Ijob 34

EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Dann ergriff Elihu das Wort und sprach:	1 Furthermore Elihu answered and said,
2 Ihr Weisen, hört meine Worte, ihr Kundigen, leiht mir Gehör!	2 Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.
3 Denn das Ohr prüft die Worte und der Gaumen schmeckt die Speise.	3 For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.
4 Lasst das Recht uns untersuchen, erkennen unter uns, was gut ist.	4 Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.
5 Denn Ijob sagt: Ich bin im Recht, doch Gott hat mir mein Recht entzogen.	5 For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.
6 Meinem Recht zuwider soll ich lügen? Unheilbar traf mich ohne Schuld der Pfeil.	6 Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.
7 Wo ist ein Mann wie Ijob, der Lästerung wie Wasser trinkt,	7 What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?
8 der hingeht, um sich den Übeltätern zuzugesellen, und mit den Frevlern Umgang pflegt?	8 Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.
9 Er sagte ja: Es nützt dem Menschen nichts, dass er in Freundschaft lebt mit Gott.	9 For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.
10 Darum hört mir zu, ihr Männer mit Verstand! Fern ist es Gott, Unrecht zu tun, und dem Allmächtigen, Frevel zu üben.	10 Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.
11 Nein, was der Mensch tut, das vergilt er ihm, nach eines jeden Verhalten lässt er es ihn treffen.	11 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.
12 Nein, wahrhaftig, nie tut Gott unrecht und der Allmächtige beugt nicht das Recht.	12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.
13 Wer hat ihm seine Erde anvertraut und wer den ganzen Erdkreis hingestellt?	13 Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?
14 Wenn er auf ihn den Sinn nur richtet, seinen Geist und Atem zu sich holt,	14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;
15 muss alles Fleisch zusammen sterben, der Mensch zum Staube wiederkehren.	15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.
16 Hast du Verstand, so höre dies, lausche dem Laut meiner Worte!	16 If now thou hast understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.
17 Kann, wer das Recht hasst, Herrschaft führen? Und willst du den Gerechten, den Erhabenen verklagen,	17 Shall even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou condemn him that is most just?
18 ihn, der zum König sagt: Du Nichtsnutz!, zu Edelmännern: Bösewicht!,	18 Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?
19 der nicht auf Fürsten Rücksicht nimmt, vornehm nicht vor arm begünstigt; denn alle sind sie seiner Hände Werk.	19 How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.
20 Sie sterben plötzlich, mitten in der Nacht; das Volk gerät in Aufruhr und sie müssen fort. Starke müssen weichen, ohne dass eine Hand sich rührt.	20 In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.
21 Denn seine Augen schauen auf des Menschen Wege, alle seine Schritte sieht er wohl.	21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
22 Kein Dunkel gibt es, keine Finsternis, wo sich die Übeltäter bergen könnten.	22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
23 Denn dem Menschen setzt er keine Frist, zu Gott ins Gericht zu gehen.	23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.
24 Gewaltige knickt er ohne Verhör und stellt andere an ihren Platz.	24 He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.
25 Wahrhaftig, Gott kennt ja ihre Taten, er stürzt sie bei Nacht und sie sind zermalmt.	25 Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.
26 Wie Frevler schlägt er sie an einem Ort, wo man es sieht,	26 He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;
27 deshalb, weil sie von ihm wichen, nicht achteten auf alle seine Wege.	27 Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:
28 So lässt er der Armen Geschrei zu sich kommen, er hört das Geschrei der Gebeugten.	28 So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.
29 Hält er sich still, wer spricht ihn schuldig? Verbirgt er sein Gesicht, wer nimmt ihn wahr? Über Volk und Menschen aber wacht er,	29 When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:
30 damit nicht ruchlose Menschen herrschen, die dem Volk zum Fallstrick werden.	30 That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.
31 Denn nicht ist's an Gott, zu sagen: Geirrt habe ich, ich mach's nicht wieder falsch.	31 Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:
32 Was ich nicht sehe, lehre du mich! Tat ich Unrecht, ich will es nicht mehr tun.	32 That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.
33 Soll er nach deinem Sinn vergelten, weil du verwirfst? So musst ja du entscheiden, nicht ich, und was du weißt, das sage an!	33 Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.
34 Verständige Männer werden zu mir sagen, ein jeder Weise, der mich hört:	34 Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.
35 Bar des Wissens redet Ijob und unbedacht sind seine Worte.	35 Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.
36 Wohlan, weiter werde Ijob geprüft, weil er nach der Frevler Art erwidert.	36 My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.
37 Denn Frevel fügt er noch zu seiner Sünde, in unserer Mitte höhnt er laut, mehrt seine Worte gegen Gott.	37 For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.
