1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè e disse:	1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
2 «Parla agli Israeliti dicendo loro: “Quando sarete entrati nella terra che dovrete abitare e che io sto per darvi,	2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you have arrived in the country where you are to live andwhich I am giving to you,
3 e offrirete al Signore un sacrificio consumato dal fuoco, olocausto o sacrificio, per soddisfare un voto o per un’offerta spontanea o nelle vostre solennità, per offrire un profumo gradito al Signore con il vostro bestiame grosso o minuto,	3 and you burn food as an offering to Yahweh either as a burnt offering or as a sacrifice, whether inpayment of a vow, or as a voluntary gift, or on the occasion of one of your solemn feasts, from your herds andflocks as a smel pleasing to Yahweh:
4 colui che presenterà l’offerta al Signore offrirà in oblazione un decimo di efa di fior di farina, impastata con un quarto di hin di olio,	4 the offerer wil , as his personal gift to Yahweh, bring a cereal offering of one-tenth of an ephah of fineflour mixed with one-quarter of a hin of oil.
5 e vino come libagione, un quarto di hin: lo aggiungerai all’olocausto o al sacrificio, per ogni agnello.	5 You will also make a libation of wine, one-quarter of a hin to each lamb, in addition to the burntoffering or sacrifice.
6 Se è per un ariete, offrirai in oblazione due decimi di efa di fior di farina, impastata con un terzo di hin di olio,	6 For a ram, you will make a cereal offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-thirdof a hin of oil,
7 e vino in libagione, un terzo di hin: l’offrirai come profumo gradito al Signore.	7 and a libation of one-third of a hin of wine as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.
8 Se offri un giovenco in olocausto o in sacrificio per soddisfare un voto o in sacrificio di comunione al Signore,	8 If you offer a bul as a burnt offering or sacrifice, in payment of a vow or as a communion sacrifice forYahweh,
9 oltre al giovenco si offrirà un’oblazione di tre decimi di efa di fior di farina, impastata in mezzo hin di olio,	9 in addition to the animal you wil offer a cereal offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixedwith half a hin of oil,
10 e offrirai vino in libagione, un mezzo hin di vino; è un sacrificio consumato dal fuoco, profumo gradito al Signore.	10 and you wil offer a libation of half a hin of wine, as food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.
11 Così si farà per ogni giovenco, per ogni ariete, per ogni agnello o capretto.	11 This wil be done for every bul , every ram, every lamb or kid.
12 Secondo il numero degli animali che immolerete, farete così per ciascuna vittima.	12 Whatever the number of victims you intend to offer, you wil do the same for each of them, howevermany there are.
13 Quanti sono nativi della terra faranno così, per offrire un sacrificio consumato dal fuoco, profumo gradito al Signore.	13 "Every citizen of the country wil act in this way whenever he offers food burnt as a smel pleasing toYahweh;
14 Se uno straniero che dimora da voi, o chiunque abiterà in mezzo a voi, di generazione in generazione, offrirà un sacrificio consumato dal fuoco, profumo gradito al Signore, farà come fate voi.	14 and if an alien residing with you or with your descendants intends to offer food burnt as a smelpleasing to Yahweh, he wil do as you do.
15 Vi sarà una sola legge per l’assemblea, sia per voi sia per lo straniero che dimora in mezzo a voi, una legge perenne, di generazione in generazione; come siete voi, così sarà lo straniero davanti al Signore.	15 There wil be one law for you, members of the community, and the resident alien alike, a law bindingyour descendants for ever: before Yahweh you and the resident alien are no different.'
16 Ci sarà una stessa legge e una stessa regola per voi e per lo straniero che dimora presso di voi”».	16 One law, one statute, wil apply for you and the resident alien." '
17 Il Signore parlò ancora a Mosè dicendo:	17 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
18 «Parla agli Israeliti e di’ loro: “Quando entrerete nella terra in cui io vi conduco	18 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you have entered the country to which I am bringing you,
19 e mangerete il pane di quella terra, ne preleverete un’offerta da presentare al Signore.	19 you wil set a portion aside for Yahweh when you eat that country's bread.
20 Dalle primizie della vostra pasta preleverete una focaccia come contributo: la preleverete come si preleva il contributo per l’aia.	20 You wil set one cake aside as the first-fruits of your dough; you will set this offering aside like theone set aside from your threshing.
21 Delle primizie della vostra pasta darete al Signore un contributo, di generazione in generazione.	21 For al future generations you will set a portion of your dough aside for Yahweh.
22 Se avrete mancato per inavvertenza e non avrete osservato tutti questi comandi che il Signore ha dato a Mosè,	22 "If through inadvertence you fail in any of these orders which Yahweh has given to Moses
23 quanto il Signore vi ha comandato per mezzo di Mosè, dal giorno in cui il Signore vi ha dato comandi e in seguito, di generazione in generazione,	23 (whatever orders Yahweh has given you or your descendants through Moses, from the day whenYahweh gave his orders),
24 se il peccato è stato commesso per inavvertenza da parte della comunità, senza che la comunità se ne sia accorta, tutta la comunità offrirà un giovenco come olocausto di profumo gradito al Signore, con la sua oblazione e la sua libagione secondo la regola, e un capro come sacrificio espiatorio.	24 this is what must be done: "If it is an inadvertence on the part of the community, the community as awhole wil offer a young bull as a burnt offering, as a smell pleasing to Yahweh, with the prescribedaccompanying cereal offering and libation, and a he-goat as a sacrifice for sin.
