1 Mosè radunò tutta la comunità degli Israeliti e disse loro: «Queste sono le cose che il Signore ha comandato di fare:	1 Therefore, when all the multitude of the sons of Israel had gathered together, he said to them: “These are the things that the Lord has ordered to be done:
2 Per sei giorni si lavorerà, ma il settimo sarà per voi un giorno santo, un giorno di riposo assoluto, sacro al Signore. Chiunque in quel giorno farà qualche lavoro sarà messo a morte.	2 For six days you shall do work; the seventh day, the Sabbath and the rest of the Lord, will be holy to you; whoever will have done any work in it shall be killed.
3 In giorno di sabato non accenderete il fuoco, in nessuna delle vostre dimore».	3 You shall not kindle a fire in any of your dwelling places throughout the day of the Sabbath.”
4 Mosè disse a tutta la comunità degli Israeliti: «Il Signore ha comandato:	4 And Moses said to the entire crowd of the sons of Israel: “This is the word which the Lord has instructed, saying:
5 “Prelevate su quanto possedete un contributo per il Signore”. Quanti hanno cuore generoso, portino questo contributo per il Signore: oro, argento e bronzo,	5 Separate from among you the first-fruits to the Lord. Let all who are willing and have a ready soul offer these to the Lord: gold, and silver, and brass,
6 tessuti di porpora viola e rossa, di scarlatto, di bisso e di pelo di capra,	6 hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, and fine linen, the hair of goats,
7 pelli di montone tinte di rosso, pelli di tasso e legno di acacia,	7 and the skins of rams, dyed red, and violet skins, setim wood,
8 olio per l’illuminazione, balsami per l’olio dell’unzione e per l’incenso aromatico,	8 and oil to prepare lights and to produce ointment, and most sweet incense,
9 pietre di ònice e pietre da incastonare nell’efod e nel pettorale.	9 onyx stones and gems, to adorn the ephod and the breastplate.
10 Tutti gli artisti che sono tra voi vengano ed eseguano quanto il Signore ha comandato:	10 And whoever among you is wise, let him come and make what the Lord has commanded:
11 la Dimora, la sua tenda, la sua copertura, le sue fibbie, le sue assi, le sue traverse, le sue colonne e le sue basi,	11 the tabernacle, certainly, and its roof, and also the covering, the rings, and the panels with the bars, the tent pegs and the bases,
12 l’arca e le sue stanghe, il propiziatorio e il velo che lo nasconde,	12 the ark and its bars, the propitiatory, and the veil that is drawn before it,
13 la tavola con le sue stanghe e tutti i suoi accessori e i pani dell’offerta,	13 the table with its bars and vessels, and the bread of the presence,
14 il candelabro per illuminare con i suoi accessori, le sue lampade e l’olio per l’illuminazione,	14 the lampstand to hold up the lights, its vessels and lamps, and the oil to the nourish the fire,
15 l’altare dell’incenso con le sue stanghe, l’olio dell’unzione e l’incenso aromatico, la cortina d’ingresso alla porta della Dimora,	15 the altar of incense and its bars, and the oil of unction, and the incense of aromatics, the tent at the door of the tabernacle,
16 l’altare degli olocausti con la sua graticola di bronzo, le sue sbarre e tutti i suoi accessori, il bacino con il suo piedistallo,	16 the altar of holocaust and its grate of brass, with the bars and vessels, the washtub and its base,
17 i tendaggi del recinto, le sue colonne e le sue basi e la cortina alla porta del recinto,	17 the curtains of the atrium, with the columns and the bases, the hanging at the doors of the vestibule,
18 i picchetti della Dimora, i picchetti del recinto e le loro corde,	18 the tent pegs of the tabernacle and the atrium, with their little cords,

20 Allora tutta la comunità degli Israeliti si ritirò dalla presenza di Mosè.	20 And all the multitude of the sons of Israel, departing from the sight of Moses,
21 Quanti erano di cuore generoso ed erano mossi dal loro spirito, vennero a portare il contributo per il Signore, per la costruzione della tenda del convegno, per tutti i suoi oggetti di culto e per le vesti sacre.	21 offered the first-fruits to the Lord with a most ready and devout mind, to accomplish the work of the tabernacle of the testimony. Whatever was needed for worship and for the holy vestments,
22 Vennero uomini e donne, quanti erano di cuore generoso, e portarono fermagli, pendenti, anelli, collane, ogni sorta di gioielli d’oro: quanti volevano presentare un’offerta d’oro al Signore, la portarono.	22 men along with women provided: arm bands and earrings, rings and bracelets. And every vessel of gold was separated, to be donated to the Lord.
