1 - Salmo di David. Ha detto il Signore al mio Signore: «Siedi alla mia destra, finchè faccia de' tuoi nemicilo sgabello de' tuoi piedi!».	1 A Psalm of David. The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.”
2 Lo scettro della tua potenza stenderà il Signore da Sion. Domina in mezzo ai tuoi nemici,	2 The Lord will send forth the scepter of your virtue from Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies.
3 teco è il principato! «Nel dì della tua potenza; tra gli splendori della santità, dal mio seno, prima della stella del mattino, t'ho generato».	3 It is with you from the beginning, in the day of your virtue, in the splendor of the saints. From conception, before the light-bearer, I begot you.
4 Ha giurato il Signore e non si pentirà: «Tu sei sacerdote in eterno alla guisa di Melchisedec».	4 The Lord has sworn, and he will not repent: “You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.”
5 Il Signore è alla sua destra: egli stritola nel dì dell'ira sua i re!	5 The Lord is at your right hand. He has broken kings in the day of his wrath.
6 Giudicherà le nazioni, ammucchierà rovine, fracasserà cervici su vasta regione.	6 He will judge between the nations; he will fill up ruination. He will shatter heads in the land of the many.
7 Dal torrente, per via, egli beve: perciò leverà alto il capo!	7 He will drink from the torrent on the way. Because of this, he will exalt the head.
