Apocalisse 5

BIBBIA CEI 2008	NEW JERUSALEM
1 E vidi, nella mano destra di Colui che sedeva sul trono, un libro scritto sul lato interno e su quello esterno, sigillato con sette sigilli.	1 I saw that in the right hand of the One sitting on the throne there was a scrol that was written on backand front and was sealed with seven seals.
2 Vidi un angelo forte che proclamava a gran voce: «Chi è degno di aprire il libro e scioglierne i sigilli?».	2 Then I saw a powerful angel who cal ed with a loud voice, 'Who is worthy to open the scroll and breakits seals?'
3 Ma nessuno né in cielo, né in terra, né sotto terra, era in grado di aprire il libro e di guardarlo.	3 But there was no one, in heaven or on the earth or under the earth, who was able to open the scrol andread it.
4 Io piangevo molto, perché non fu trovato nessuno degno di aprire il libro e di guardarlo.	4 I wept bitterly because nobody could be found to open the scrol and read it,
5 Uno degli anziani mi disse: «Non piangere; ha vinto il leone della tribù di Giuda, il Germoglio di Davide, e aprirà il libro e i suoi sette sigilli».	5 but one of the elders said to me, 'Do not weep. Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David,has triumphed, and so he wil open the scroll and its seven seals.'
6 Poi vidi, in mezzo al trono, circondato dai quattro esseri viventi e dagli anziani, un Agnello, in piedi, come immolato; aveva sette corna e sette occhi, i quali sono i sette spiriti di Dio mandati su tutta la terra.	6 Then I saw, in the middle of the throne with its four living creatures and the circle of the elders, a Lambstanding that seemed to have been sacrificed; it had seven horns, and it had seven eyes, which are the sevenSpirits that God has sent out over the whole world.
7 Giunse e prese il libro dalla destra di Colui che sedeva sul trono.	7 The Lamb came forward to take the scrol from the right hand of the One sitting on the throne,
8 E quando l’ebbe preso, i quattro esseri viventi e i ventiquattro anziani si prostrarono davanti all’Agnello, avendo ciascuno una cetra e coppe d’oro colme di profumi, che sono le preghiere dei santi,	8 and when he took it, the four living creatures prostrated themselves before him and with them thetwenty-four elders; each one of them was holding a harp and had a golden bowl full of incense which are theprayers of the saints.
9 e cantavano un canto nuovo: «Tu sei degno di prendere il libro e di aprirne i sigilli, perché sei stato immolato e hai riscattato per Dio, con il tuo sangue, uomini di ogni tribù, lingua, popolo e nazione,	9 They sang a new hymn: You are worthy to take the scrol and to break its seals, because you weresacrificed, and with your blood you bought people for God of every race, language, people and nation
10 e hai fatto di loro, per il nostro Dio, un regno e sacerdoti, e regneranno sopra la terra».	10 and made them a line of kings and priests for God, to rule the world.
11 E vidi, e udii voci di molti angeli attorno al trono e agli esseri viventi e agli anziani. Il loro numero era miriadi di miriadi e migliaia di migliaia	11 In my vision, I heard the sound of an immense number of angels gathered round the throne and theliving creatures and the elders; there were ten thousand times ten thousand of them and thousands uponthousands,
12 e dicevano a gran voce: «L’Agnello, che è stato immolato, è degno di ricevere potenza e ricchezza, sapienza e forza, onore, gloria e benedizione».	12 loudly chanting: Worthy is the Lamb that was sacrificed to receive power, riches, wisdom, strength,honour, glory and blessing.
13 Tutte le creature nel cielo e sulla terra, sotto terra e nel mare, e tutti gli esseri che vi si trovavano, udii che dicevano: «A Colui che siede sul trono e all’Agnello lode, onore, gloria e potenza, nei secoli dei secoli».	13 Then I heard al the living things in creation -- everything that lives in heaven, and on earth, and underthe earth, and in the sea, crying: To the One seated on the throne and to the Lamb, be al praise, honour, gloryand power, for ever and ever.
14 E i quattro esseri viventi dicevano: «Amen». E gli anziani si prostrarono in adorazione.	14 And the four living creatures said, 'Amen'; and the elders prostrated themselves to worship.