23 Quanti si trovavano in possesso di tessuti di porpora viola e rossa, di scarlatto, di bisso, di pelo di capra, di pelli di montone tinte di rosso e di pelli di tasso, ne portarono.	23 If anyone had hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, fine linen and the hair of goats, the skins of rams, dyed red, and violet skins,
24 Quanti potevano offrire un contributo in argento o bronzo, lo portarono al Signore. Coloro che si trovavano in possesso di legno di acacia per qualche opera della costruzione, ne portarono.	24 metal of silver and brass, they offered it to the Lord, along with setim wood for various uses.
25 Inoltre, tutte le donne esperte filarono con le mani e portarono filati di porpora viola e rossa, di scarlatto e di bisso.	25 But the skillful women also gave whatever they had spun: hyacinth, purple, and vermillion, as well as fine linen,
26 Tutte le donne che erano di cuore generoso, secondo la loro abilità, filarono il pelo di capra.	26 and the hair of goats, donating everything of their own accord.
27 I capi portarono le pietre di ònice e le pietre preziose da incastonare nell’efod e nel pettorale,	27 Yet truly, the leaders offered onyx stones and gems, for the ephod and the breastplate,
28 balsami e olio per l’illuminazione, per l’olio dell’unzione e per l’incenso aromatico.	28 and aromatics and oil, to maintain the lights, and to prepare ointment, and also to produce incense with a most sweet odor.
29 Così tutti, uomini e donne, che erano di cuore disposto a portare qualche cosa per la costruzione che il Signore per mezzo di Mosè aveva comandato di fare, la portarono: gli Israeliti portarono la loro offerta spontanea al Signore.	29 All the men and women offered donations with a devout mind, so that the works might be done which the Lord had ordered by the hand of Moses. All the sons of Israel dedicated voluntary offerings to the Lord.
30 Mosè disse agli Israeliti: «Vedete, il Signore ha chiamato per nome Besalèl, figlio di Urì, figlio di Cur, della tribù di Giuda.	30 And Moses said to the sons of Israel: “Behold, the Lord has called by name Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, from the tribe of Judah,
31 L’ha riempito dello spirito di Dio, perché egli abbia saggezza, intelligenza e scienza in ogni genere di lavoro,	31 and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, and understanding, and knowledge, and all teaching,
32 per ideare progetti da realizzare in oro, argento, bronzo,	32 to design and to fashion, with gold and silver and brass,
33 per intagliare le pietre da incastonare, per scolpire il legno ed eseguire ogni sorta di lavoro artistico.	33 and with engraving stones, and with the skill of a carpenter. Whatever can be skillfully invented,
34 Gli ha anche messo nel cuore il dono di insegnare, e così anche ha fatto con Ooliàb, figlio di Achisamàc, della tribù di Dan.	34 he has given to his heart. It is likewise with Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach from the tribe of Dan.
35 Li ha riempiti di saggezza per compiere ogni genere di lavoro d’intagliatore, di disegnatore, di ricamatore in porpora viola, in porpora rossa, in scarlatto e in bisso, e di tessitore: capaci di realizzare ogni sorta di lavoro e di ideare progetti».	35 He has taught both of them wisdom, in order to do the work of carpentry, tapestry, and embroidery, from hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, and fine linen, and every textile, and to discover whatever may be new.”
