they been brought far from your law.
151 [Ma] vicino sei tu, o Signore, e tutte le tue vie son verità.	151 You are near, O Lord, and all your ways are truth.
152 Ab antico io so circa le tue massime, che in eterno le hai stabilite. Res.	152 I have known from the beginning about your testimonies. For you founded them in eternity.
153 Guarda la mia afflizione e liberami, perchè la tua legge non ho dimenticato.	153 RES. See my humiliation and rescue me, for I have not forgotten your law.
154 Giudica la mia causa e riscattami, a motivo del tuo detto rimettimi in vita.	154 Judge my judgment and redeem me. Revive me because of your eloquence.
155 Lungi da' malvagi è la salvezza, perchè i tuoi statuti non curano.	155 Salvation is far from sinners, because they have not inquired about your justifications.
156 Le tue misericordie son molte, o Signore: secondo il tuo giudizio rimettimi in vita.	156 Many are your mercies, O Lord. Enliven me according to your judgment.
157 Molti son quei che mi perseguitano e m'affliggono, [ma] dalle tue massime non devio.	157 Many are those who persecute me and who trouble me. I have not turned away from your testimonies.
158 Vedo i prevaricatori e mi consumo, perchè i tuoi detti non osservano.	158 I saw the prevaricators, and I pine away. For they have not kept your word.
159 Vedi che i tuoi comandamenti io amo!o Signore, nella tua bontà rimettimi in vita.	159 O Lord, see how I have loved your commandments. Revive me in your mercy.
160 Principio [e somma] di tue parole è la verità: in eterno sono i giudizi tutti della tua giustizia. Sin.	160 The beginning of your words is truth. All the judgments of your justice are for eternity.
161 I principi mi perseguitano senza ragione, ma [solo] delle tue parole teme il mio cuore.	161 SIN. The leaders have persecuted me without cause. And my heart has been awed by your words.
162 Gioisco a motivo de' tuoi detti, come chi abbia trovato una gran preda.	162 I will rejoice over your eloquence, like one who has found many spoils.
163 L'iniquità ho in odio e aborro, ma la tua legge ho cara.	163 I have held hatred for iniquity, and I have abhorred it. Yet I have loved your law.
164 Sette volte al giorno io ti dò lodeper i giudizi della tua giustizia.	164 Seven times a day, I uttered praise to you about the judgments of your justice.
165 Molta pace per quelli che aman la tua legge e non v'è inciampo per essi.	165 Those who love your law have great peace, and there is no scandal for them.
166 Io spero nella tua salvezza, o Signore, e i tuoi precetti amo [e adempio].	166 I have waited for your salvation, O Lord. And I have loved your commandments.
167 L'anima mia osserva le tue massime e le ama ardentemente.	167 My soul has kept to your testimonies and has loved them exceedingly.
168 Io osservo i tuoi comandamenti e le tue massime, perchè tutte le mie vie son davanti a te. Tau.	168 I have served your commandments and your testimonies. For all my ways are before your sight.
169 S'avvicini la mia preghiera al tuo cospetto, o Signore: secondo la tua parola dammi intelletto.	169 TAU. O Lord, let my supplication draw near in your sight. Grant understanding to me according to your eloquence.
170 Penetri la mia supplica al tuo cospetto: secondo il tuo detto liberami.	170 Let my petition enter before you. Rescue me according to your word.
171 Proromperanno le mie labbra in un inno [di lode], perchè tu m'insegni i tuoi statuti.	171 A hymn will burst forth from my lips, when you will teach me your justifications.
172 Celebrerà la mia lingua il tuo detto, perchè tutti i tuoi precetti son gustizia.	172 My tongue will pronounce your eloquence. For all your commandments are fairness.
173 Si accinga la mano tua a salvarmi, perchè i tuoi comandamenti io ho eletto.	173 Let it be your hand that saves me. For I have chosen your commandments.
174 Io bramo la salvezza da te, o Signore, e la tua legge è la mia meditazione [e la mia delizia].	174 O Lord, I have longed for your salvation, and your law is my meditation.
175 Viva l'anima mia e ti lodi, e i tuoi giudizi mi soccorrano.	175 My soul will live and will praise you, and your judgments will assist me.
176 Io vo errando come pecorella smarrita: ricerca tu il tuo servo, perchè i tuoi precetti non ho dimenticato!	176 I have gone astray like a sheep that is lost. Seek out your servant, for I have not forgotten your commandments.
