1 - Anche la parte toccata in sorte ai figli di Giuseppe si estendeva dal Giordano di fronte a Gerico e alle sue acque verso oriente. Il confine cominciava col deserto che sale da Gerico al monte di Betel,	1 The lot that fell to the Josephites extended from the Jordan at Jericho to the waters of Jericho east of the desert; then the boundary went up from Jericho to the heights at Bethel.
2 e che partendo da Betel Luza passava verso il limite di Archi di Atarot,	2 Leaving Bethel for Luz, it crossed the ridge to the border of the Archites at Ataroth,
3 e discendeva verso occidente al confine di Jeflet fino ai confini di Betoron inferiore e di Gazer per terminare al Gran Mare.	3 and descended westward to the border of the Japhletites, to that of the Lower Beth-horon, and to Gezer, ending thence at the sea.
