| 1 Bezaleel, Oholiab e tutti gli uomini di ingegno, nei quali Jahve aveva infuso saggezza e abilità affinchè sapessero eseguire ogni lavoro per il culto del santuario, fecero tutto secondo ciò che Jahve aveva ordinato. | 1 Therefore, Bezalel, and Oholiab, and every wise man, to whom the Lord gave wisdom and intelligence, so as to know how to work skillfully, made that which was necessary for the uses of the Sanctuary and which the Lord had instructed. |
| 2 Mosè chiamò Bezaleel, Oholiab e tutti gli uomini di ingegno, nel cuore dei quali Jahve aveva infuso saggezza, tutti coloro che si sentivano inclinati a darsi al lavoro per eseguirlo. | 2 And when Moses had called them and every man of learning, to whom the Lord had given wisdom, and who, of their own accord, had offered themselves in order to accomplish this work, |
| 3 Costoro tolsero dinanzi a Mosè ogni contributo che i figli di Israele avevano portato per poter così eseguire il lavoro del culto del santuario. Ma i figli di Israele, ogni mattina, continuavano a portare a Mosè offerte Spontanee: | 3 he handed over to them all the donations of the sons of Israel. And while they were pursuing this work, the people offered what they had vowed each day, in the morning. |
| 4 vennero allora tutti gli artefici che eseguivano i lavori per il santuario, lasciando ognuno il lavoro che stava facendo, | 4 The artisans were compelled by this to go |
| 5 e dissero a Mosè: «Il popolo porta più di quanto è necessario per il compimento dei avori ordinati da Jahve ». | 5 to Moses and to say, “The people offer more than is needed.” |
| 6 Mosè quindi ordinò di spargere nell’accamampamento la voce: « Nè uomo nè donna faccia più alcun lavoro come contributo per il santuario ». Così al popolo fu proibito di portare altre offerte | 6 Therefore, Moses ordered this to be recited, with a voice of proclamation: “Let neither man nor woman offer anything further for the work of the Sanctuary.” And so they ceased from offering gifts, |
| 7 poichè quanto il popolo aveva fatto era sufficiente, anzi ne avanzava, per l’esecuzione di tutti i lavori. | 7 because what was offered was sufficient and was more than an abundance. |
| 8 Gli uomini di maggior ingegno tra coloro che eseguivano i lavori fecero la Dimora con dieci teli di bisso ritorto, porpora viola e rossa e scarlatto, con Cherubini, lavoro da ricamatore. | 8 And all those who were wise of heart, in order to accomplish the work of the tabernacle, made ten curtains of fine twisted linen, and hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, with diverse workmanship by the art of embroidery. |
| 9 Ogni telo era di ventotto cubiti di lunghezza, quattro cubiti di larghezza: un’unica misura per tutti i teli. | 9 Each of these was twenty-eight cubits in length, and in width, four. All the curtains were of one measure. |
| 10 Unì cinque teli l’uno all’altro e così anche gli altri cinque. | 10 And he joined five curtains to one another, and the other five he coupled to one another. |
| 11 Fece lacci di porpora viola sull’orlo del telo all’estremità della prima sutura e sull’orlo del telo che terminava la seconda sutura. | 11 He also made loops of hyacinth along the edge of one curtain on both sides, and similarly along the edge of the other curtain, |
| 12 Fece cinquanta lacci nel Primo telo e cinquanta lacci all’estremità del telo che è nella seconda sutura: i lacci erano uno di fronte all’altro. | 12 so that the loops might meet against one another and might be joined together. |
| 13 Fece cinquanta uncini d’oro; unì, con gli uncini, un telo all’altro: e la Dimora fu così un tutt’uno. | 13 For these, he also cast fifty gold rings, which would retain the loops of the curtains and so make the tabernacle one. |

| 17 Fece cinquanta lacci sull’orlo del telo all’estremità della prima sutura e cinquanta lacci sull’orlo del telo della seconda sutura. | 17 And he made fifty loops along the edge of one canopy, and fifty along the edge of the other canopy, so that they might be joined to one another, |
| 18 Fece cinquanta uncini di bronzo per unire la Tenda in modo che fosse un tutt’uno. | 18 and fifty buckles of brass, with which the roof might be woven together, so that from all the canopies there would be made one covering. |
| 19 Per la Tenda fece una copertura di pelli di montone tinte in rosso e un’altra copertura di pelli di takhash al disopra. | 19 He also made a covering for the tabernacle from the skins of rams, dyed-red; and another cover above it, from violet skins. |

| 21 Fece ogni asse di dieci cubiti di lunghezza e un cubito e mezzo di larghezza. | 21 Ten cubits was the length of one panel, and one and one half cubits comprised the width. |
| 22 Ogni asse aveva due sostegni congiunti l’un l’altro: così fece per tutte le assi della Dimora. | 22 There were two dovetails along every panel, so that one might be joined to the other. Thus did he make all the panels of the tabernacle. |

Two bases were set under one panel at each of two sides at the corners, where the joints of the sides terminate in corners. |

| 26 con quaranta basi d’argento: due basi sotto la prima asse, due basi sotto la seconda asse e così via. | 26 with forty bases of silver, two bases for each board. |
| 27 Fece sei assi per la parte posteriore della Dimora, cioè verso ovest, | 27 Yet truly, opposite the west, that is, toward that part of the tabernacle which looks out toward the sea, he made six panels, |
| 28 e due assi per gli angoli nella parte posteriore della Dimora, | 28 and two others at each corner of the tabernacle at the back, |
| 29 che risultarono abbinate alla parte inferiore e ugualmente abbinate alla parte superiore, al primo anello: così fece per le due assi dei due angoli; | 29 which were joined from bottom to top and held together by one joint. So did he make both corners on that side. |
| 30 si ebbero così otto tavole con le loro basi d’argento: sedici basi, due basi sotto ogni asse. | 30 So then, there were altogether eight panels, and they had sixteen bases of silver, with, of course, two bases under each panel. |
| 31 Fece traverse di legno d’acacia: cinque traverse per le assi di un lato della Dimora, | 31 He also made bars from setim wood: five to hold together the panels at one side of the tabernacle, |

| 37 Fece per l’ingresso della Tenda un tendone di porpora viola e rossa, di scarlatto e di bisso ritorto: lavoro di ricamo variopinto. | 37 He also made a tent at the entrance of the tabernacle from hyacinth, purple, vermillion, and fine twisted linen, wrought with embroidery, |
| 38 Fece, per esso, cinque pali con i relativi ganci, rivestiti d’oro, i capitelli e le bacchette e fece per i pali cinque basi di bronzo. | 38 and five columns with their heads, which he covered with gold, and he cast their bases from brass. |
