BIBBIA RICCIOTTI	NEW AMERICAN BIBLE
1 - Beseleel dunque, Ooliab, e tutti gli esperti artefici ai quali il Signore aveva dato sapienza ed intelligenza acciò sapessero lavorare tutte le cose necessarie per l'uso del santuario, eseguirono quel che il Signore aveva comandato.	1 "Bezalel, therefore, will set to work with Oholiab and with all the experts whom the LORD has endowed with skill and understanding in knowing how to execute all the work for the service of the sanctuary, just as the LORD has commanded."
2 Mosè li chiamò, con tutti gli abili artisti ai quali il Signore aveva dato sapienza, e che s'erano spontaneamente offerti a far il lavoro;	2 Moses then called Bezalel and Oholiab and all the other experts whom the LORD had endowed with skill, men whose hearts moved them to come and take part in the work.
3 e consegnò loro tutti i donativi de' figli d' Israele. Essendosi poi quelli messi all'opera, ogni mattina il popolo offriva nuovi doni.	3 They received from Moses all the contributions which the Israelites had brought for establishing the service of the sanctuary. Still, morning after morning the people continued to bring their voluntary offerings to Moses.
4 Perciò gli artefici furon obbligati a venire	4 Thereupon the experts who were executing the various kinds of work for the sanctuary, all left the work they were doing,
5 a Mosè, e dirgli: «Il popolo ha offerto più di quello che è necessario».	5 and told Moses, "The people are bringing much more than is needed to carry out the work which the LORD has commanded us to do."
6 Mosè allora comandò che un araldo bandisse: «Nè uomo nè donna offra più cosa alcuna pel lavoro del santuario». Così smisero di portar doni,	6 Moses, therefore, ordered a proclamation to be made throughout the camp: "Let neither man nor woman make any more contributions for the sanctuary." So the people stopped bringing their offerings;
7 essendo che i già portati bastavano, e ne sopravanzava.	7 there was already enough at hand, in fact, more than enough, to complete the work to be done.
8 Eseguire il lavoro del tabernacolo, quelli esperti artefici fecero dieci cortine di bisso ritorto, giacinto, porpora e cocco tinto due volte, di vario lavoro e di vario colore;	8 The various experts who were executing the work, made the Dwelling with its ten sheets woven of fine linen twined, having cherubim embroidered on them with violet, purple and scarlet yarn.
9 delle quali ciascuna aveva ventotto cubiti di lunghezza e quattro di larghezza, tutte le cortine essendo della stessa misura.	9 The length of each sheet was twenty-eight cubits, and the width four cubits; all the sheets were of the same size.
10 Beseleel riunì una con l'altra cinque di quelle cortine e riunì parimenti fra loro le altre cinque.	10 Five of the sheets were sewed together, edge to edge; and the same for the other five.
11 Fece anche dei legaccioli di giacinto sull'orlo d'una cortina, ai due lati, ed altrettanti sull'orlo di un'altra cortina,	11 Loops of violet yarn were made along the edge of the end sheet in the first set, and the same along the edge of the end sheet in the second set.
12 di modo che i legaccioli si corrispondessero e si potessero legare uno con l'altro.	12 Fifty loops were thus put on one inner sheet, and fifty loops on the inner sheet in the other set, with the loops directly opposite each other.
13 Perciò anche fuse cinquanta anelli d'oro per stringere i legaccioli delle cortine, e farne tutta una copertura.	13 Then fifty clasps of gold were made, with which the sheets were joined so that the Dwelling formed one whole.
14 Fece anche undici teli di pelo di capra, per coprire il tetto del tabernacolo;	14 Sheets of goat hair were also woven as a tent over the Dwelling. Eleven such sheets were made.
15 un telo aveva trenta cubiti di lunghezza, e quattro di larghezza; tutti i teli erano della stessa misura;	15 The length of each sheet was thirty cubits and the width four cubits; all eleven sheets were the same size.
16 nè riunì insieme cinque da sè, e gli altri sei da sè.	16 Five of these sheets were sewed edge to edge into one set; and the other six sheets into another set.
17 Mise cinquanta legaccioli sull'orlo d'un telo, e cinquanta sull'orlo d'un altro telo, perché fossero annodati insieme,	17 Fifty loops were made along the edge of the end sheet in one set, and fifty loops along the edge of the corresponding sheet in the other set.
