Salmos 148

BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 ¡Aleluya! ¡Alabad a Yahveh desde los cielos, alabadle en las alturas,	1 Al eluia! Praise Yahweh from the heavens, praise him in the heights.
2 alabadle, ángeles suyos todos, todas sus huestes, alabadle!	2 Praise him, all his angels, praise him, al his host!
3 ¡Alabadle, sol y luna, alabadle todas las estrellas de luz,	3 Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, al shining stars,
4 alabadle, cielos de los cielos, y aguas que estáis encima de los cielos!	4 praise him, highest heavens, praise him, waters above the heavens.
5 Alaben ellos el nombre de Yahveh: pues él ordenó y fueron creados;	5 Let them praise the name of Yahweh at whose command they were made;
6 él los fijó por siempre, por los siglos, ley les dio que no pasará.	6 he established them for ever and ever by an unchanging decree.
7 ¡Alabad a Yahveh desde la tierra, monstruos del mar y todos los abismos,	7 Praise Yahweh from the earth, sea-monsters and all the depths,
8 fuego y granizo, nieve y bruma, viento tempestuoso, ejecutor de su palabra,	8 fire and hail, snow and mist, storm-winds that obey his word,
9 montañas y todas la colinas, árbol frutal y cedros todos,	9 mountains and every hill, orchards and every cedar,
10 fieras y todos los ganados, reptil y pájaro que vuela,	10 wild animals and al cattle, reptiles and winged birds,
11 reyes de la tierra y pueblos todos, príncipes y todos los jueces de la tierra,	11 kings of the earth and al nations, princes and all judges on earth,
12 jóvenes y doncellas también, viejos junto con los niños!	12 young men and girls, old people and children together.
13 Alaben el nombre de Yahveh: porque sólo su nombre es sublime, su majestad por encima de la tierra y el cielo.	13 Let them praise the name of Yahweh, for his name alone is sublime, his splendour transcends earthand heaven.
14 El realza la frente de su pueblo, de todos sus amigos alabanza, de los hijos de Israel, pueblo de sus íntimos.	14 For he heightens the strength of his people, to the praise of al his faithful, the children of Israel, thepeople close to him.
