Psalmen 128

1 [Ein Wallfahrtslied.] Wohl dem Mann, der den Herrn fürchtet und ehrt und der auf seinen Wegen geht!	1 Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
2 Was deine Hände erwarben, kannst du genießen; wohl dir, es wird dir gut ergehn.	2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
3 Wie ein fruchtbarer Weinstock ist deine Frau drinnen in deinem Haus. Wie junge Ölbäume sind deine Kinder rings um deinen Tisch.	3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
4 So wird der Mann gesegnet, der den Herrn fürchtet und ehrt.	4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
5 Es segne dich der Herr vom Zion her. Du sollst dein Leben lang das Glück Jerusalems schauen	5 The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
6 und die Kinder deiner Kinder sehn. Frieden über Israel!	6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.