25 Il sacerdote compirà il rito espiatorio per tutta la comunità degli Israeliti, e sarà loro perdonato; è un’inavvertenza ed essi hanno portato l’offerta, il sacrificio consumato dal fuoco in onore del Signore, e il loro sacrificio per il peccato davanti al Signore, per la loro inavvertenza.	25 The priest wil perform the rite of expiation for the entire community of Israelites, and they wil beforgiven, since it was an inadvertence. Once they have brought their offering as food burnt for Yahweh, and havepresented their sacrifice for sin before Yahweh to make amends for their inadvertence,
26 Sarà perdonato a tutta la comunità degli Israeliti e allo straniero che dimora in mezzo a loro, perché tutto il popolo ha peccato per inavvertenza.	26 the whole community of Israelites wil be forgiven, as also the alien residing with them, since theentire people acted by inadvertence.
27 Se è una persona sola che ha peccato per inavvertenza, offra una capra di un anno come sacrificio per il peccato.	27 "If it is an individual who has sinned by inadvertence, he wil offer a yearling kid as a sacrifice for sin.
28 Il sacerdote compirà il rito espiatorio davanti al Signore per la persona che avrà peccato per inavvertenza; quando avrà fatto l’espiazione per essa, le sarà perdonato.	28 The priest wil perform the rite of expiation before Yahweh for the person who has gone astray owingto this sin of inadvertence and, expiation having been made for him, he will be forgiven;
29 Sia per un nativo della terra tra gli Israeliti sia per uno straniero che dimora in mezzo a loro, avrete un’unica legge per colui che pecca per inavvertenza.	29 whether he is an Israelite citizen or a resident alien, you wil have one law for anyone who sins byinadvertence.
30 Ma la persona che agisce con deliberazione, nativa della terra o straniera, insulta il Signore; essa sarà eliminata dal suo popolo.	30 "But the individual who acts deliberately, be he citizen or alien, commits an outrage against Yahweh,and such a man wil be outlawed from his people.
31 Poiché ha disprezzato la parola del Signore e ha violato il suo comando, quella persona dovrà essere assolutamente eliminata; la colpa è su di lei”».	31 Since he has treated Yahweh's word with contempt and has disobeyed his order, such a man wil beoutlawed absolutely and wil bear the consequences of his guilt." '
32 Mentre gli Israeliti erano nel deserto, trovarono un uomo che raccoglieva legna in giorno di sabato.	32 While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was caught gathering wood on the Sabbath day.
33 Quelli che l’avevano trovato a raccogliere legna, lo condussero a Mosè, ad Aronne e a tutta la comunità.	33 Those who caught him gathering wood brought him before Moses, Aaron and the whole community.
34 Lo misero sotto sorveglianza, perché non era stato ancora stabilito che cosa gli si dovesse fare.	34 He was kept in custody, because the penalty he should undergo had not yet been fixed.
35 Il Signore disse a Mosè: «Quell’uomo deve essere messo a morte; tutta la comunità lo lapiderà fuori dell’accampamento».	35 Yahweh said to Moses, 'This man must be put to death. The whole community will stone him outsidethe camp.'
36 Tutta la comunità lo condusse fuori dell’accampamento e lo lapidò; quello morì secondo il comando che il Signore aveva dato a Mosè.	36 The whole community took him outside the camp and stoned him til he was dead, as Yahweh hadordered Moses.
37 Il Signore parlò a Mosè e disse:	37 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
38 «Parla agli Israeliti dicendo loro che si facciano, di generazione in generazione, una frangia ai lembi delle loro vesti e che mettano sulla frangia del lembo un cordone di porpora viola.	38 'Speak to the Israelites and tell them, for all generations to come, to put tassels on the hems of theirclothes and work a violet thread into the tassel at the hem.
39 Avrete tali frange e, quando le guarderete, vi ricorderete di tutti i comandi del Signore e li eseguirete; non andrete vagando dietro il vostro cuore e i vostri occhi, seguendo i quali vi prostituireste.	39 You wil thus have a tassel, and the sight of it wil remind you of al Yahweh's orders and how youare to put them into practice, and not follow the dictates of your own heart and eyes, which have led you to beunfaithful.
40 Così vi ricorderete di tutti i miei comandi, li metterete in pratica e sarete santi per il vostro Dio.	40 'This wil remind you of all my orders; put them into practice, and you wil be consecrated to yourGod.
41 Io sono il Signore, vostro Dio, che vi ho fatto uscire dalla terra d’Egitto per essere il vostro Dio. Io sono il Signore, vostro Dio».	41 I, Yahweh your God, have brought you out of Egypt, to be your God, I, Yahweh your God.'
