Salmos 32

BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 De David. Poema. ¡Dichoso el que es perdonado de su culpa, y le queda cubierto su pecado!	1 [Of David Poem] How blessed are those whose offence is forgiven, whose sin blotted out.
2 Dichoso el hombre a quien Yahveh no le cuenta el delito, y en cuyo espíritu no hay fraude.	2 How blessed are those to whom Yahweh imputes no guilt, whose spirit harbours no deceit.
3 Cuando yo me callaba, se sumían mis huesos en mi rugir de cada día,	3 I said not a word, but my bones wasted away from groaning al the day;
4 mientras pesaba, día y noche, tu mano sobre mí; mi corazón se alteraba como un campo en los ardores del estío. Pausa.	4 day and night your hand lay heavy upon me; my heart grew parched as stubble in summerdrought.Pause
5 Mi pecado te reconocí, y no oculté mi culpa; dije: «Me confesaré a Yahveh de mis rebeldías». Y tú absolviste mi culpa, perdonaste mi pecado. Pausa.	5 I made my sin known to you, did not conceal my guilt. I said, 'I shal confess my offence to Yahweh.'And you, for your part, took away my guilt, forgave my sin.Pause
6 Por eso te suplica todo el que te ama en la hora de la angustia. Y aunque las muchas aguas se desborden, no le alcanzarán.	6 That is why each of your faithful ones prays to you in time of distress. Even if great floods overflow,they will never reach your faithful.
7 Tú eres un cobijo para mí, de la angustia me guardas, estás en torno a mí para salvarme. Pausa.	7 You are a refuge for me, you guard me in trouble, with songs of deliverance you surround me.Pause
8 Voy a instruirte, a mostrarte el camino a seguir; fijos en ti los ojos, seré tu consejero.	8 I shal instruct you and teach you the way to go; I shall not take my eyes off you.
9 No seas cual caballo o mulo sin sentido, rienda y freno hace falta para domar su brío, si no, no se te acercan.	9 Be not like a horse or a mule; that does not understand bridle or bit; if you advance to master them,there is no means of bringing them near.
10 Copiosas son las penas del impío, al que confía en Yahveh el amor le envuelve.	10 Countless troubles are in store for the wicked, but one who trusts in Yahweh is enfolded in his faithfullove.
11 ¡Alegraos en Yahveh, oh justos, exultad, gritad de gozo, todos los de recto corazón!	11 Rejoice in Yahweh, exult al you upright, shout for joy, you honest of heart.
