1 I capi del popolo si stabilirono a Gerusalemme; il resto del popolo tirò a sorte per far venire uno su dieci ad abitare a Gerusalemme, la città santa, e nove nelle altre città.	1 And the princes of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: but the rest of the people cast lots, to take one part in ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the other cities.
2 Il popolo benedisse quanti si erano offerti spontaneamente per abitare a Gerusalemme.	2 And the people blessed all the men that willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.
3 Questi sono i capi della provincia che si stabilirono a Gerusalemme, mentre nelle città di Giuda si stabilirono nelle rispettive città, ognuno nella sua proprietà, Israeliti, sacerdoti, leviti, oblati e i figli degli schiavi di Salomone.	3 These therefore are the chief men of the province, who dwelt in Jerusalem, and in the cities of Juda. And every one dwelt in his possession, in their cities: Israel, the priests, the Levites, the Nathinites, and the children of the servants of Solomon.
4 A Gerusalemme si stabilirono figli di Giuda e figli di Beniamino. Dei figli di Giuda: Ataià, figlio di Ozia, figlio di Zaccaria, figlio di Amaria, figlio di Sefatia, figlio di Maalalèl, dei figli di Peres;	4 And in Jerusalem there dwelt some of the children of Juda, and some of the children of Benjamin: of the children of Juda, Athaias the son of Aziam, the son of Zacharias, the son of Amarias, the son of Saphatias, the son of Malaleel: of the sons of Phares,
5 Maasia, figlio di Baruc, figlio di Col-Cozè, figlio di Cazaià, figlio di Adaià, figlio di Ioiarìb, figlio di Zaccaria, figlio del Silonita.	5 Maasia the son of Baruch, the son of Cholhoza, the son of Hazia, the son of Adaia, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zacharias, the son of the Silonite:
6 Totale dei figli di Peres che si stabilirono a Gerusalemme: quattrocentosessantotto, uomini valorosi.	6 All these the sons of Phares, who dwelt in Jerusalem, were four hundred sixty-eight valiant men.

14 e i loro fratelli, uomini valorosi, in numero di centoventotto; Zabdièl, figlio di Ghedolìm, era prefetto su di loro.	14 And their brethren who were very mighty, a hundred twenty-eight: and their ruler Zabdiel son of the mighty.
15 Dei leviti: Semaià, figlio di Cassub, figlio di Azrikàm, figlio di Casabia, figlio di Bunnì;	15 And of the Levites Semeia the son of Hasub, the son of Azaricam, the son of Hasabia, the son of Boni,

20 Il resto d’Israele, dei sacerdoti e dei leviti si stabilì in tutte le città di Giuda, ognuno nella sua eredità.	20 And the rest of Israel, the priests and the Levites were in all the cities of Juda, every man in his possession.
21 Gli oblati si stabilirono sull’Ofel, con Sica e Ghispa alla testa degli oblati.	21 And the Nathinites, that dwelt in Ophel, and Siaha, and Gaspha of the Nathinites.
22 Il prefetto dei leviti a Gerusalemme era Uzzì, figlio di Banì, figlio di Casabia, figlio di Mattania, figlio di Mica, dei figli di Asaf, i cantori per il servizio del tempio di Dio;	22 And the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem, was Azzi the son of Bani, the son of Hasabia, the son of Mathania, the son of Micha. 23 vi era infatti una disposizione del re a loro riguardo e un ordine per i cantori, prescrizione per ogni giorno.	23 For the king's commandment was concerning them, and an order among the singing men day by day.

25 Nei villaggi delle campagne, alcuni figli di Giuda si stabilirono a Kiriat-Arbà e nelle sue dipendenze, a Dibon e nelle sue dipendenze, a Iekabseèl e nei suoi villaggi,	25 And in the houses through all their countries. Of the children of Juda so dwelt at Cariath-Arbe, and in the villages thereof: and at Dibon, and in the villages thereof: and at Cabseel, and in the villages thereof.
26 a Iesua, a Moladà, a Bet-Pelet,	26 And at Jesue, and at Molada, and Bethphaleth,
27 a Casar-Sual, a Bersabea e nelle sue dipendenze,	27 And at Hasersual, and at Bersabee, and in the villages thereof,
28 a Siklag, a Meconà e nelle sue dipendenze,	28 And at Siceleg, and at Mochona, and in the villages thereof,
29 a En-Rimmon, a Sorea, a Iarmut,	29 And at Remmon, and at Saraa, and at Jerimuth,
30 a Zanòach, ad Adullàm e nei loro villaggi, a Lachis e nelle sue campagne, ad Azekà e nelle sue dipendenze. Si insediarono da Bersabea fino alla valle di Innòm.	30 Zanoa, Odollam, and in their villages, at Lachis and its dependencies, and at Azeca and the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Bersabee unto the valley of Ennom.
31 I figli di Beniamino si stabilirono a Gheba, Micmas, Aià, Betel e sue dipendenze,	31 And the children of Benjamin, from Geba, at Mechmas, and at Hai, and at Bethel, and in the villages thereof,
32 ad Anatòt, Nob, Anania,	32 At Anathoth, Nob, Anania,
33 Asor, Rama, Ghittàim,	33 Asor, Rama, Gethaim,
34 Adid, Seboìm, Neballat,	34 Hadid, Seboim, and Neballat, Led,
35 Lod e Ono, nella valle degli Artigiani.	35 And Ono the valley of craftsmen.
36 Dei leviti parte si stabilì con Giuda, parte con Beniamino.	36 And of the Levites were portions of Juda and Benjamin.
