1 Questa è la discendenza dei figli di Noè: Sem, Cam e Iafet, ai quali nacquero figli dopo il diluvio.	1 These are the descendants of Noah's sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, to whom sons were born afterthe flood:
2 I figli di Iafet: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Iavan, Tubal, Mesech e Tiras.	2 Japheth's sons: Gomer, Magog, the Medes, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, Tiras.
3 I figli di Gomer: Àskenaz, Rifat e Togarma.	3 Gomer's sons: Ashkenaz, Riphath, Togarmah.
4 I figli di Iavan: Elisa, Tarsis, quelli di Cipro e quelli di Rodi.	4 Javan's sons: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittim, the Dananites.
5 Da costoro derivarono le nazioni disperse per le isole nei loro territori, ciascuno secondo la propria lingua e secondo le loro famiglie, nelle loro nazioni.	5 From these came the dispersal to the islands of the nations. These were Japheth's sons, in theirrespective countries, each with its own language, by clan and nation.
6 I figli di Cam: Etiopia, Egitto, Put e Canaan.	6 Ham's sons: Cush, Mizraim, Put, Canaan.
7 I figli di Etiopia: Seba, Avìla, Sabta, Raama e Sàbteca. I figli di Raama: Saba e Dedan.	7 Cush's sons: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, Sabteca. Raamah's sons: Sheba, Dedan.
8 Ora Etiopia generò Nimrod: costui cominciò a essere potente sulla terra.	8 Cush fathered Nimrod who was the first potentate on earth.

12 e Resen tra Ninive e Càlach; quella è la grande città.	12 and Resen between Nineveh and Calah (this being the capital).

20 Questi furono i figli di Cam secondo le loro famiglie e le loro lingue, nei loro territori e nei loro popoli.	20 These were Ham's sons, by clans and languages, by countries and nations.
21 Anche a Sem, padre di tutti i figli di Eber, fratello maggiore di Jafet, nacque una discendenza.	21 Shem too fathered sons, being ancestor of all the sons of Eber and Japheth's elder brother.
22 I figli di Sem: Elam, Assur, Arpacsad, Lud e Aram.	22 Shem's sons: Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, Aram.
23 I figli di Aram: Uz, Cul, Gheter e Mas.	23 Aram's sons: Uz, Hul, Gether and Mash.

30 la loro sede era sulle montagne dell'oriente, da Mesa in direzione di Sefar.	30 They occupied a stretch of country from Mesha all the way to Sephar, the eastern mountain range.

32 Queste furono le famiglie dei figli di Noè secondo le loro generazioni, nei loro popoli. Da costoro si dispersero le nazioni sulla terra dopo il diluvio.	32 Such were the clans of Noah's descendants, listed by descent and nation. From them, other nationsbranched out on earth after the flood.
