2 Cuando el edomita Doeg vino a avisar a Saúl diciéndole: «David ha entrado en casa de Ajimélek».	2 when Doeg the Edomite went and told Saul, "David went to the house of Ahimelech."
3 ¿Por qué te glorías del mal, héroe de infamia? Todo el día	3 Why do you glory in evil, you scandalous liar? All day long
4 pensando estás en crímenes, tu lengua es una afilada navaja, oh artífice de engaño.	4 you plot destruction; your tongue is like a sharpened razor, you skillful deceiver.
5 El mal al bien prefieres, la mentira a la justicia; Pausa.	5 You love evil rather than good, lies rather than honest speech. Selah
6 amas toda palabra de perdición, oh lengua engañadora.	6 You love any word that destroys, you deceitful tongue.
7 Por eso Dios te aplastará, te destruirá por siempre, te arrancará de tu tienda, te extirpará de la tierra de los vivos. Pausa.	7 Now God will strike you down, leave you crushed forever, Pluck you from your tent, uproot you from the land of the living. Selah
8 Los justos lo verán y temerán, se reirán de él:	8 The righteous will look on with awe; they will jeer and say:
9 «¡Ese es el hombre que no puso en Dios su refugio, mas en su gran riqueza confiaba, se jactaba de su crimen!»	9 "That one did not take God as a refuge, but trusted in great wealth, relied on devious plots."
10 Mas yo, como un olivo verde en la Casa de Dios, en el amor de Dios confío para siempre jamás.	10 But I, like an olive tree in the house of God, trust in God's faithful love forever.
11 Te alabaré eternamente por lo que has hecho; esperaré en tu nombre, porque es bueno con los que te aman	11 I will praise you always for what you have done. I will proclaim before the faithful that your name is good.
