1 Cosi parla il Signore Dio: « La porta dell'atrio interiore, che guarda ad oriente, sarà chiusa nei sei giorni in cui si lavora: ma il sabato sarà aperta, e sarà pure aperta ogni primo del mese.	1 ' "The Lord Yahweh says this: The east gate of the inner court must be kept shut for the six workingdays. On the Sabbath day, however, it must be opened, as also on the day of the New Moon;
2 E il principe entrerà pel vestibolo della porta di fuori, e si fermerà sulle soglie della porta, e i sacerdoti offriranno il suo olocausto e i suoi sacrifizi pacifici. Egli farà adorazione sulla soglia della porta e se ne andrà; ma la porta non sarà chiusa fino alla sera.	2 and the prince must go in through the porch of the outer gate and take his position by the doorposts ofthe gate. The priests must then offer his burnt offerings and his communion sacrifice. He must prostrate himselfon the threshold of the gate and go out, and the gate must not be shut again until the evening.
3 E il popolo della terra nei sabati ed ogni primo del mese farà adorazione davanti al Signore, all'entrata di quella porta.	3 The people of the country must prostrate themselves in the presence of Yahweh at the entrance to thegate on Sabbaths and days of the New Moon.
4 Or questo è l'olocausto che il principe offrirà al Signore: nel giorno di sabato sei agnelli senza macchia, e un ariete senza difetti.	4 The burnt offering offered to Yahweh by the prince on the Sabbath day must consist of sixunblemished lambs and one unblemished ram,
5 E l'offerta di un efi (di farina) per ariete, per gli agnelli poi ciò che vorrà dare, e un hin di olio per ogni efì.	5 with an oblation of one ephah for the ram, and such oblation as he pleases for the lambs, and a hin ofoil for every ephah.
6 Nel primo giorno del mese: un vitello d'armento, senza macchia, e sei agnelli, e arieti senza macchia.	6 On the day of the New Moon it must consist of an unblemished young bull, six unblemished lambs andone unblemished ram,
7 E offrirà un efi (di farina) per vitello, un efi pure per ariete, per gli agnelli quel che egli potrà dare, e un hin di olio per ogni efi.	7 when he must make an oblation of one ephah for the bul and one ephah for the ram, and what hepleases for the lambs, and a hin of oil for every ephah.
8 Ogni volta che il principe deve entrare, entri per il vestibolo della porta, ed esca per la medesima via.	8 "When the prince goes in, he must enter by the porch of the gate, and he must leave by the same way.
9 nelle solennità, quando il popolo della terra entrerà davanti al Signore, chi entrerà ad adorare per la porta settentrionale, esca per la porta meridionale, e chi entrerà per la porta meridionale esca per la porta settentrionale: nessuno esca per la porta per cui è entrato, ma esca per quella di faccia.	9 When the people of the country come into the presence of Yahweh at the solemn festivals, those whohave come in by the north gate to prostrate themselves must go out by the south gate, and those who havecome in by the south gate must go out by the north gate; no one must turn back to leave through the gate bywhich he entered but must go out on the opposite side.
10 E il principe, in mezzo ad essi, entrerà con quelli che entrano, e uscirà con quelli che escono.	10 The prince will be with them, coming in like them and going out like them.
11 E nelle fiere e nelle solennità, sarà offerto un efì di farina per vitello, un efì per ariete, per gli agnelli quel che potrà dare, e un hin di olio per ogni efì.	11 "On feast days and solemn festivals the oblation must be one ephah for every bul , one ephah forevery ram, what he pleases for the lambs, and a hin of oil for every ephah.
12 Quando poi il principe offrirà olocausto volontario, o volontario sacrifizio pacifico al Signore, gli sarà aperta la porta che guarda a oriente, e farà offrire il suo olocausto e il suo sacrifizio pacifico, come suol farsi nel giorno di sabato; e se ne andrà, e, uscito lui, sarà chiusa la porta.	12 When the prince offers Yahweh voluntary burnt offerings or a voluntary communion sacrifice, the eastgate must be opened for him, and he must offer his burnt offerings and his communion sacrifice as he does onthe Sabbath day; when he has gone out, the gate must be shut after him.
