Apocalisse 22

BIBBIA TINTORI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 E (l'Angelo) mi mostrò un fiume d'acqua viva, limpida come cristallo, che scaturiva dal trono di Dio e dell'Agnello.	1 Then the angel showed me the river of life, rising from the throne of God and of the Lamb and flowingcrystal-clear.
2 In mezzo alla piazza della città e d'ambo i lati del fiume v'era l'albero della vita, che porta dodici frutti e dà, mese per mese, il suo frutto, e le sue foglie sono medicina delle nazioni.	2 Down the middle of the city street, on either bank of the river were the trees of life, which bear twelvecrops of fruit in a year, one in each month, and the leaves of which are the cure for the nations.
3 Non ci sarà più nulla di maledetto; ma vi sarà il trono di Dio e dell'Agnello, e i suoi servi lo serviranno,	3 The curse of destruction will be abolished. The throne of God and of the Lamb wil be in the city; hisservants will worship him,
4 e ne vedranno la faccia, e porteranno in fronte il nome di lui.	4 they wil see him face to face, and his name wil be written on their foreheads.
5 Non vi sarà più notte; non avran più bisogno nè di lume, nè di sole, perchè il Signore Dio l'illuminerà, ed essi regneranno pei secoli dei secoli.	5 And night will be abolished; they will not need lamplight or sunlight, because the Lord God will beshining on them. They wil reign for ever and ever.
6 E (l'Angelo) mi disse: Queste parole sono fedelissime e vere: e il Signore Dio degli spiriti dei profeti ha mandato il suo Angelo per mostrare ai suoi servi le cose che devono succedere ben presto.	6 The angel said to me, 'Al that you have written is sure and wil come true: the Lord God who inspiresthe prophets has sent his angel to reveal to his servants what is soon to take place.
7 Ed ecco: presto vengo. Beato chi osserva le parole di profezia di questo libro.	7 I am coming soon!' Blessed are those who keep the prophetic message of this book.
8 Io, Giovanni, son colui che vidi e sentii queste coso. Or quando le ebbi vedute ed udite, mi prostrai ai piedi dell'Angelo che me le mostrava per adorarlo.	8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I had heard and seen them all, I knelt atthe feet of the angel who had shown them to me, to worship him;
9 Ma dissemi: guardati dal farlo; perchè io sono servo come te e come i tuoi fratelli, i profeti e quelli che osservano le parole di profezia di questo libro: adora Dio.	9 but he said, 'Do no such thing: I am your fel ow-servant and the fel ow-servant of your brothers theprophets and those who keep the message of this book. God alone you must worship.'
10 Poi mi disse: Non sigillare le parole di profezia di questo libro, perchè il tempo è vicino.	10 This, too, he said to me, 'Do not keep the prophecies in this book a secret, because the Time isclose.
11 L'iniquo seguiti a fare il male; l'impuro seguiti nell'immondezza, e chi è giusto diventi ancor più giusto, e chi è santo si faccia ancor più santo.	11 Meanwhile let the sinner continue sinning, and the unclean continue to be unclean; let the uprightcontinue in his uprightness, and those who are holy continue to be holy.
12 Ecco, io vengo presto e porto meco la ricompensa per darla a ciascuno secondo le sue opere.	12 Look, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to repay everyone as their deeds deserve.
13 Io sono alfa e omega, primo e ultimo, principio e fine.	13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14 Beati coloro che lavano le loro vesti nel sangue dell'Agnello, per aver diritto all'albero della vita e per entrare per le porte della città.	14 Blessed are those who wil have washed their robes clean, so that they wil have the right to feed onthe tree of life and can come through the gates into the city.
15 Fuori i cani, i venefìci, gl'impudichi, gli omicidi, gli idolatri e, chiunque ama e pratica la menzogna.	15 Others must stay outside: dogs, fortune-tel ers, and the sexually immoral, murderers, idolaters, andeveryone of false speech and false life.'
16 Io, Gesù, ho mandato il mio Angelo a notificarvi queste cose riguardo alle Chiese. Io sono la radice, la progenie di David, la fulgida stella del mattino.	16 I, Jesus, have sent my angel to attest these things to you for the sake of the churches. I am the sprigfrom the root of David and the bright star of the morning.
17 E lo Spirito e la Sposa dicono: « Vieni », e chi ascolta dica: « Vieni ». E chi ha sete venga, e chi ne vuole prenda gratuitamente l'acqua della vita.	17 The Spirit and the Bride say, 'Come!' Let everyone who listens answer, 'Come!' Then let al who arethirsty come: all who want it may have the water of life, and have it free.
18 Or dichiaro a chiunque ascolta le parole di profezia di questo libro, che se uno vi aggiungerà qualche cosa, Dio porrà sopra di lui le piaghe scritte in questo ibro,	18 This is my solemn attestation to al who hear the prophecies in this book: if anyone adds anything tothem, God wil add to him every plague mentioned in the book;
19 e se alcuno torrà qualche cosa dalle parole di profezia di questo libro, Dio gli toglierà la sua parte dal libro della vita e dalla città santa e dalle cose che sono scritte in questo libro.	19 if anyone cuts anything out of the prophecies in this book, God wil cut off his share of the tree of life and of the holy city, which are described in the book.
20 Colui che attesta queste cose dice: Sì, vengo presto. Preghiera e benedizione Così sia! Vieni, Signore Gesù!	20 The one who attests these things says: I am indeed coming soon. Amen; come, Lord Jesus.
21 La grazia del Signore nostro Gesù Cristo sia con tutti voi. Così sia.	21 May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with you al . Amen.
