1 Vi raccomando Febe, nostra sorella, che è al servizio della Chiesa di Cencre:	1 I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deaconess of the church at Cenchreae;
2 accoglietela nel Signore, come si addice ai santi, e assistetela in qualunque cosa possa avere bisogno di voi; anch’essa infatti ha protetto molti, e anche me stesso.	2 give her, in the Lord, a welcome worthy of God's holy people, and help her with whatever she needs from you -- she herself has come to the help of many people, including myself.
3 Salutate Prisca e Aquila, miei collaboratori in Cristo Gesù.	3 My greetings to Prisca and Aquila, my fellow-workers in Christ Jesus,
4 Essi per salvarmi la vita hanno rischiato la loro testa, e a loro non io soltanto sono grato, ma tutte le Chiese del mondo pagano.	4 who risked their own necks to save my life; to them, thanks not only from me, but from al thechurches among the gentiles;

13 Salutate Rufo, prescelto nel Signore, e sua madre, che è una madre anche per me.	13 Greetings to Rufus, chosen servant of the Lord, and to his mother -- a mother to me too.
14 Salutate Asìncrito, Flegonte, Erme, Pàtroba, Erma e i fratelli che sono con loro.	14 Greetings to Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and the brothers who are with them.
15 Salutate Filòlogo e Giulia, Nereo e sua sorella e Olimpas e tutti i santi che sono con loro.	15 Greetings to Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas and al God's holy peoplewho are with them.
16 Salutatevi gli uni gli altri con il bacio santo. Vi salutano tutte le Chiese di Cristo.	16 Greet each other with the holy kiss. All the churches of Christ send their greetings.
17 Vi raccomando poi, fratelli, di guardarvi da coloro che provocano divisioni e ostacoli contro l’insegnamento che avete appreso: tenetevi lontani da loro.	17 I urge you, brothers, be on your guard against the people who are out to stir up disagreements andbring up difficulties against the teaching which you learnt. Avoid them.
18 Costoro, infatti, non servono Cristo nostro Signore, ma il proprio ventre e, con belle parole e discorsi affascinanti, ingannano il cuore dei semplici.	18 People of that sort are servants not of our Lord Christ, but of their own greed; and with talk thatsounds smooth and reasonable they deceive the minds of the unwary.
19 La fama della vostra obbedienza è giunta a tutti: mentre dunque mi rallegro di voi, voglio che siate saggi nel bene e immuni dal male.	19 Your obedience has become known to everyone, and I am very pleased with you for it; but I shouldwant you to be learned only in what is good, and unsophisticated about al that is evil.
20 Il Dio della pace schiaccerà ben presto Satana sotto i vostri piedi. La grazia del Signore nostro Gesù sia con voi.	20 The God of peace wil soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be withyou.
21 Vi saluta Timòteo mio collaboratore, e con lui Lucio, Giasone, Sosípatro, miei parenti.	21 Timothy, who is working with me, sends greetings to you, and so do my kinsmen Lucius, Jason andSosipater.
22 Anch’io, Terzo, che ho scritto la lettera, vi saluto nel Signore.	22 I, Tertius, who am writing this letter, greet you in the Lord.

25 A colui che ha il potere di confermarvi nel mio Vangelo, che annuncia Gesù Cristo, secondo la rivelazione del mistero, avvolto nel silenzio per secoli eterni,	25 And now to him who can make you strong in accordance with the gospel that I preach and theproclamation of Jesus Christ, in accordance with that mystery which for endless ages was kept secret
26 ma ora manifestato mediante le scritture dei Profeti, per ordine dell’eterno Dio, annunciato a tutte le genti perché giungano all’obbedienza della fede,	26 but now (as the prophets wrote) is revealed, as the eternal God commanded, to be made known toal the nations, so that they obey in faith:
27 a Dio, che solo è sapiente, per mezzo di Gesù Cristo, la gloria nei secoli. Amen.	27 to him, the only wise God, give glory through Jesus Christ for ever and ever. Amen.