13 E farà offrire ogni giorno al Signore un agnello del medesimo anno, senza macchia, e lo farà offrire sempre la mattina.	13 Every day he must offer an unblemished lamb one year old as a burnt offering to Yahweh; he mustoffer this every morning.
14 E con questo ogni mattina farà l'offerta della sesta parte d'un efi (di farina), e di olio la terza parte d'un hin, per essere mescolato alla farina: è il sacrifizio al Signore, legittimo, permanente, perpetuo.	14 Every morning in addition he must offer an oblation of one-sixth of an ephah and one-third of a hin ofoil, for mixing with the flour. This is the oblation to Yahweh, a perpetual decree, fixed for ever.
15 Farà offrire l'agnello, il sacrifizio e l'olio ogni mattina: olocausto sempiterno ».	15 The lamb, the oblation and the oil must be offered morning after morning for ever.
16 Così parla il Signore Dio: « Se il principe darà qualche cosa in dono ad uno dei suoi figli, questa passerà in eredità di lui e dei suoi figli, e la possederanno per diritto ereditario. i	16 "Lord Yahweh says this: If the prince presents part of his hereditary portion to one of his sons, the giftmust pass into the ownership of his sons and become their hereditary property.
17 Se però egli fa un legato ad uno dei suoi servi, questi ne sarà padrone fino all'anno della remissione, e allora tornerà al principe; ma il dominio dei suoi beni sarà dei suoi figli.	17 If, however, he presents part of his hereditary portion to one of his slaves, it wil belong to the manonly until the year of liberation and then must revert to the prince. Only his sons may retain his hereditaryportion.
18 Niente il principe prenderà colla violenza dall'eredità del popolo e dai possessi di lui, ma dei propri possessi darà l'eredità ai propri figli, affinchè nessuno del mio popolo sia scacciato dai suoi possessi ».	18 The prince may not take any part of the people's hereditary portion, thus robbing them of what istheirs; he must provide the patrimony of his sons out of his own property, so that no member of my people isrobbed of what is his!" '
19 E per l'entrata che era a lato della porta mi condusse nelle camere del santuario destinate ai sacerdoti: esse guardavano a settentrione, e v'era un luogo volto a occidente.	19 He took me through the entrance at the side of the north gate that leads to the rooms of the HolyPlace set apart for the priests. And there before us, to the west, was a space at the end.
20 E mi disse: « Questo è il luogo ove i sacerdoti coleranno (le carni delle vittime offerte) per il peccato e pel delitto, ivi coceranno quello che si sacrifica, e facciano in modo di non portarlo nell'atrio esteriore, imperciocché non resti santificato il popolo ».	20 He said to me, 'This is where the priests must boil the slaughtered animals for the sacrifice for sinand the sacrifice of reparation, and where they must bake the oblation, without having to carry them into theouter court and so run the risk of hal owing the people.'
21 Poi mi fece uscire nell'atrio esteriore e mi fece girare per i quattro angoli dell'atrio, e vidi che in ogni angolo dell'atrio v'era un piccolo cortile: c'era un piccolo cortile in ogni angolo dell'atrio.	21 He then took me into the outer court and led me to each of its four corners; in each corner of theouter court was a compound;
22 Questi piccoli cortili eran cosi disponi i nei quattro angoli dell'atrio: avevan quaranta cubiti di lunghezza e trenta di larghezza. Tutti e quattro avevan le medesime misure.	22 in other words, the four corners of the court contained four smal compounds, forty cubits by thirty, alfour being the same size.
23 E v'era un muro che cingeva intorno i quattro piccoli cortili, e delle cucine eran costruite sotto i portici all'intorno.	23 Al four were enclosed by a wal , with hearths al round the bottom of the wall.
24 E mi disse: « Questo è il fabbricato delle cucile, dove i ministri della casa del Signore coceranno le vittime del popolo ».	24 He said, 'These are the kitchens where the Temple servants must boil the sacrifices offered by thepeople.'
