BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 ¡Aleluya! Alef. Doy gracias a Yahveh de todo corazón, Bet. en el consejo de los justos y en la comunidad.	1 Al eluia! I give thanks to Yahweh with al my heart, in the meeting-place of honest people, in theassembly.
2 Guímel. Grandes son las obras de Yahveh, Dálet. meditadas por los que en ellas se complacen.	2 Great are the deeds of Yahweh, to be pondered by al who delight in them.
3 He. Esplendor y majestad su obra, Vau. su justicia por siempre permanece.	3 Ful of splendour and majesty his work, his saving justice stands firm for ever.
4 Zain. De sus maravillas ha dejado un memorial. Jet. ¡Clemente y compasivo Yahveh!	4 He gives us a memorial of his great deeds; Yahweh is mercy and tenderness.
5 Tet. Ha dado alimento a quienes le temen, Yod. se acuerda por siempre de su alianza.	5 He gives food to those who fear him, he keeps his covenant ever in mind.
6 Kaf. Ha revelado a su pueblo el poder de sus obras, Lámed. dándole la heredad de las naciones.	6 His works show his people his power in giving them the birthright of the nations.
7 Mem. Verdad y justicia, las obras de sus manos, Nun. leales todas sus ordenanzas,	7 The works of his hands are fidelity and justice, al his precepts are trustworthy,
8 Sámek. afirmadas para siempre jamás, Ain. ejecutadas con verdad y rectitud.	8 established for ever and ever, accomplished in fidelity and honesty.
9 Pe. Ha enviado redención a su pueblo, Sade. ha fijado para siempre su alianza; Qof. santo y temible es su nombre.	9 Deliverance he sends to his people, his covenant he imposes for ever; holy and awesome his name.
10 Res. Principio del saber, el temor de Yahveh; Sin. muy cuerdos todos los que lo practican. Tau. Su alabanza por siempre permanece.	10 The root of wisdom is fear of Yahweh; those who attain it are wise. His praise wil continue for ever.
