1 I figliuoli d'Aaronne furon divisi in queste classi: Figliuoli d'Aaronne: Nadab, e Abiu, ed Eleazar, e Ithamar.	1 Orders of the sons of Aaron: Sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, Ithamar.
2 E morirono Nadab, e Abiu prima del padre loro senza figliuoli: e fecero le funzioni del sacerdozio Eleazar, e Ithamar.	2 Nadab and Abihu died in their father's lifetime leaving no children, so Eleazar and Ithamar fil ed theoffice of priest.
3 E Davidde li divise, viene a dire, la famiglia di Sadoc figliuolo di Eleazaro, e quella di Ahimelech della casa d'Ithamar, fissando i turni del loro ministero.	3 With Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, David allocated themaccording to the classification of their duties.
4 E si trovarono in molto maggior numero i capi di famiglie discendenti da Eleazaro, che quelli d'Ithamar. Ed egli distribuì i discendenti di Eleazaro in sedici famiglie con un capo per ogni famiglia: e quelli di Ithamar in otto famiglie;	4 Since the sons of Eleazar were found to have more headmen than the sons of Ithamar, they allocatedsixteen heads of families to the sons of Eleazar and eight heads of families to the sons of Ithamar.
5 E le funzioni dell'una, e dell'altra famiglia le tirò a sorte: perchè tanto i discendenti di Eleazaro, come quelli di Ithamar erano principi del Santuario, e principi di Dio.	5 They al ocated them by lot, both alike, there being religious officials and officials of God among thesons of Eleazar, as among the sons of Ithamar.

18 Il ventesimo terzo a Dalaiau, il ventesimo quarto a Maaziau.	18 the twenty- third to Delaiah and the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.

22 Salemoth figliuolo d'Isaari, e Jahath figliuolo di Salemoth.	22 Of the sons of Izhar: Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth: Jahath.
23 E il figliuolo primogenito di Jahath Jeriau, il secondo Amaria, il terzo Jahaziel, il quarto Jecmaan.	23 Of the sons of Hebron: Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.

31 Ed eglino pure tirarono a sorte a imitazione de' loro fratelli figliuoli d'Aaronne dinanzi al re David, e a Sadoc e ad Ahimelech, e dinanzi ai capi delle famiglie sacerdotali, e Levitiche: i maggiori, e i minori, tutti egualmente tiravano a sorte.	31 Like their kinsmen, the sons of Aaron, these heads of families, senior and junior alike, also drew lotsin the presence of King David, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the priestly and levitical families.
