1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè e disse:	1 The LORD said to Moses:
2 «Parla agli Israeliti dicendo loro: “Quando un uomo o una donna farà un voto speciale, il voto di nazireato, per consacrarsi al Signore,	2 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When a man (or a woman) solemnly takes the nazirite vow to dedicate himself to the LORD,
3 si asterrà dal vino e dalle bevande inebrianti, non berrà aceto di vino né aceto di bevanda inebriante, non berrà liquori tratti dall’uva e non mangerà uva, né fresca né secca.	3 he shall abstain from wine and strong drink; he may neither drink wine vinegar, other vinegar, of any kind of grape juice, nor eat either fresh or dried grapes.
4 Per tutto il tempo del suo nazireato non mangerà alcun prodotto della vite, dai chicchi acerbi alle vinacce.	4 As long as he is a nazirite he shall not eat anything of the produce of the vine; not even unripe grapes or grapeskins.
5 Per tutto il tempo del suo voto di nazireato il rasoio non passerà sul suo capo; finché non siano compiuti i giorni per i quali si è votato al Signore, sarà sacro: lascerà crescere liberamente la capigliatura del suo capo.	5 While he is under the nazirite vow, no razor shall touch his hair. Until the period of his dedication to the LORD is over, he shall be sacred, and shall let the hair of his head grow freely.
6 Per tutto il tempo in cui rimane votato al Signore, non si avvicinerà a un cadavere;	6 As long as he is dedicated to the LORD, he shall not enter where a dead person is.
7 si trattasse anche di suo padre, di sua madre, di suo fratello e di sua sorella, non si renderà impuro per loro alla loro morte, perché porta sul capo il segno della sua consacrazione a Dio.	7 Not even for his father or mother, his sister or brother, should they die, may he become unclean, since his head bears his dedication to God.
8 Per tutto il tempo del suo nazireato egli è sacro al Signore.	8 As long as he is a nazirite he is sacred to the LORD.
9 Se qualcuno gli muore accanto all’improvviso e rende impuro il suo capo consacrato, nel giorno della sua purificazione si raderà il capo: se lo raderà il settimo giorno;	9 "If someone dies very suddenly in his presence, so that his dedicated head becomes unclean, he shall shave his head on the day of his purification, that is, on the seventh day.
10 l’ottavo giorno porterà due tortore o due piccoli di colomba al sacerdote, all’ingresso della tenda del convegno.	10 On the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves or two pigeons to the priest at the entrance of the meeting tent.
11 Il sacerdote ne offrirà uno in sacrificio per il peccato e l’altro in olocausto e compirà il rito espiatorio per lui, per il peccato in cui è incorso a causa di quel morto. In quel giorno stesso, il nazireo consacrerà così il suo capo.	11 The priest shall offer up the one as a sin offering and the other as a holocaust, thus making atonement for him for the sin he has committed by reason of the dead person. On the same day he shall reconsecrate his head
12 Consacrerà di nuovo al Signore i giorni del suo nazireato e offrirà un agnello dell’anno come sacrificio per il peccato; i giorni precedenti decadranno, perché il suo nazireato è stato reso impuro.	12 and begin anew the period of his dedication to the LORD as a nazirite, bringing a yearling lamb as a guilt offering. The previous period is not valid, because his dedicated head became unclean.
13 Questa è la legge per il nazireo: quando i giorni del suo nazireato saranno compiuti, lo si farà venire all’ingresso della tenda del convegno;	13 "This is the ritual for the nazirite: On the day he completes the period of his dedication he shall go to the entrance of the meeting tent,
14 egli presenterà l’offerta al Signore: un agnello dell’anno, senza difetto, per l’olocausto; una pecora dell’anno, senza difetto, per il sacrificio per il peccato; un ariete senza difetto, come sacrificio di comunione;	14 bringing as his offering to the LORD one unblemished yearling lamb for a holocaust, one unblemished yearling ewe lamb for a sin offering, one unblemished ram as a peace offering, along with their cereal offerings and libations,
15 un canestro di pani azzimi di fior di farina, di focacce impastate con olio, di schiacciate senza lievito unte d’olio, insieme con la loro oblazione e le loro libagioni.	15 and a basket of unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil and of unleavened wafers spread with oil.
16 Il sacerdote le offrirà davanti al Signore e compirà il suo sacrificio per il peccato e il suo olocausto;	16 The priest shall present them before the LORD, and shall offer up the sin offering and the holocaust for him.
17 offrirà l’ariete come sacrificio di comunione al Signore, oltre al canestro degli azzimi. Il sacerdote offrirà anche l’oblazione e la sua libagione.	17 He shall then offer up the ram as a peace offering to the LORD, with its cereal offering and libation, and the basket of unleavened cakes.
18 Il nazireo raderà, all’ingresso della tenda del convegno, il suo capo consacrato, prenderà la capigliatura del suo capo consacrato e la metterà sul fuoco che è sotto il sacrificio di comunione.	18 Then at the entrance of the meeting tent the nazirite shall shave his dedicated head, collect the hair, and put it in the fire that is under the peace offering.
19 Il sacerdote prenderà la spalla dell’ariete, quando sarà cotta, una focaccia non lievitata dal canestro e una schiacciata azzima e le porrà nelle mani del nazireo, dopo che questi avrà rasato la capigliatura consacrata.	19 After the nazirite has shaved off his dedicated hair, the priest shall take a boiled shoulder of the ram, as well as one unleavened cake and one unleavened wafer from the basket, and shall place them in the hands of the nazirite.
20 Il sacerdote le presenterà con il rito di elevazione davanti al Signore; è cosa santa che appartiene al sacerdote, insieme con il petto della vittima offerta con il rito di elevazione e la coscia della vittima offerta come tributo. Dopo, il nazireo potrà bere vino.	20 The priest shall then wave them as a wave offering before the LORD. They become sacred and shall belong to the priest, along with the breast of the wave offering and the leg of the raised offering. Only after this may the nazirite drink wine.
21 Questa è la legge per il nazireo che ha promesso la sua offerta al Signore per il suo nazireato, oltre quello che è in grado di fare in più, secondo il voto che avrà emesso. Così egli farà quanto alla legge del suo nazireato”».	21 "This, then, is the law for the nazirite; this is the offering to the LORD which is included in his vow of dedication apart from anything else which his means may allow. Thus shall he carry out the law of his dedication in keeping with the vow he has taken."
22 Il Signore parlò a Mosè e disse:	22 The LORD said to Moses:
23 «Parla ad Aronne e ai suoi figli dicendo: “Così benedirete gli Israeliti: direte loro:	23 "Speak to Aaron and his sons and tell them: This is how you shall bless the Israelites. Say to them:
24 Ti benedica il Signore e ti custodisca.	24 The LORD bless you and keep you!
25 Il Signore faccia risplendere per te il suo volto e ti faccia grazia.	25 The LORD let his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you!
26 Il Signore rivolga a te il suo volto e ti conceda pace”.	26 The LORD look upon you kindly and give you peace!
27 Così porranno il mio nome sugli Israeliti e io li benedirò».	27 So shall they invoke my name upon the Israelites, and I will bless them."
