1 - Anche la parte toccata in sorte ai figli di Giuseppe si estendeva dal Giordano di fronte a Gerico e alle sue acque verso oriente. Il confine cominciava col deserto che sale da Gerico al monte di Betel,	1 Similarly, the lot of the sons of Joseph fell from the Jordan, opposite Jericho and its waters, to the east, to the wilderness that ascends from Jericho to the mountain of Bethel.

8 Da Tafua il confine andava verso occidente alla Valle del canneto e terminava verso il mare assai salato.