18 con, cinquanta fibbie di bronzo per tenerli uniti, e fare di tutti i teli una sola copertura.	18 Fifty bronze clasps were made with which the tent was joined so that it formed one whole.
19 Fece poi un'altra copertura pel tabernacolo, di pelli d'ariete tinte in rosso; ed un'altra ancora sopra a quella, di pelli tinte in violaceo.	19 A covering for the tent was made of rams' skins dyed red, and above that, a covering of tahash skins.
20 Fece poi le assi del tabernacolo, da star ritte, in legno di setim.	20 Boards of acacia wood were made as walls for the Dwelling.
21 La lunghezza di un'asse era di dieci cubiti, e la larghezza d'un cubito e mezzo.	21 The length of each board was ten cubits, and the width one and a half cubits.
22 V'erano due incastrature per ogni asse, per congiungerla con un'altra. Così fece di tutte le assi del tabernacolo.	22 Each board had two arms, fastening them in line. In this way all the boards of the Dwelling were made.
23 Venti di queste erano dal lato meridionale che guarda ad austro,	23 They were set up as follows: twenty boards on the south side,
24 con quaranta basi d'argento. Per ogni asse v'erano due basi, da piede, ai due lati degli angoli terminano le incastrature laterali.	24 with forty silver pedestals under the twenty boards, so that there were two pedestals under each board, at its two arms;
25 Anche pel lato del tabernacolo che guarda a tramontana, fece venti assi	25 twenty boards on the other side of the Dwelling, the north side,
26 con quaranta basi d'argento: due basi per ogni asse.	26 with their forty silver pedestals, two under each board;
27 Verso occidente però, cioè da quella parte del tabernacolo che guarda il mare; pose sei assi;	27 six boards at the rear of the Dwelling, to the west;
28 e due altre per ciascuno degli angoli posteriori del tabernacolo:	28 and two boards at the corners in the rear of the Dwelling.
29 queste erano unite fra loro da cima a fondo, e venivano a far tutto un pezzo. Così fece da ambedue le parti agli angoli,	29 These were double at the bottom, and likewise double at the top, to the first ring. That is how both boards in the corners were made.
30 di modo che fossero otto assi, ed avessero sedici basi d'argento; cioè due basi per ogni asse.	30 Thus, there were in the rear eight boards, with their sixteen silver pedestals, two pedestals under each board.
31 Fece poi cinque traverse di legno di setim, per tener ferme le assi d'una parete del tabernacolo,	31 Bars of acacia wood were also made, five for the boards on one side of the Dwelling,
32 ed altre cinque per tener ferme le assi dell'altra parete; ed oltre queste, cinque, altre traverse alla parete occidentale del tabernacolo voltata verso il mare.	32 five for those on the other side, and five for those at the rear, to the west.
33 Fece anche un'altra traversa, che andasse per la metà delle assi da un angolo all'altro.	33 The center bar, at the middle of the boards, was made to reach across from end to end.
34 Coprì poi di lamina d'oro l'assito, fondendone in argento le basi. E fece degli anelli d'oro, attraverso ai quali passassero le traverse, ricoperte egualmente di lamine d'oro.	34 The boards were plated with gold, and gold rings were made on them as holders for the bars, which were also plated with gold.
35 Fece anche il velo di giacinto, porpora, scarlatto, e bisso ritorto, di lavoro di più colori, variato e ricamato;	35 The veil was woven of violet, purple and scarlet yarn, and of fine linen twined, with cherubim embroidered on it.
36 e quattro colonne, di legno di setim, le quali dorò coi loro capitelli, fondendone in argento le basi.	36 Four gold-plated columns of acacia wood, with gold hooks, were made for it, and four silver pedestals were cast for them.
37 Fece anche la tenda all'ingresso del tabernacolo, di giacinto, porpora, scarlatto e bisso ritorto, a ricami;	37 The curtain for the entrance of the tent was made of violet, purple and scarlet yarn, and of fine linen twined, woven in a variegated manner.
38 e cinque colonne coi loro capitelli, le quali ricoprì d'oro, e ne gettò in bronzo le basi.	38 Its five columns, with their hooks as well as their capitals and bands, were plated with gold; their five pedestals were of bronze.
