1 Quanto alle classi dei portieri, per i Coriti vi era Meselemia, figlio di Cori, dei figli di Asaf.	1 Now the divisions of the porters were, from the Korahites: Meshelemiah, the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
2 Figli di Meselemia: Zaccaria il primogenito, Iediaèl il secondo, Zebadia il terzo, Iatnièl il quarto,	2 The sons of Meshelemiah: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,

14 Per il lato orientale la sorte toccò a Selemia; a Zaccaria, suo figlio, consigliere assennato, per sorteggio toccò il lato settentrionale,	14 And the lot of the east fell out to Shelemiah. But to his son Zechariah, a very prudent and learned man, the northern section was obtained by lot.

28 Inoltre c’erano tutte le cose consacrate dal veggente Samuele, da Saul, figlio di Kis, da Abner, figlio di Ner, e da Ioab, figlio di Seruià; tutte queste cose consacrate dipendevano da Selomìt e dai suoi fratelli.	28 Now all these things were sanctified by Samuel, the seer, and by Saul, the son of Kish, and by Abner, the son of Ner, and by Joab, the son of Zeruiah. 29 Fra i discendenti di Isar, Chenania e i suoi figli erano addetti agli affari esterni d’Israele come scribi e giudici.	29 Yet truly, Chenaniah and his sons were over the Izharites, for the exterior works concerning Israel, in order to teach and to judge them.
30 Fra i discendenti di Ebron, Casabia e i suoi fratelli, uomini valorosi, in numero di millesettecento, erano addetti alla sorveglianza d’Israele, dal lato occidentale del Giordano, per il culto del Signore e al servizio del re.	30 Now from the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brothers, one thousand seven hundred very strong men, were in charge of Israel across the Jordan toward the west, in all the works of the Lord, and in the ministry of the king.
31 Fra i discendenti di Ebron c’era Ieria, il capo degli Ebroniti, secondo le loro generazioni e i loro casati; nell’anno quarantesimo del regno di Davide si fecero ricerche e fra loro si trovarono uomini valorosi a Iazer di Gàlaad.	31 And the leader of the Hebronites was Jerijah, according to their families and kindred. In the fortieth year of the reign of David, they were numbered, and there were found very strong men in Jazer Gilead.
32 Tra i fratelli di Ieria, uomini valorosi, c’erano duemilasettecento capi di casato. Il re Davide diede a costoro autorità sui Rubeniti, sui Gaditi e su metà della tribù di Manasse per tutte le questioni riguardanti Dio e quelle riguardanti il re.	32 And his brothers of a mature age were two thousand seven hundred leaders of families. Then king David placed them in charge of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the one half tribe of Manasseh, in all of the ministries of God and of the king.
