| 8 E il loro cadavere rimarrà sulla piazza della città grande, la quale è chiamata spiritualmente Sodoma ed Egitto, ove anche il loro Signore fu crocifisso. | 8 Their corpses lie in the main street of the great city known by the symbolic names Sodom and Egypt,in which their Lord was crucified. |

| 10 E gli abitanti sulla terra gioiscono e si rallegrano sul conto loro, e si manderanno vicendevolmente regali, perché questi due profeti avevano tormentato gli abitanti sulla terra. | 10 and the people of the world are glad about it and celebrate the event by giving presents to eachother, because these two prophets have been a plague to the people of the world.' |
| 11 E dopo i tre giorni e mezzo uno spirito di vita da Dio entrò in essi, e ristettero sui loro piedi, e un timore grande cadde su quelli che li spiavano. | 11 After the three-and-a-half days, God breathed life into them and they stood up on their feet, andeverybody who saw it happen was terrified; |
| 12 E udirono una voce grande che dal cielo diceva loro: “Salite qual”. E salirono al cielo nella nube, e i loro nemici li spiavano. | 12 then I heard a loud voice from heaven say to them, 'Come up here,' and while their enemies werewatching, they went up to heaven in a cloud. |
| 13 E in quell’ora avvenne un terremoto grande, e la decima parte della città cadde, e furono uccise nel terremoto settemila persone, e i rimanenti divennero timorosi e diedero gloria al Dio del cielo». | 13 Immediately, there was a violent earthquake, and a tenth of the city col apsed; seven thousandpersons were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors, overcome with fear, could only praise the God ofheaven. |

The time has come to destroy those who are destroying the earth.' |
