1 Vi raccomando Febe, nostra sorella, che è al servizio della Chiesa di Cencre:	1 Now I commend to you our sister Phoebe, who is in the ministry of the church, which is at Cenchreae,
2 accoglietela nel Signore, come si addice ai santi, e assistetela in qualunque cosa possa avere bisogno di voi; anch’essa infatti ha protetto molti, e anche me stesso.	2 so that you may receive her in the Lord with the worthiness of the saints, and so that you may be of assistance to her in whatever task she will have need of you. For she herself has also assisted many, and myself also.
3 Salutate Prisca e Aquila, miei collaboratori in Cristo Gesù.	3 Greet Prisca and Aquila, my helpers in Christ Jesus,
4 Essi per salvarmi la vita hanno rischiato la loro testa, e a loro non io soltanto sono grato, ma tutte le Chiese del mondo pagano.	4 who have risked their own necks on behalf of my life, for whom I give thanks, not I alone, but also all the churches of the Gentiles;
5 Salutate anche la comunità che si riunisce nella loro casa. Salutate il mio amatissimo Epèneto, che è stato il primo a credere in Cristo nella provincia dell’Asia.	5 and greet the church at their house. Greet Epaenetus, my beloved, who is among the first-fruits of Asia in Christ.
6 Salutate Maria, che ha faticato molto per voi.	6 Greet Mary, who has labored much among you.
7 Salutate Andrònico e Giunia, miei parenti e compagni di prigionia: sono insigni tra gli apostoli ed erano in Cristo già prima di me.	7 Greet Andronicus and Junias, my kinsmen and fellow captives, who are noble among the Apostles, and who were in Christ prior to me.
8 Salutate Ampliato, che mi è molto caro nel Signore.	8 Greet Ampliatus, most beloved to me in the Lord.
9 Salutate Urbano, nostro collaboratore in Cristo, e il mio carissimo Stachi.	9 Greet Urbanus, our helper in Christ Jesus, and Stachys, my beloved.
10 Salutate Apelle, che ha dato buona prova in Cristo. Salutate quelli della casa di Aristòbulo.	10 Greet Apelles, who has been tested in Christ.
11 Salutate Erodione, mio parente. Salutate quelli della casa di Narciso che credono nel Signore.	11 Greet those who are from the household of Aristobulus. Greet Herodian, my kinsman. Greet those who are of the household of Narcissus, who are in the Lord.
12 Salutate Trifena e Trifosa, che hanno faticato per il Signore. Salutate la carissima Pèrside, che ha tanto faticato per il Signore.	12 Greet Tryphaena and Tryphosa, who labor in the Lord. Greet Persis, most beloved, who has labored much in the Lord.
13 Salutate Rufo, prescelto nel Signore, e sua madre, che è una madre anche per me.	13 Greet Rufus, elect in the Lord, and his mother and mine.
14 Salutate Asìncrito, Flegonte, Erme, Pàtroba, Erma e i fratelli che sono con loro.	14 Greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brothers who are with them.
15 Salutate Filòlogo e Giulia, Nereo e sua sorella e Olimpas e tutti i santi che sono con loro.	15 Greet Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints who are with them.
16 Salutatevi gli uni gli altri con il bacio santo. Vi salutano tutte le Chiese di Cristo.	16 Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.
17 Vi raccomando poi, fratelli, di guardarvi da coloro che provocano divisioni e ostacoli contro l’insegnamento che avete appreso: tenetevi lontani da loro.	17 But I beg you, brothers, to take note of those who cause dissensions and offenses contrary to the doctrine that you have learned, and to turn away from them.
18 Costoro, infatti, non servono Cristo nostro Signore, ma il proprio ventre e, con belle parole e discorsi affascinanti, ingannano il cuore dei semplici.	18 For ones such as these do not serve Christ our Lord, but their inner selves, and, through pleasing words and skillful speaking, they seduce the hearts of the innocent.
19 La fama della vostra obbedienza è giunta a tutti: mentre dunque mi rallegro di voi, voglio che siate saggi nel bene e immuni dal male.	19 But your obedience has been made known in every place. And so, I rejoice in you. But I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple in what is evil.
20 Il Dio della pace schiaccerà ben presto Satana sotto i vostri piedi. La grazia del Signore nostro Gesù sia con voi.	20 And may the God of peace quickly crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
21 Vi saluta Timòteo mio collaboratore, e con lui Lucio, Giasone, Sosípatro, miei parenti.	21 Timothy, my fellow laborer, greets you, and Lucius and Jason and Sosipater, my kinsmen.
22 Anch’io, Terzo, che ho scritto la lettera, vi saluto nel Signore.	22 I, Tertius, who wrote this epistle, greet you in the Lord.
23 Vi saluta Gaio, che ospita me e tutta la comunità. Vi salutano Erasto, tesoriere della città, e il fratello Quarto.	23 Gaius, my host, and the entire church, greets you. Erastus, the treasurer of the city, greets you, and Quartus, a brother.
24	24 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
25 A colui che ha il potere di confermarvi nel mio Vangelo, che annuncia Gesù Cristo, secondo la rivelazione del mistero, avvolto nel silenzio per secoli eterni,	25 But to him who is able to confirm you according to my Gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, in accord with the revelation of the mystery which has been hidden from time immemorial,
26 ma ora manifestato mediante le scritture dei Profeti, per ordine dell’eterno Dio, annunciato a tutte le genti perché giungano all’obbedienza della fede,	26 (which now has been made clear through the Scriptures of the Prophets, in accord with the precept of the eternal God, unto the obedience of faith) which has been made known among all the Gentiles:
27 a Dio, che solo è sapiente, per mezzo di Gesù Cristo, la gloria nei secoli. Amen.	27 to God, who alone is wise, through Jesus Christ, to him be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
