NOVA VULGATA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Igitur, congregato omni coetu filiorum Israel, dixit ad eos: “ Haec sunt, quae iussit Dominus fieri:	1 Moses assembled the whole community of Israelites and said, 'These are the things Yahweh hasordered to be done:
2 sex diebus facietis opus, septimus dies erit vobis sanctus, sabbatum et requies Domino; qui fecerit opus in eo, occidetur.	2 Work must be done for six days, but the seventh must be a holy day for you, a day of complete rest, inhonour of Yahweh. Anyone who does any work on that day wil be put to death.
3 Non succendetis ignem in omnibus habitaculis vestris per diem sabbati ”.	3 You will not light a fire on the Sabbath day in any of your homes.'
4 Et ait Moyses ad omnem coetum filiorum Israel: “ Iste est sermo, quem praecepit Dominus dicens:	4 Moses spoke to the whole community of Israelites. 'This', he said, 'is what Yahweh has ordered:
5 "Separate apud vos donaria Domino". Omnis voluntarius et proni animi offerat ea Domino: aurum et argentum et aes,	5 Set aside a contribution for Yahweh out of your possessions. Everyone whose heart prompts him to doso should bring a contribution for Yahweh: gold, silver and bronze;
6 hyacinthum et purpuram coccumque et byssum, pilos caprarum	6 materials dyed violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, finely woven linen, goats' hair,
7 et pelles arietum rubricatas et pelles delphini, ligna acaciae	7 rams' skins dyed red, fine leather, acacia wood,
8 et oleum ad luminaria concinnanda et aromata, ut conficiatur unguentum et thymiama suavissimum,	8 oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense;
9 lapides onychinos et gemmas ad ornatum ephod et pectoralis.	9 cornelian and other stones to be set in the ephod and breastplate.
10 Quisquis vestrum sapiens est, veniat et faciat, quod Dominus imperavit,	10 And al those of you who have the skil must come and make everything that Yahweh has ordered:
11 habitaculum scilicet et tentorium eius atque operimentum, fibulas et tabulata cum vectibus, columnas et bases;	11 the Dwel ing, its tent and its covering, its clasps and its frames, its crossbars, its pillars and itssockets;
12 arcam et vectes, propitiatorium et velum, quod ante illud oppanditur;	12 the ark, its shafts and al its accessories, the mercy-seat and the screening curtain;
13 mensam cum vectibus et vasis et propositionis panibus;	13 the table, its shafts and al its accessories, and the loaves of permanent offering;
14 candelabrum ad luminaria sustentanda, vasa illius et lucernas et oleum ad nutrimenta luminarium;	14 the lamp-stand for the light, its accessories, its lamps, and the oil for the light;
15 altare thymiamatis et vectes et oleum unctionis et thymiama ex aromatibus; velum ad ostium habitaculi;	15 the altar of incense and its shafts, the anointing oil, the fragrant incense, and the screen for theentrance, for the entrance of the tent;
16 altare holocausti et craticulam eius aeneam cum vectibus et vasis suis, labrum et basim eius;	16 the altar of burnt offerings and its bronze grating, its shafts, and all its accessories; the basin and itsstand;
17 cortinas atrii cum columnis et basibus, velum in foribus atrii;	17 the curtaining for the court, its poles, its sockets, and the screen for the entrance to the court;
18 paxillos habitaculi et atrii cum funiculis suis;	18 the pegs for the Dwel ing and the pegs for the court, and their cords;
19 vestimenta texta, quorum usus est in ministerio sanctuarii, vestes sanctas Aaron pontificis ac vestes filiorum eius, ut sacerdotio fungantur mihi ”.	19 the liturgical vestments for service in the sanctuary -- the sacred vestments for Aaron the priest, andthe vestments for his sons, for their priestly functions.'

21 et venit, quisquis erat mentis promptissimae, et attulit sponte sua donaria Domino ad faciendum opus tabernaculi conventus et quidquid ad cultum et ad vestes sanctas necessarium erat.	21 And al those whose heart stirred them and al those whose spirit prompted them brought acontribution for Yahweh, for the work on the Tent of Meeting, for its general service and for the sacredvestments.
22 Viri cum mulieribus, omnes voluntarii praebuerunt fibulas et inaures, anulos et dextralia; omne vas aureum in donaria Domini separatum est.	22 Men and women, they came, al those whose heart prompted them, bringing brooches, rings,bracelets, necklaces, golden objects of every kind -- all those who had vowed gold to Yahweh,

27 Principes vero obtulerunt lapides onychinos et gemmas ad ephod et pectorale	27 The leaders brought cornelians and other stones to be set in the ephod and breastplate,
28 aromataque et oleum ad luminaria concinnanda et ad praeparandum unguentum ac thymiama odoris suavissimi componendum.	28 and the spices and oil for the light, for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense.
29 Omnes viri et mulieres mente prompta obtulerunt donaria, ut fierent opera, quae iusserat Dominus per manum Moysi. Cuncti filii Israel voluntaria Domino dedicaverunt.	29 Al those Israelites, men and women, whose heart prompted them to contribute to the entire work thatYahweh had ordered through Moses to be done, brought a contribution to Yahweh.
30 Dixitque Moyses ad filios Israel: “ Ecce vocavit Dominus ex nomine Beseleel filium Uri filii Hur de tribu Iudae;	30 Moses then said to the Israelites, 'Look, Yahweh has singled out Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of thetribe of Judah,
31 implevitque eum spiritu Dei, sapientia et intellegentia et scientia ad omne opus,	31 and has filled him with the spirit of God in wisdom, knowledge and skil in every kind of craft:
32 ad excogitandum et faciendum opus in auro et argento et aere,	32 in designing and carrying out work in gold and silver and bronze,
33 ad scindendum et includendum gemmas et ad sculpendum ligna, quidquid fabre adinveniri potest.	33 in cutting stones to be set, in wood carving and in executing every kind of work.
34 Dedit quoque in corde eius, ut alios doceret, ipsi et Ooliab filio Achisamech de tribu Dan.	34 And on him and on Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, he has bestowed the gift ofteaching,
35 Ambos implevit sapientia, ut faciant opera fabri polymitarii ac plumarii de hyacintho ac purpura coccoque et bysso et textoris, facientes omne opus ac nova quaeque reperientes ”.	35 and filled them with the skill to carry out every kind of work, that of the engraver, that of theembroiderer, that of the needleworker in violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and fine linen, that of theweaver, and indeed that of every kind of craftsman and designer.'
